The real nature collection is an affordable line of mainly natural products, and they have a lot of different scents, or base products. They extend from Rose to Argan, and of course Olive, among others. The products also have different prices, depending on the star ingredient, and as a Mediterranean girl I really wanted to try something from the Olive part of the collection. So I chose Nature Republic Olive Real Nature Cream.
It is, according to the website, a daily moisturizer for hydration, whitening, and restoring elasticity. The cream is formulated with high quality, and has concentrated olive oil. Nature Republic Olive Real Nature Cream specialized for skin that needs revitalizing and heavy moisture. Nourishes and hydrates skin with organic extracted concentrate ingredients. It also claims to be for all ages, and for day or night routines.

Nature Republic Olive Real Nature Cream Review:
Well, as soon as I opened the jar I thought I would be done with it after the first usage and just have to give it away to someone. Right at first glance it looks thick and heavy, either like advanced anti age night creams or like creams for extremely dry skin.
But I did learn not to judge any skin care product by their cover, first appearance, or first usage for that matter (unless they give you allergy). I like to try them as a part of my morning and night routine for at least 2 full weeks.
On a deeper analysis, the color is relatively yellow, reminding me of butter and margarine. Which is not a bad thing, not only do I love both of them, there are also amazing butters for your skin, like shea for example. Oh, and in case you didn’t read the ingredient list, shea is included here as an ingredient! Or, for French speakers, karite.
The first scoop I took of it only strengthened my thoughts of it being too strong and heavy. The texture was that of a denser or harder cream cheese, as you can see by the way it lumps on my finger. It’s like an easy spread butter commercial! But, moving on.
I spread it only slightly on my skin and my thoughts changed. Partially. It spreads really nicely, the buttery texture is like shea butter, it slides down the skin without leaving a greasy mark, it just spreads easily and moisturizes.
After absorption it feels like it was made for my skin. However! My hand skin and my facial skin are very different, so we have to analyze that.
I tried the cream on my face, everywhere. My U zone, which is dry, feels really nice after applying this product, it’s soft, hydrated, the perfect wrap up to my skin care routine. The T zone however, feels nice at first but around 20 minutes later I start feeling an exaggerated oil production on my nose and between my eyebrows. The skin itself feels nice with the cream, but no one wants to fry potatoes with facial oil, right?
So, according to what I experienced, this cream is not appropriate at all to oily skins. Very good for dry skins. Or, do it like me and use two different creams for your mixed skin, depending on the zone.
However, I don’t feel this cream is a waste. For people who want to prevent neck skin elasticity loss but are too young to use a neck cream, you can use this cream as a neck cream, which is what I am going to do. My neck likes it, it feels quite hydrated, and moisture prevents saggy skin and blemishes, right? And they do say it restores elasticity!
