[REVIEW] A’pieu Mashed Potato Pack

[REVIEW] A’pieu Mashed Potato Pack

A’pieu Mashed Potato Pack was purchased by Cosmeperks.

The wonders of potatoes. Did you know you can literally grate a raw potato and put it on your face and it’ll be awesome for you skin? So when I saw this pack I didn’t know what it was (here in Korea they don’t always advertise the products for their utilities but for their special points – potatoes in this case) but I knew I would love to try it. A’pieu usually has hit or miss products, but they never once damaged my skin and the good ones are really really good – especially for the price.

So, not knowing what this baby was (which of course you know, because you read the title) I jumped to the store and have been using it ever since!

[REVIEW] A’Pieu Madecassoside Cream

[REVIEW] A’Pieu Madecassoside Cream

A’Pieu Madecassoside Cream Review:

With the presence of demand for madecassoside/centella asiatica-based products, it was hardly surprising to see so many skincare brands churning out some enticing items. And for someone who has skin on the more sensitive spectrum, I was definitely intrigued at the soothing claims. So, along with the toner/fluid from the same brand and line, I decided to add the cream to my ever expanding skincare collection.

[REVIEW] A’Pieu Madecassoside Fluid

[REVIEW] A’Pieu Madecassoside Fluid

A’Pieu Madecassoside Fluid Review:

Interestingly enough, I first discovered this product through one of the lists Cosmeperks produced in the earlier stages of the website. Specific link here. As I’m sensitive to high concentrations of hyaluronic acid in skincare, I was looking specifically for toners which omitted the ingredient completely – just to see if it’d make any difference to my usually flushed skin. And as the product also contained centella and madecassoside which have been made famous for their skin soothing properties, I was even more intrigued.

[REVIEW] A’pieu Waterful Bamboo Soothing Gel

[REVIEW] A’pieu Waterful Bamboo Soothing Gel

A’pieu Waterful Bamboo Soothing Gel Review:

The world of soothing gels is fit for any taste and any skin type. I first thought that this would be just a copy of the famous Aloe gels, but I found out that each type of gel has its own abilities and utilities and I know that this one can match an Aloe gel in some. I also know that it is less good at some things, but better at others.

Since soothing gels tend to be an affordable product, they are a staple in most people’s beauty cabinets, and definitely a staple in mine. If you haven’t used a Bamboo soothing gel, I’m sure you will get to know some cool stuff about it if you keep reading.

[Review] A’pieu Fresh Mate Tea Tree Sleeping Mask

[Review] A’pieu Fresh Mate Tea Tree Sleeping Mask

A’pieu Fresh Mate Tea Tree Sleeping Mask Review:

Sister brand of the well known brand Missha, A’pieu formulates makeup and skincare targeting young women in their twenties. The amazing prices, promising claims and a flash sale compelled me to try a few products from this brand. This brand has a line of ‘fresh mate’ masks, the tea tree sleeping mask seemed perfect for my oily skin that blemishes when irritated. This mask contains hefty amounts of tea tree extract.Tea tree is an excellent antibacterial and antifungal ingredient that works amazingly for banishing acne and soothing skin. But does this sleeping mask work?

[Review] A’pieu Icing Sweet Bar Sheet Mask Watermelon

[Review] A’pieu Icing Sweet Bar Sheet Mask Watermelon

A’pieu Icing Sweet Bar Sheet Mask Watermelon was purchased by Cosmeperks.

So, summer is here and all brands are doing stuff that’s too tempting for most of us. Whereas the season for most of the new products is over, all brands steadily release new products during the summer time. Etude House released the ice cream shaped lip tint (reviewed), and in this case A’pieu released this ice cream shaped mask sheet! Coincidence? Most likely…

This mask comes in four different flavors: melon, watermelon, pineapple, and mandarin orange (actually hallabong – a sweeter Japanese genetically modified strand of mandarin orange) if I’m not mistaken. Well, both in Korea as in Portugal summer means watermelon! So of course I got that one! Also, it’s one of the prettiest packages, because it has a higher color contrast. I promise if you read the claims of this mask you’ll at least be a little surprised, considering the price of this product!

[Review] A’PIEU Fresh Mate Papaya Wash Off Peeling Mask

[Review] A’PIEU Fresh Mate Papaya Wash Off Peeling Mask

A’PIEU Fresh Mate Papaya Wash Off Peeling Mask Review:

Wait, is it a wash off mask or a peeling mask?? It’s a peeling mask that you wash off! What first attracted me to it is that it peels (mainly) with small gel balls, and that means there is a limit to how aggressive it can be on a sensitive skin, unless the product has aggressive ingredients (of course) – which didn’t seem to be the case when I first tried it at the store! So, for this nice little price, I decided to give it a try.

We all should do some sort of peeling (exfoliation) at least once a week, to remove the dead skin cells. But the problem is that by doing peelings our skin become more sensitive, and that’s really bad for sensitive skins. Can this product be what we need to keep our skin routines up?

[Review] A’pieu Real Big Yogurt One Bottle Sheet Mask | Strawberry

[Review] A’pieu Real Big Yogurt One Bottle Sheet Mask | Strawberry

After trying the Itibiti yogurt mask I started feeling the need to try every yogurt mask. Although there are a lot of them I can’t afford, this one I can definitely afford, so I have to try it, right?
They have more than one “flavor” in the store, but to strive for equality I decided to try the strawberry one. Also my favorite yogurt flavor.
