I first discovered this I’m From Honey Mask after an epically lazy day that consisted of eating and binge watching YouTube beauty reviews. I came across Gothamista’s YouTube Channel and saw she had posted a video called “Honey Masks Smack Down. Farmacy Honey Potion and I’m From Honey Mask.” Well, I gravitate towards honey in my skincare products like Winnie the Pooh. I also own and LOVE the Farmacy Honey Potion mask but my supply of it was dwindling so I was on the hunt for something more affordable but just as effective. “I’m From” is a Korean skincare brand that I was already familiar with because I am a slave to their honey sheet masks. According to Wishtrend’s website, the “I’m From Honey Mask” uses almost 40% pure honey from Mount Jiri in South Korea.
The company claims that this mask will nourish, repair, smooth, recover, plump, moisturize, whiten AND brighten. Being the beauty addict that I am, I purchased the mask before I even finished Gothmista’s 5 minute YouTube video.

I’m From Honey Mask Review:
You have the option of buying the mask with a special silicon brush or you can buy the brush separately on Memebox for $3. I just used the little plastic spatula that was included in the box to take the product out of the jar and to spread it onto my freshly cleansed and toned face.
The instructions say not to leave it on for more than 1 hour. The consistency was very thick (sort of like your kitchen honey) but not as sticky in texture. It was very easy to spread on the skin and did not tug at all. It’s a little bit messy to rinse off since the formula is so thick but it will come off easily with warm water or a warm washcloth. The mask doesn’t have a strong fragrance, it smells like honey!
I had really high expectations for this product because I was comparing it to Farmacy’s Honey Potion. I saw results immediately every time I use Farmacy’s Honey Potion. Unfortunately, I don’t think that this did as much for my skin as I thought it would.
After I rinsed the mask off, did my skin feel moisturized? Yes. Did it repair, smooth, nourish, recover, light and brighten? No, not really. I kind of felt like I would have gotten the same results if I had just used the organic honey sitting in my kitchen cabinet on my face.
I’ve used this 4x since then and I still am waiting for the moment where I’m like “okay I’m going to stop seeing other honey products for you.” However, I made a sample of this mask for my sister (who also owns Farmacy’s Honey Potion) and she just recently sent me a text after she used the sample that said “this honey mask is bomb.” She liked how her BB cream applied after she used this mask and she thinks it’s more soothing than Farmacy’s Honey Potion.
I think that if you’re looking for something soothing and very moisturizing then you will love this mask. If you are looking for something that will really brighten and smooth your complexion then I would try something different. In the end, my sister and I decided to swap masks with each other so it was a win-win for the both of us.
