[REVIEW] Koji Dolly Wink Pencil Eyecolor Cream Lame

Koji Dolly Wink Pencil Eyecolor Cream Lame Review:

Do you know Tsubasa Masuwaka? Or maybe are you a big fan of her, just like me? If you love J-Beauty trends, you may know her. In case you haven’t known yet, Tsubasa Masuwaka is a model, singer and most famous Gyaru icon from Japan. And she is a creator of the popular beauty brands Candy Doll and Dolly Wink as well. For me, she is like a magnet that pull me to try Japanese makeup. That’s why I didn’t have to think twice to buy her makeup line both from Candy Doll and Dolly Wink. But don’t judge me merely as a crazy-fanatic fan of her because, actually, most (or I guess all) of cosmetics that produced by Tsubasa have great qualities and never disappointed me. So, what’s the problem?

Well, as mentioned that I love Dolly Wink products, so when I saw Dolly Wink Pencil Eyecolor Cream Lame for the first time, it didn’t take a long time until I bought one. Simply, since I’m obsessed with big and cute eyes (because I don’t have that, LOL) and this product promised me the same things. In addition, honestly I have repurchased this eyeliner a few months ago after my first one was run out.  Yes, this is actually my second time bought this product. Now, let’s find out why I like Dolly Wink Pencil Eyecolor Cream Lame a lot.

Koji Dolly Wink Pencil Eyecolor Cream Lame Review:

I have tried a lot of Dolly Wink products and never disappointed with their quality and packaging. And this one is not an exception. I loved how it came to me with its super cute package. While usually we get an eyeliner in a box or only wrapped with plastic or sealed with sticker, this one is absolutely out of the box.

The outer package is extremely cute and pretty, just like Dolly Wink’s typical package. I love the daisy flowers and of course Tsu-Chan’s photo as well. I’d like to keep it, haha!

Meanwhile, the descriptions and instructions of the product is all in Japanese language. I think it is better if they have the English translations since Dolly Wink is popular not only in Japan.

The pencil eyeliner itself is as cute as the outer package. Its white-ivory color is pretty and the cap is very kawaii too. The size is travel friendly, just like your usual pencil which is very handy and not slippery. It’s a kind of best friend for your pouch.

Moving forward to its core, I’m kinda having a love-hate relationship with it. The core is actually soft, very soft like it’s claimed. Yes, the texture is like a crayon, thus we could easily draw a line on the lower eyelid without make it hurt.

It is a perfect eyeliner for sensitive eyes. It also glides smoothly and not clumpy. My big problem is everytime I want to sharpen the core. It breaks very easyly. Even when I took some photos for this review, I broke it again, LOL. I’m not sure if it’s just me or what, but if you try this product, make sure you are very careful while sharpening the pencil.

Swatch time! As you can see on the pictures, the color is champagne, whereas I wished I got a white color. Then after few times using this product, I guess the champagne color is better than white since it looks more natural.

This warm color is wearable for daily, for day to night makeup. It also has gold glitter. But don’t worry about the glitters because it has ultra fine size that won’t make your eyes look too shimmery. The glitter makes my eyes look brighter and give a bigger eyes illusion instead.

I have no hesitation about the staying power of Dolly Wink products, including this pencil eyecolor. It stays all day without smudging. My oily skin doesn’t bother the staying power of this product. Even when I apply it on my waterline, it could stay perfectly since it is waterproof too.

I used it at 7 AM and it still stayed prettily when I looked in the mirror at 5 PM. It won’t look flaky and the color is still nice too. This product is da bomb!

This pencil eyecolor is my holy grail from a long time. It makes my eyes look popping and brighter without a lot of effort because it has creamy and smooth texture.

And since it is pencil type, it is very easy to be used without looking messy. I even use it to highlight my nose bridge because it can be blended easily.

Dolly Wink Pencil Eyecolor Cream Lame is definitely a must have item for anyone who love dolly eyes look in natural touch. You don’t have to ask me again, I will certainly repurchase it again after I finished mine. The pricey cost is forgiven with its super awesome quality!
