[REVIEW] Peripera Ink Black Cara Long Setting Mascara

Peripera Ink Black Cara Long Setting Review

Peripera Ink Black Cara Long Setting Mascara Review:

I study in one of the most famous shopping areas for girls here in Seoul, so temptation is big wherever I turn. But Peripera is a brand famous for its affordable and fashionable products, and since most people seem content with the quality I decided to give it a shot too!

Well, I use mascara a lot. I have a few eyelashes that point down or inwards and mascara is the only way to fix them with a not-inwards curl! My eyelashes are already black and relatively long, so my main goal when I get mascara, other than fixing them in a non painful way, is to make them look full and separated. I don’t like clumpy mascara on myself.

[REVIEW] A’pieu Waterful Bamboo Soothing Gel

A’pieu Waterful Bamboo Soothing Gel Review

A’pieu Waterful Bamboo Soothing Gel Review:

The world of soothing gels is fit for any taste and any skin type. I first thought that this would be just a copy of the famous Aloe gels, but I found out that each type of gel has its own abilities and utilities and I know that this one can match an Aloe gel in some. I also know that it is less good at some things, but better at others.

Since soothing gels tend to be an affordable product, they are a staple in most people’s beauty cabinets, and definitely a staple in mine. If you haven’t used a Bamboo soothing gel, I’m sure you will get to know some cool stuff about it if you keep reading.

[REVIEW] TonyMoly Pokemon Eye Palette Pikachu & Purin

TonyMoly Pokemon Eye Palette Pikachu & Purin Review

TonyMoly Pokemon Eye Palette Pikachu & Purin Review:

Well, as you might have noticed, Pokemon fan here. So, again this is a product that I bought for the packaging. Honestly, I wasn’t even mildly worried because Missha eyeshadows (good quality, beautiful colors) fit here in this box perfectly. So, I went ahead and bought these!

I got both versions because I always have a hard time choosing, and I finally decided to try and use them, instead of simply removing these colors and replacing them. It’s not that I dislike the colors per se, but I don’t really trust Tony Moly eyeshadow quality due to a previous experience. Regardless, I gave it a shot and this was the result.

[REVIEW] SNP Animal Panda Whitening Mask

SNP Animal Panda Whitening Mask Review

SNP Animal Panda Whitening Mask Review:

I have a very nice supermarket here next to my house. Other than its own line of cheap and good skincare products it also has a few famous branded mask sheets! I got my hands on this one, of course, because I really love pandas, and masks, and I like to cosplay. Perfect combination of everything!

Also, this panda mask has the advantage of being a whitening mask (which usually means brightening) and I have a lot of stains and spots to deal with. I am excited to try this as I keep seeing animal masks, and SNP products everywhere and never tried any. However just upon reading the ingredient list I got something to pay attention to – and not in a good way.

[REVIEW] Illi Hanbang Camellia Oil Nourishing Mask

Illi Hanbang Camellia Oil Nourishing Mask Review

Illi Hanbang Camellia Oil Nourishing Mask Review:

I literally bought this mask, and a few from the same collection, because of the packaging. I really like Korean traditional paintings and designs, and in a mask pack it doesn’t get much more traditional than this! I chose this one to start, out of all the ones I bought, because of the color, it’s a beautiful burgundy.

Other than that, Illi has been catching my eye for a long time, I want to try their creams, cleansers, all of it. It’s a really affordable brand by Amore Pacific, the same brand that owns IOPE, Laneige, Mamonde, Aritaum,… So it’s just really tempting!

[REVIEW] Missha Near Skin Phyto Azulen Cream

Missha Near Skin Phyto Azulen Cream Review

Missha Near Skin Phyto Azulen Cream Review:

I tested these products (this cream and it’s two sisters) in the store as soon as they came out and by that one touch I could tell right away they are all highly moisturizing creams. They also all have different focuses, and this one focuses in long term (day long) reducing of the skin temperature while being appropriate for sensitive and dry skin, or skin that needs special care.

But what is Near Skin? It’s one of the Missha collections, however it’s almost like a sub-brand of Missha since Missha’s name doesn’t even appear on the packagings of these products. Near Skin focuses on derma cosmetics, so if you would like to try Missha products to deal with specific skin troubles this is the collection you should be looking at.

[REVIEW] TonyMoly Luminous Goddess Aura Aurolighter aka Rainbow Highlighter

TonyMoly Luminous Goddess Aura Aurolighter aka Rainbow Highlighter Review

TonyMoly Luminous Goddess Aura Aurolighter aka Rainbow Highlighter Review:

I don’t think I need an explanation for this one. But I will give one anyway! We didn’t get many rainbow highlighters here in Korea when the trend came. From the mainstream brands we got this one, and one pastel version of it from Etude House. Well, I am one of those who loves unicorns and princess and glitter and fabulous stuff so, even though I don’t really wear highlighters, I had to grab one. Since the Etude House version was more pastel (or underwear color) I grabbed this one that had bright fabulousness dripping out of it.

[REVIEW] New 2017 Missha Homemade Moisturizing Mungbean Modeling Mask

Missha Homemade Moisturizing Mungbean Modeling Mask Review

Missha Homemade Moisturizing Mungbean Modeling Mask was purchased by Cosmeperks.

I want to say here in this section that if you have seen this product on Missha’s webpage you might have been deceived by the photo into thinking the size of this mask’s pack was bigger! I know I was! However I hope my photo was a little more enlightening than theirs. More on this later.

This mask is a jelly-type modeling mask that comes in three flavors, with three completely different effects. Of course being summer I chose the moisturizing mask (maybe even not in summer I would choose it). The gel part of this mask (or essence) is common in all three flavors, then the powder is the different agent, which I found cute and practical. I know modeling masks are very popular among foreigners, but in Korea they are actually just starting to kick off, and it’s an expected-to-be trend for the end of this season. I urge you to find out how Korean products are “discovering” these masks!

[REVIEW] Femmue Flower Infused Fine Mask

Femmue Flower Infused Fine Mask Review

Femmue Flower Infused Fine Mask Review:

On my visit to the Femmue show room I purchased a few things. I mean, natural ingredients, flowers, no animal testing – it all sounds attractive just by writing it, imagine when I tested it on the store. So I walked out with it! But I paid of course.

Anyway, this mask I was told works as a wash off mask, but also as a light sleeping mask. Of course I was intrigued. Do you remember when I wrote that you can also use the Mamonde Calendula sleeping mask as a wash off mask? This mask was actually the inspiration for me trying that! So, I decided to use it many many days in a row and in many many different ways, and I think you should read this. If not for the mask then for the new stuff you might find out!
