Naruko Alps Edelweiss Soothing and Calming Mask Sheet Review:
There are days when my skin needs some serious loving –you know the classic soothing and calming effects? The most popular ingredient to give off this effect would usually be green tea and aloe, unfortunately, my skin doesn’t seem to respond well with them. I’ve tried a few tea masks and they fail to calm my skin, what’s even weird is the fact that my skin seems a bit dull after using green teas mask as well as aloe ones. Since Naruko has become a super brand for me, I just had to get the Alps Edelweiss Soothing and Calming Mask.
In general, Naruko Alps Edelweiss Soothing and Calming Mask claim to soothe and protect skin from sensitivity while providing rich hydration. It contains a lot of extract which is very promising like
Edelweiss extract for soothing, moisturizing, nourishing and has anti-aging property; Calendula extract which also helps in soothing and conditioning the skin; it also contains Oryza extract that is produced through fermentation so it is said to be rich in active yeast which contributes to brightening and skin moisturization.

Naruko Alps Edelweiss Soothing And Calming Mask Sheet Review:
Naruko Alps Edelweiss Soothing and Calming Mask is a pretty standard Naruko mask –about the same amount of essence and comes with plastic backing. As I open the packet, I could smell a gentle floral/fresh scent that is very pleasing to my nose and my impression on the scent lasted even when I wore it –the scent is so mild that it made my masking experience even better!
The fairly thin sheet was fully soaked in essence, there wasn’t much left on the packet. The essence used in this mask is colorless, pretty much like water. It was really light-weight but is not runny either. I used this mask on the night when my face feels a little bit uncomfortable –like I got redness on my face and was a bit irritated (again, I give the credits to the heat and allergy for continuously ruining my skin condition).
The sheet is decent, it was a bit wider but I’m okay with it for my face was pretty much covered. I left it on my face for about 20 minutes, it was still damp but I removed it anyway. I refrain from letting sheet masks get fully dry before I take them off and just follow the prescribed usage, after all, leaving them longer doesn’t really mean that you have maximized the usage!
My face was hydrated when I took off the mask –it was so nice and plump and bouncy! In addition, this mask was able to even out my skin tone.
This mask is really good because it was able to lessen my redness (I don’t think I’ve gotten this effect with tea and aloe masks I’ve tried before, like ever), and the teeny tiny bumps on my face seemed a little less agitated.
It’s a little hard to describe but to put it simply, Naruko Alps Edelweiss Soothing and Calming Mask was able to improve the overall condition of my face! What makes it even better is the fact that I also noticed a little brightening, which is probably due to rice extracts.
Overall, I love Naruko Alps Edelweiss Soothing and Calming Mask, this one is a real keeper! I’m just glad to have found a mask which I could reach to for when my skin needs some lovi’n!
I highly recommend this mask to any skin type, especially ones that are sensitive and prone to redness and irritations. It is also worth mentioning that this is one of the most lightweight masks that I have used, ever.
With that said, I feel that it can be used in the morning and mid-day masking too without worrying about your face being greasy or feeling heavy.
