It is my habit that once a month I search for some k-beauty products on my favourite online sites. But sometimes I also like to make small trips to TK Maxxx to check if they have anything new in store. Accidentally while I was scanning the shelves, I found the Holika Holika Wine Therapy Sleeping Mask Red Wine and immediately wanted to try it as I had it on my wishlist for a long time. Even though my skin is not dry and I don’t have many wrinkles (not yet :D), I wanted to check the effects of this product. Previously I used Holika Holika’s aloe gel during summer and I had a positive opinion about that one so I expected a lot from this red wine barrel.

Holika Holika Wine Therapy Sleeping Mask Red Wine Review:
The first thing that is important to mention, no, none of my (mimic) wrinkles (especially around eyes) have disappeared. However, after using it, the next day my skin is smoother, more relaxed and the roughness disappears. The consistency of this product is really interesting. Like a jelly with a very pleasant smell. Also the product comes back to its original shape every day 😀
The texture is a little bit problematic because it is hard to control it while putting it one the face. The small spatula doesn’t help much as the mask melts quickly and it slides off the face. So you have to be careful while applying it.
I don’t need a lot to cover my whole face, so you will need only a little bit (one spatula) to spread it on your face. After applying it, the product leaves a sticky feeling but not for the entire time. It absorbs quickly and gives a refreshing feeling. The skin is not puckered but it is well-moisturized. The next day after waking up, while touching your face, you will feel that your skin is baby soft. It is very satisfying 🙂
I have been using the mask since September. Of course I don’t use it every night. Nevertheless, the cute barrel-like package is surprisingly economical and will last for a longish time.
I would repurchase it after some time for sure because the effects of using this mask are, in the end, satisfying. The skin is soft, relaxed and hydrated. I recommend Holika Holika Wine Therapy Sleeping Mask Red Wine to those who have combination/oily and dry skin.
