Goodal Phyto Wash Yerba Mate Bubble Peeling Review

[Review] Goodal Phyto Wash Yerba Mate Bubble Peeling

I originally received this as a one-time use sample, and just after one use I was hooked so I purchased Goodal Phyto Wash Yerba Mate Bubble Peeling on a whim. My skin immediately felt baby soft and smooth, and I always like investing in a product that shows me instant results. I was intrigued by yerba mate as an ingredient and by the formulation, which transforms from a clear serum to a foamy peel. Goodal as a brand also interested me because the focus is on natural beauty and natural ingredients in an effective skincare form.

Goodal Phyto Wash Yerba Mate Bubble Peeling Review:

I have been using the Goodal Phyto Wash Yerba Mate Bubbling Peel for 2 years, and although it is slightly pricey it has lasted me a very long time because a little bit of product truly goes a long way. I use this exfoliating peel once a week along with my usual double cleansing method, although it can be used up to twice a week maximum, as to avoid over-exfoliating.

The packaging is nice but the pump is a little messy because a little bit of product leaks and spills after each use. The fragrance is very mild and not overpowering, which is perfect for those with sensitive skin types. The texture is my absolute favorite part of the product because it starts off as a creamy serum but after a minute, it transforms into a gentle yet effective frothy and bubbly formula.

Goodal Phyto Wash Yerba Mate Bubble Peeling Review

After using this product, my skin gets a gentle exfoliation. I definitely see and feel an improvement in my skin texture immediately with each use. My results were short lasting though and I feel this bubbling peel product doesn’t give permanent results.

But, it is very fun to use, so if you are looking for a cool new product that bubbles up, this is a fun one to try out! This product is overall efficacious but also at a heftier price point than other exfoliating products, so in the future I will stick with my other exfoliators.

I would recommend this for all skin types, especially sensitive and acne-prone skin types. For those with sensitive skin, this product is ideal because there are no adverse reactions such as irritation, redness, or skin peeling. Still, I would not repurchase this because of the heftier price point, and the fact that this product delivers the same results as an inexpensive exfoliating face scrub.

Although my skin felt very smooth immediately, the results were not very long lasting and I did not notice any Yerba Mate anti-aging benefits in the long term. Although the product is relaxing and gentle to use, it did not brighten my complexion or truly detoxify my skin.
