Etude House Fix and Fix Pore Primer Review

[Review] Etude House Fix and Fix Pore Primer

Etude House Fix and Fix Pore Primer Review:

I’m a makeup lover and my goal is to have the perfect base; I realized after watching tons of YouTube videos that I didn’t use a really important product during the makeup process: the primer! I saw some videos where YouTubers used some pore-cover primers to keep their makeup lasting longer and to avoid the visible pores and I realized that the issue I had with my base it’s exactly that one: it lasted not for so long and after a while the pores were really visible. During that period Etude House launched their new primer line, the Fix and Fix, I saw the advertisements in the website so I decided to buy in order to verify if I could have some better results for my makeup base.

How to use:

After using skincare products, evenly apply an appropriate amount on the face in the direction of skin texture before applying cushion or makeup.

Etude House Fix and Fix Pore Primer Review:

I started to use this primer 1 month ago and I use it every time I do my makeup, no matter if I’ll use liquid foundation, mineral powder foundation, cushion foundation or no foundation at all. The packaging is nice, it is a normal tube with smooth surface, I just would expect something more cute from Etude House, but probably they wanted to give a formal concept to the product to gain a wide range of customers.

Etude House Fix and Fix Pore Primer Review

First of all, I really love the texture of this primer; it is soft and light and as soon as you put in your face, it will get absorbed immediately. The feeling I have is it’s no greasy, no oily, no dry, just perfection. Normally I put a small amount of product on the tip of the fingers, I rub it with the fingers of the other hand and dab it gently on the face starting from the nose and blending it out to the cheeks.

If I have the feeling that I need more product, I just repeat the process; sometimes I put it all around the face too, especially when I know I’ll use creamy blush. Then the skin is ready for any kind of foundation I wish to use and sometimes I use it without foundation too because it makes my skin matte and ready to go anyway.

And at the evening I still have my foundation on and my skin looks nice. It doesn’t change my skin color, although it looks like tinted, but it makes my skin really smooth and nice to touch. The perfume is soft and really light, not disturbing at all.

Etude House Fix and Fix Pore Primer Review

I would say this product is very similar to Benefit The PORE professional. The ingredients are not so bad, most of the components are safety, please check the dedicated COSDNA webpage

I would definitely repurchase the product because the price is cheap and probably I wouldn’t be able to put my foundation on without this base first. As I said it’s very similar to Benefit The PORE professional, but the price is really cheaper so I would go for the Etude House without any doubt. I recommend it to everyone, no matter the type of skin you have, but I would suggest to use especially if you have visible pores.
