Tosowoong Enzyme Powder Wash Review

Tosowoong Enzyme Powder Wash Review:

A few months ago, every forum, every chat board or social network were buzzing about this Tosowoong Enzyme Powder Wash. After reading ingredients list, I said NO. “There’s no way in he…I would put SLS or denatured alcohol on my face. Heck NO! But after I had read some trusted reviews about really convenient pH of 5.5 of this cleanser, I decided to give it a try. After all, it’s the cost of less than 10$ so it wouldn’t move the Earth towards black hole if it didn’t work. So, here we go.

[REVIEW] Scinic First Treatment Essence

Scinic First Treatment Essence Review

Scinic First Treatment Essence Review:

First treatment essences are an essential in every multi step Korean inspired skincare routine. Today the market is flooded with first treatment essence from different brands all promise to have more than ninety percent galactomyces ferment filtrate extract. I have the Missha first treatment essence and I have also tried the SK2 first treatment essence, so when I saw that Scinic has a first treatment essence for an unbeatable price I had to try it out.

[REVIEW] Scinic Honey All in One Ampoule

Scinic Honey All in One Ampoule Review

Scinic Honey All in One Ampoule Review:

Early on in my “skincare journey”, the Scinic Honey All in One Ampoule definitely piqued my interest when I first heard of it. As I was sorely missing a good hydrating/moisturising step in my quest of rebuilding my skincare regime, the claims of being an “all in one” product was too good to pass up. So despite the huge size of possible disappointment, I decided to just go for it. But with great power (claims), comes great responsibility (to deliver)…

[REVIEW] My Beauty Diary Alps Edelweiss Ultra Repairing Mask

My Beauty Diary Alps Edelweiss Ultra Repairing Mask Review

My Beauty Diary Alps Edelweiss Ultra Repairing Mask Review:

I am such an avid fan of My Beauty Diary. No words can describe how much I adore this brand. I was out in the sweltering heat for the entire day in sunny Singapore and was afraid of the damage it would do to my skin. Although I applied sunblock (SPF50+ PA+++), I did not want to take any chances. I decided to use this mask to hopefully neutralise the damage to my sun-soaked skin.

I got this in a box of 8 at my local Guardian because I was attracted to its romantic packaging and its pastel purple tones. It looks so sweet and when it comes to sheet masks, the more the merrier!

[REVIEW] Tsaio Witch Hazel Oil Control Mask

Tsaio Witch Hazel Oil Control Mask Sheet Review

Tsaio Witch Hazel Oil Control Mask Review:

I am an advocate for natural acne and skincare treatment. I did not realise how wonderful witch hazel was until I started using My Beauty Diary’s Witch Hazel Oil Control Essence Mask. Pimply me was so excited that I decided to do some research on the benefits of witch hazel. Due to its astringent properties, it is one of the most effective natural treatment for acne, and can even fight against skin cancer. Its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties help protects against free radical damage from stress, poor diet and pollution. Is witch hazel awesome or what?!

I got this Tsaio sheet mask last Christmas and have kept it in my mask stash because I was always buying new masks to try. This gem was hidden under dust and it is time for it to shine.

[REVIEW] Femmue Flower Infused Fine Mask

Femmue Flower Infused Fine Mask Review

Femmue Flower Infused Fine Mask Review:

On my visit to the Femmue show room I purchased a few things. I mean, natural ingredients, flowers, no animal testing – it all sounds attractive just by writing it, imagine when I tested it on the store. So I walked out with it! But I paid of course.

Anyway, this mask I was told works as a wash off mask, but also as a light sleeping mask. Of course I was intrigued. Do you remember when I wrote that you can also use the Mamonde Calendula sleeping mask as a wash off mask? This mask was actually the inspiration for me trying that! So, I decided to use it many many days in a row and in many many different ways, and I think you should read this. If not for the mask then for the new stuff you might find out!

[REVIEW] G9 Skin Color Clay Sheet Tension Red Mask

G9 Skin Color Clay Sheet Tension Red Review

G9 Skin Color Clay Sheet Tension Red Mask Review:

This is the first product I tried from the brand G9 skin, Berrisom’s sister brand. I really loved the other products I previously tried from Berrisom so I didn’t hesitate to purchase this one. This mask attracted me because of its unique design and formula, as it’s made of clay! To this day I haven’t found any similar mask sheets that are made from clay.

[Review] Etude House 0.2mm Therapy Air Tea Tree Mask

Etude House 0.2mm Therapy Air Tea Tree Mask Review

Etude House 0.2mm Therapy Air Tea Tree Mask Review:

Tea tree is something I would definitely recommend to every pimply girl out there. I swear by tea tree sheet masks, and the Naruko Tea Tree Shine Control & Blemish Clear Mask is still the best amongst all the others I’ve tried. While tea tree oil may be too harsh on the skin, tea tree sheet masks are a good way to deliver adequate moisture while soothing those vengeful pimples.

Etude House sheet masks were previously featuring the ‘I Need You’ series, which I thought looked quite amateur. I tried the green tea one and was disappointed. Thus I decided that my resources should be channelled to better formulas out there. Recently, I stumbled upon the ‘0.2mm Therapy Air’ series, which looks promising. I feel that the first line of marketing for sheet masks is usually their visual representation, and Etude House has finally gotten it right. I bought a few to try. Let’s see if this tea tree sheet mask will be able to avenge my skin and get rid of those annoying pimples.

[Review] My Beauty Diary Apple Polyphenol Mask Sheet

My Beauty Diary Apple Polyphenol Mask Sheet Review

My Beauty Diary Apple Polyphenol Mask Sheet Review:

I love apples. I love its smell as well as its flavour, and my dog goes cray for it too – not forgetting the fact that apples have tons of nutritional value and is good for the skin as well! When I saw this box of My Beauty Diary Apple Polyphenol sheet masks selling at my local Guardian, I just had to get my grubby hands on it!

I have mentioned the benefits of apples in one of my previous reviews, so I shan’t touch on it here. Nevertheless, I can’t emphasize enough how awesome apple is, both for the body and for the skin. I am also a fan of natural flavours in beauty products such as Jeju flowers, green tea, cactus, and ginseng, so I was hoping this would give my skin great benefits as well!
