Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Mask Green Tea Review

Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask |Green Tea | Review

I always use Innisfree masks when I get the chance, since they are cheap and usually quite good, at least for me. Today what happened was that I did a peeling on my face and my face started hurting like hell. I’m not going to get into details, but obviously I needed something to soothe down my skin after such pain. I thought of the things that usually work – aloe, cucumber, green tea. I chose the last one, since it is the one I haven’t used for quite some time.

How to use:

  1. After washing your face, even out the skin texture with a toner, and if you use a first step serum be sure to use it before the toner.
  2. Then take out the mask and tightly place it onto the face, avoiding the eye and lip areas.
  3. After 10 to 20 minutes, remove the sheet from the face and gently pat your face to let the remaining gel absorb into the skin.

My Skin Type: Oily T, dry U, blemished, sensitive, and allergic.

Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Green Tea Review:

I told you in the introduction, I caused myself an accident and needed some help. Full face treatment help, of course or wouldn’t we be Asian beauty addicts 😉

This is what we are working with today. It hurts, it’s red, and both the first step serum and the toner (which is hydration based) burned when I put them. It never happened until today – it’s only because of the peeling.

Pulling the mask out we can see that it’s very different from most Innisfree masks from the same collection. I mean, the mask itself is the same, of course, I meant the serum is different.

This one, for starters, is not a serum but more of a gel type. And it is as liquid as a watery toner. It’s so liquid and transparent that the mask sheet itself looks transparent! But none the less it does have a lot of product, as you can see in the following photo.

And this is just what I was able to squeeze out of the pack after I removed the mask!

Applying it to my skin (for swatching purposes) it was almost impossible. It was incredibly difficult to have a photo taken since the liquid just slides down everywhere.

And when I massaged it into absorption there was hardly any difference on my skin. It is not a moisturizing mask, as far as I can say. But it did freshen my arm up tremendously.

Now, off to the actual review. In this condition I will not lie, it still burned my skin. But that passed after the first 5 minutes and my skin became cool, like right after you apply a fresh mist or aloe gel out of the fridge.

Since the purpose of the mask is not to give you honey dewy skin it is no surprise that after the 20 minutes were up parts of the mask were almost dry.

Here is the before and after. I won’t deny it burned at first, but it also provided real fresh relief from the burning pain I felt.
It is not a mask to reach for when you want hydration. And for another “accident” I would probably reach for aloe or cucumber, since this one burned, but then again there might not be too big of a difference since they all have alcohol.

But it is a really fresh mask, and it’ll be a recurrent go-to mask during the summer, since this mask is not sticky at all and is green-tea fresh.

  1. It’s nice that Innisfree mask works for you! I would definitely try green tea next time. I actually thought that all essences are on the milky side (which I dont like).
