[REVIEW] Etude House Color My Brows in Shade 5 Blondie Brown

Etude House Color My Brows in Shade 5 Blondie Brown Review:

Before I started to change my natural black hair color, actually I usually skipped my brows area on my makeup routine. I just let it bare with its natural color, sometimes just combed it or hide it behind my bangs. I only do eyebrow grooming once or twice a week to give it a proper shape.

When, finally, I changed my black hair into light brown color, I found that it looks weird if I don’t match it with my eyebrows color too. So, I started to give more attention to my eyebrows, especially to give it the same color like my hair’s.

My first eyebrow mascara product was from Candy Doll. Then I found that it’s kinda pricey to me, so I searched other brand and came to Etude House’s product. Well, I lost my count. I couldn’t remember how many times I repurchased the product, but I’ve already tried 4 of 5 available colors. And now, let me share my thought about Etude House Color My Brows in shade 5 Blondie Brown.

I think we agree that Etude always brings something cute and eye-catching in every package. Of course, this product is no exception. The brow mascara itself comes in usual mini tube with light brown color.

But look at the outer package, isn’t that pretty? Looks like a mini book, the outer package has the descriptions and other informations of the product. Mostly in Korean Hangul. I can read the Hangul, but don’t understand the meaning, hahaa!

Back to the brow mascara’s package. The tube is very simple and pretty short. It’s not more than 9 cm. With that mini size, this product is travel friendly and easy to be included in our pouch.

On the other hand, since it doesn’t have long size, the wand of the applicator is automatically being somewhat short. Not really annoying to me. At first, it’s uncomfortable (because I used to wear Dolly Wink that has longer wand) but after several times, then it has become okay.

The brush applicator is like many others mascaras. It has tapered comb and the bristles are soft. It works pretty good for covering my natural brows color. But I will like it more if the brush was slimmer.

The Blondie Brown color is a light brown color with hint of gold. The color is pretty and suitable for everyone who has light or blonde hair. When I swatched the product on my hand, I found that it has shimmer too. I was afraid that I couldn’t wear it on my daily makeup.

But thank God, when applying the product on my eyebrows, the shimmer is unnoticeable. So it doesn’t look too much with that bling-bling dots.

With its creamy and kinda thick texture, this product has good enough coverage. On my black and hairy eyebrows, I have to use it 2 layers to cover up my natural brows color. And the result is great as the picture you could see. My black brows turned into blondie brown with even colors.

Wearing brow mascara is super simple way to my makeup routine. It’s like combing my brows then tadaa… my brows color is changed! Of course, the result will be better if used eyebrow pencil first to draw the outline. But even without drawing an outline, I’m satisfied enough with only using this brow mascara.

This product is enough to make my brows look more neat with pretty color. So if you’re lucky having thick eyebrows, the brow mascara is like a shortcut on your eyebrow makeup routine (especially if you are lazy enough like me :P)

When wearing makeup, I never touch-up my eyebrows area, too lazy to do that. Luckily, Etude House Color My Brows has quite good staying power. It stayed almost a whole day on my brows. Well, maybe faded away on the corner area after hours, but just very small amount.

I’m not sure whether because my brows have thick hair or whatsover, but the fact is it’s waterproof too. As far as we don’t rub strongly our brows, the brow mascara will stay along. Other good point from this product is it doesn’t make my sensitive skin around eyebrow area feel itchy, red or something else.

I found that a lot of online sellers in my country sell this product, it showed that this product is famous here. Well, I agree if people like to buy and wear Etude House Color My Brows since the price is reasonable yet the quality is great.

Though I don’t use this product anymore (because my hair color is black now) but I’m sure to repurchase it again when I dye my hair in light color, someday ;D
