[REVIEW] New 2017 Skinfood Peach Cotton Multi Finish Powder

Skinfood Peach Cotton Multi Finish Powder Review:

I’ve been looking for a finishing powder that doesn’t leave a pigment that could change my base makeup’s color. A problem I’ve had with my past powders is that they seem to clog my pores and that they don’t do much when it comes to oil control. When I saw this Peach Cotton Multi Finish Powder, I confused with the past product of Skinfood – the Peach Sake Silky Finish Powder – only to find out that this is the newer version that the brand released just this year. Deciding to try Skinfood’s Peach Cotton Multi Finish Powder really did save my skin and solve most of my concerns, find out how and why!

Claims:

This powder is a renewal of Skinfood’s Peach Sake Silky Finish Powder. The new finishing powder claims to control excessive sebum and calm skin troubles.

This powder comes in a peach colored, round tub. It has a cotton puff, where you can easily slip your fingers into the band for an easy application. The product is handy and can be carried inside a bag or makeup pouch with no hassle since it’s quite small.

The powder itself is smooth when applied, and it instantly gives a matte texture when spread and blended. The fragrance of this powder is definitely a favorite of mine! It gives off a sweet, peachy scent that smells fresh on your face.

I usually apply this after I putting on bb cream and concealer, and it fortunately doesn’t add any unnecessary color to my base makeup. I was hesitant at first and I had doubts since the color of the powder is extremely white, so I thought that it would make my face look too pale.

But luckily, its color is almost transparent, with just a hint of white when blended. This color doesn’t make the face look pale but instead it helps in making the face look bright and fresh!

I’ve been using this product for around 3 weeks now, and it’s especially helpful whenever I go out since it keeps my face and my makeup looking fresh. I only need to reapply this product once or twice during the whole day, because it really does its job well in giving a matte finish and controlling sebum on my face. With that said, I don’t think drying should be a worry since the peach extract prevents drying and alleviate skin problems, too!

I would definitely repurchase this product since I fell in love with the sweet, peachy scent and it helps control the sebum on my face without drying it. This product can be used by those with oily skin like me, and for those who don’t want or have no time to retouch multiple times throughout the day.
