Don’t you just love online shopping? Regardless of your busy schedule, you can buy stuff with a flick of your hands. And for people like me who lives in an almost isolated country (okay that’s a bit of an exaggeration) online shopping is our best friend in keeping us up-to-date to what’s yay and nay when it comes to beauty. One thing I sure don’t like about it is the fact that I have to pay for shipping fee so what I do is just fill my cart with the most random stuff just so I could qualify with free shipping. And that, my beauty friends, is the reason behind as to how I own a Holika Holika After Mask Sheet.
According to what is written on the pack it is a fatigue recovery mask sheet for tired skin after travelling. Basically this sheet promotes brightening.
Water, Glycerin, Alcohol, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Allantoin, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance, Sodium Hyaluronate, Trehalose, Solanum Lycopersicum (Tomato) Fruit Extract, Actinidia Chinensis (Kiwi) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Extract, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract.
How to use:
- Arrange skin texture with toner after wash.
- Fit mask sheet to face.
- After 15-20 minutes, take off the mask and light pat liquid residue for absorption.
- Avoid contact with eyes.

Holika Holika After Mask Sheet Taking a Trip Review:
While I am quite familiar with Holika Holika, I haven’t personally tried any of their products. For some reason, I have never been interested in any of their products before. Until one day, I just had to fill my cart to qualify free shipping fee, I chanced upon these cute masks and they were quite cheap so I thought, why not?
Holika Holika has a before and after mask series and I bought one of each kind. I got the before a date and after taking a trip variants. Being obsessed about anything that is brightening, I first used the after taking a trip sheet.
I appreciate the fact that Holika Holika has listed the ingredients in English because it is nice to know what stuff comes in contact with your skin. The list seemed safe because most are just fruit extracts.
I honestly didn’t expect much from this mask but as I opened it, my nose is thrilled by the beautiful scent it has. I love floral scents in general but I like them fresh and light and that is exactly what I am getting from this mask.
It smells like perfume and I was easily reminded of a Banana Republic perfume that I used before. It smells so good I couldn’t stop sniffing the pack. This has got to be the best smelling mask I have encounter, ever.
The scent changed the game and now I am excited about the mask! And then there’s the fit. It was loose in all places –sheet itself is too big even on my big face, eye and lip cut are too big too! I got really disappointed but wore it anyway.
Between 5-10 minutes, my face started to get tingling sensations. I tried to ignore but it kept on for about a minute or two. I seriously wanted to take it off but since the itch has gone, I let it sit until fully dried.
It didn’t take long to dry because this product only contains 18ml of essence which is a little less than usual. I was surprised when I took of the mask because Holy Molly! My face looked really fresh and glowing. This product works! I honestly didn’t think that I would get any brightening with this product but it really does what it claims to do.
The mixed fruit extracts must have created really good symphony my face literally looked a lot better! I really love this mask and highly recommend it to everyone. The essence feels really light; it doesn’t give you sticky feeling of any sort. I would definitely repurchase (I am currently looking for seller of this product because it is out of stock).
