Mamonde Moisture Ceramide Creamy Mask Sheet Review:

I love sheet masks. We all do. And our skin loves it even more, believe me. Koreans, and most Asian beauty enthusiasts, believe in the 1 day 1 pack (pack, mask, whatever you please) a day theory. And it is indeed a great thing for your skin. It injects serum or essence in a way a normal serum or essence won’t, because it’s a product that will stay on your face for 15 minutes. Mamonde has one of the best masks I have tried, and this time I decided to try a new one. I was attracted to Mamonde Moisture Ceramide creamy mask because the package is pink, and pink means flowers, and flowers mean happiness (as you or your skin might have noticed already). I got a 10+10 pack, so I’m hoping this will be a good one, or else I just wasted a big amount of money. I’m wearing the mask as I write this, so, come along!

Claims:

It claims to give extreme hydration. It contains in the cream the main component – Rose of Sharon. A flower the Korean people like to consider their national flower. They say the creamy essence helps soften the skin care, and the sheet is very silky and fit for the cream type mask.

Ingredients:

Water, Dipropylene glycol, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Glycerin, Hibiscus Syriacus Bark Extract, Butylene Glycol, Hydroxypropyl Bispalmitamide MEA, Inulin Lauryl Carbamate, Polyglyceryl-3 methylglucose distearate, Stearyl behenate, Betaine, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Xanthan Gum, Adenosine, Dimethicone, Glyceryl Stearate, Ethylhexylglycerin, 1, 2-Hexanediol, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, PEG-100 Stearate, Polysorbate 20, Polysorbate 60, Phenoxyethanol, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance

How to use:

Apply mask sheet to cleansed face and leave on for 10 to 20 minutes. Remove mask and massage the remaining solution into your skin with your hands.

The recommended interval for the application of this mask is every 2 to 3 days for maximum efficacy. That is because this mask is richer than most of them, as it is mainly cream and not essence.

My Skin Type: Oily T, dry U, blemished, sensitive, and allergic.

Mamonde Moisture Ceramide Creamy Mask Hibiscus Review:

As I said I was first attracted to the pack. Not that it’s anything extraordinary, but it is simple and pink and it has small flowers, and that’s enough for me.

As soon as I open it I’m surprised with the amount of cream attached to even just the opening slit!

And the mask itself is considerably soaked. Just by touching it, my fingers get full of product, and to take the picture I actually had to clean my other hand, this amount of cream just gets everywhere!

Here you can see it better, as it is a white cream you couldn’t see the contrast very well against the white mask.

I spread it a little and it absorbs right away into the skin, it does feel moisturizing but let’s see on the face, right?

The opened mask. It is actually soft, just like they said it would be.
As I put the mask on my face it feels really heavy, and it slides down slowly. I mean, it is actually sliding off my face, very slowly. And the package feels very heavy so I’m guessing there’s still a lot of cream inside.

The smell is very faint and soft. It does not feel aggressive nor like alcohol (lots of beauty products smell like alcohol). If I focus into it, it does smell a little like hibiscus, which is very pleasant. It smells as faint as the smell of the real flower, it’s delicious!

Now, off to wait for the time to end…

Once the time is up you can actually feel the mask has become way dryer than it was when I felt it slipping off my face. Which is not surprising if you think of how it absorbed very quickly on my arm earlier. The feeling is not sticky at all, if feels hydrated. Except on my greasy nose, there it feels greasy.
So, the patch of skin on my arm where I put the cream which I used to show you the texture, wow. It feels so soft. So, an advice, if you use this mask don’t throw the pack away. Squeeze the cream out of it and put it on your body (elbows, knees, even feet).

As they said, it might be good to use it only every 2 or 3 days. I am pleased with this mask. It’s not the best I’ve tried but it is actually ultra-moisturizing, and that is a thing my skin needs, especially in long term!
