[REVIEW] New 2017 Dr.Jart+ Water Fuse Hydro Sleep Mask

Dr.Jart+ Water Fuse Hydro Sleep Mask Review

Dr.Jart+ Water Fuse Hydro Sleep Mask was purchased by Cosmeperks.

I do love me some sleeping masks. They protect and nurture the skin during the night, and that is especially important in Korea during the winter, since the weather is cold and extremely dry. However, after getting used to them in the winter… I didn’t want to drop them in the summer! So I was really happy when I tried the Mamonde Calendula Sleeping Mask that is ideal for my skin during the summer. This mask, however, not only did I get to try it during the summer and during “this weather” (almost like Autumn), but also it’s a denser mask which also hydrates! So, after reading all the specs of this mask, can this be my year-round mask?

[REVIEW] Benton Aloe Bha Skin Toner

Benton Aloe Bha Skin Toner Review

Benton Aloe Bha Skin Toner Review:

I am a bit toners and FTEs junkie. I mean, yes, I am skin care junkie from head to toe, but there is something about these liquid wonders that make my wallet itch. I have all sorts of them: pH adjusting, hydrating, with or without snail mucin, all types of fermented everything… Well, you get the picture. This one in particular is with aloe vera, hyaluronic acid, snail secretion filtrate, and very interesting BHA – salicylic acid.

[REVIEW] Hada Labo Gokujyun Cleansing Oil

Hada Labo Gokujyun Cleansing Oil Review

Hada Labo Gokujyun Cleansing Oil Review:

Boasting a short ingredients list and a hefty amount of product at a relatively affordable price, I was quite intrigued with this cleansing oil. So when there was a sale, I immediately decided to pick it up as I generally have had no issues with olive oil-based first cleansers in the past. So, how did it fare?

[REVIEW] A’pieu Waterful Bamboo Soothing Gel

A’pieu Waterful Bamboo Soothing Gel Review

A’pieu Waterful Bamboo Soothing Gel Review:

The world of soothing gels is fit for any taste and any skin type. I first thought that this would be just a copy of the famous Aloe gels, but I found out that each type of gel has its own abilities and utilities and I know that this one can match an Aloe gel in some. I also know that it is less good at some things, but better at others.

Since soothing gels tend to be an affordable product, they are a staple in most people’s beauty cabinets, and definitely a staple in mine. If you haven’t used a Bamboo soothing gel, I’m sure you will get to know some cool stuff about it if you keep reading.

[REVIEW] SNP Animal Panda Whitening Mask

SNP Animal Panda Whitening Mask Review

SNP Animal Panda Whitening Mask Review:

I have a very nice supermarket here next to my house. Other than its own line of cheap and good skincare products it also has a few famous branded mask sheets! I got my hands on this one, of course, because I really love pandas, and masks, and I like to cosplay. Perfect combination of everything!

Also, this panda mask has the advantage of being a whitening mask (which usually means brightening) and I have a lot of stains and spots to deal with. I am excited to try this as I keep seeing animal masks, and SNP products everywhere and never tried any. However just upon reading the ingredient list I got something to pay attention to – and not in a good way.

[REVIEW] Illi Hanbang Camellia Oil Nourishing Mask

Illi Hanbang Camellia Oil Nourishing Mask Review

Illi Hanbang Camellia Oil Nourishing Mask Review:

I literally bought this mask, and a few from the same collection, because of the packaging. I really like Korean traditional paintings and designs, and in a mask pack it doesn’t get much more traditional than this! I chose this one to start, out of all the ones I bought, because of the color, it’s a beautiful burgundy.

Other than that, Illi has been catching my eye for a long time, I want to try their creams, cleansers, all of it. It’s a really affordable brand by Amore Pacific, the same brand that owns IOPE, Laneige, Mamonde, Aritaum,… So it’s just really tempting!

[REVIEW] Dr.Jart+ Dermask Micro Jet Brightening Solution Sheet Mask

Dr.Jart+ Dermask Micro Jet Brightening Solution Sheet Mask Review

Dr.Jart+ Dermask Micro Jet Brightening Solution Sheet Mask Review:

I recently had a beauty swap with a fellow beauty enthusiast over at Instagram although we didn’t do it in conventional manner of swapping. Shipping alone costs a lot so we decided that we get each other something off a website and send a “surprise gift” instead and it was so fun! One of the stuff she chose for me is the Dr.Jart+ Dermask Micro Jet Brightening Solution and I was so happy about it.

1. It is Dr. Jart, I’ve been meaning to try products from the said brand but they aren’t locally available and 2. It is a brightening mask! ☺ Dr. Jart masks are on the pricier side but I hear really good things about the brand. Let’s see if it’s worth all the hype, shall we?

[REVIEW] My Beauty Diary Alps Edelweiss Ultra Repairing Mask

My Beauty Diary Alps Edelweiss Ultra Repairing Mask Review

My Beauty Diary Alps Edelweiss Ultra Repairing Mask Review:

I am such an avid fan of My Beauty Diary. No words can describe how much I adore this brand. I was out in the sweltering heat for the entire day in sunny Singapore and was afraid of the damage it would do to my skin. Although I applied sunblock (SPF50+ PA+++), I did not want to take any chances. I decided to use this mask to hopefully neutralise the damage to my sun-soaked skin.

I got this in a box of 8 at my local Guardian because I was attracted to its romantic packaging and its pastel purple tones. It looks so sweet and when it comes to sheet masks, the more the merrier!

[REVIEW] New 2017 Missha Homemade Moisturizing Mungbean Modeling Mask

Missha Homemade Moisturizing Mungbean Modeling Mask Review

Missha Homemade Moisturizing Mungbean Modeling Mask was purchased by Cosmeperks.

I want to say here in this section that if you have seen this product on Missha’s webpage you might have been deceived by the photo into thinking the size of this mask’s pack was bigger! I know I was! However I hope my photo was a little more enlightening than theirs. More on this later.

This mask is a jelly-type modeling mask that comes in three flavors, with three completely different effects. Of course being summer I chose the moisturizing mask (maybe even not in summer I would choose it). The gel part of this mask (or essence) is common in all three flavors, then the powder is the different agent, which I found cute and practical. I know modeling masks are very popular among foreigners, but in Korea they are actually just starting to kick off, and it’s an expected-to-be trend for the end of this season. I urge you to find out how Korean products are “discovering” these masks!
