Labiotte Wine Lip Tint Review:
Hi, my name is Jui and I am addicted to lipstick… mattes, to be specific. I have been hooked for years now. I honestly think that matte is the best formula ever but my lips say otherwise. While color payoff is super gorge, they are really bad for my lips; I always end up with very chapped, cracked lips. Truth be told, I’ve been okay with this. Still cool even though sometimes my lips get tinge of blood and gets a bit painful whenever I put on a smile. Naturally, my issues didn’t stop me from hoarding more ultra-matte lipstick. I don’t know what happened but one day I just found myself on google looking for “long lasting lip tints”.
I’ve seen a lot of brands, alright. From Western to Asian brands. It was kind of easy for me to narrow my options since I’m more inclined to Asian Beauty. Now I was torn between these beautiful packaging; if you’re into Korean Beauty you would understand that sometimes, you really end up buying stuff just because they were housed in a cute packaging –and that’s exactly how this cutesy thing ended up in my grabby hands.

Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint Nebbiolo Red (RD02) Review:
Allow me to talk about its packaging –the very reason why it stood up among the sea of lip tints. Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint, as you can see looks like a miniature wine! It appealed cute and classy to me. When I opened the product, it actually did smell like wine!
What’s even more surprising is that it kind of tasted like wine –the sweet kind. I honestly didn’t think that it would taste like that, talk about consistency!
You must be thinking “did she just say she tasted the lip tint?!” Hold your horses! I did not literally drop tints in my mouth. I did, however, lick my lips right after applying it and that’s a different story, right?
I am deeply hooked with pinks, peach and nudes when it comes to lipstick. Those type that you could wear everyday in your office without being judged.
There is no way I would buy a lip product that is of red shade, ever. But since this is a lip tint, I thought they were sheerer so I decided to get RD02.
RD02 or Nebbiolo Red is a bold color. As per website, they describe it as pinkish red shade. From my point of view, it’s a rich red shade that is somewhat plum? The consistency of this tint is more on the watery side so it glides on my lips easily.
Nebbiolo Red is a solid color and one application may be enough. I do however, does two coatings just to make sure that I applied it evenly on my lips. What’s good about this tint is that it doesn’t dry out. Staying power is decent too! It stays on my lips 2-3 hours tops with drinking in between.
I also don’t find the need to retouch because I love the stain it leaves on my lips when it’s starting to worn off. Honestly, I appreciate the tint at this time the most because it leaves your lips with a stain that looks like a natural flush.
Overall, I love this product and I would definitely buy other shades. If you are new to lip tints and you want good pigmentation and decent longevity, Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint is a good place to start!
