[Review] Nature Republic Real Super Grain Foam Cleanser

Nature Republic Real Super Grain Foam Cleanser Review:

This product is fresh off the shelves! It literally came out 2 weeks ago, it was for pre-purchase for a while and I did do that, just so that I could be “the first” to try it. Grains are great for your skin because, just like nuts they give you healthy buttery oils and, well, butters.

Nature Republic Real Super Grain Foam Cleanser Review:

Being a grain based cleansing foam, I am very excited! It doesn’t say on the pack since it’s not in the functions they were aiming for, but I have an extra expectation for this cleanser.

Grains are known to help with acne relief, since they have oils and all other stuff, so I expect this cleanser to be very gentle on my pimples. I received this cleanser a few days ago, but I waited until “something” popped up on my forehead to see how it feels (regarding this extra expectation I have).

As usual, it’s protected by a simple sticker.

At first squeeze it really surprised me! Instead of coming out like most foam cleansers do (thick, looking almost like a shaving gel before adding water), it looks like… condensed milk?

The scent is similar to a sweet nuts based body lotion or hydrating cream.

When you scrub it with water it doesn’t bubble up in an aggressive manner, it bubbles more like soap would. The smell after wetting is like a sweet liquid grain hand soap (if I had to name a brand, I would say Palmolive almond bathing products, or Happy Bath wheat body wash).

Here you can see my forehead (and the pimples that come with it) before and after washing. You can see that my forehead skin is way more “detailed” which means the top layer of dirt all left.

And even though my face is not “squeaky clean” (which means your facial grease was all removed – including the good one) it feels equally clean, but it doesn’t feel dehydrated, as would happen if you washed your face with a strong foam cleanser, or a soap.

My pimples didn’t burst, nor did they hurt at any point of the washing! So, I’m pleased to say, this cleanser is very appropriate for sensitive skins. For acne prone skins. And for blemished skins.

Cleansers usually tend not to be healers, so what you should always look for in a cleanser is good cleaning without damaging or making your skin suffer. If it soothes your skin, like this one does, then extra points! It went up to my favorites list, and I usually really dislike foam cleansers.
