Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Combination Watery Cream Review

Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Combination Watery Cream | Review

Nature Republic is a brand that is close to my heart. I’ve considered it as safe-buy brand for I’ve never experienced breakout with any of their products I’ve tried so far. I also think that their price range is decent although some line could be very expensive but generally prices are okay, not too cheap that you would doubt efficacy.

I first encountered Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Combination Watery Cream few years ago when I was looking for something to give my mom after my trip to Korea. She was crazy about moisturizers so I bought couple of jars to gift her and she really liked it. I didn’t get one for myself because I honestly don’t find the need of moisturizing. It is only recently that felt the need to take care of my skin better because… okay, I’m not getting any younger. Let’s see the verdict.

Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Combination Watery Cream Review:

Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Cream comes in three variants –for oily(blue), combination(green) and dry(pink) skin.

Can I just say that I love it when they formulate products that are more specific with their client’s needs? Naturally, I purchased the one that is suited for people with combination skin.

As I opened the jar, I could already smell the product. It smells of green tea to me but in a really artificial way it is overpowering and I honestly don’t like it. The texture is smooth and its consistency is somewhere between gel and cream –it glides easily on my face.

This product may be named watery but is nowhere near in my definition of watery. It is a bit thick to my liking but forgivable since I don’t find it sticky at all. I was worried that the cream would just sit on top of my face.

Surprisingly, it absorbed well and easy. The next day, I woke up to a well hydrated, moist face. This product does what it claims to do! I find myself using this especially for colder months when my skin needs more hydration.

Overall, this product is just okay for me. I might finish the jar –its moisturizing ability is good after all. However, I wouldn’t repurchase this.

I was turned off by fraction due to its smell. I prefer my products to be mildly scented. I do recommend this to people with dry skin and for those who are not easily bothered by products’ scent.
