Human Nature Natural Moisturizing Shampoo Mandarin Fresh Review:

Background of the brand:

Human Heart Nature is a Filipino brand that is slowly gaining attention both locally and internationally. This brand asserts that they produce genuinely natural and organic products which pretty much explain how they were hailed as the first Filipino Company to receive a Cruelty-free recognition from PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals). Apart from being one of the largest brands that produces organic personal and beauty care, they are also known to be selling them at a relatively cheap price!

If there’s a contest for a having the worst hair ever, I believe I would have make it to the top! You see, my hair is really problematic. Like, REALLY. It is very much damaged due to chemical treatments and constant hair dyeing. In addition, I get serious hair fall so I avoid brushing my hair as much as possible, would you believe that I actually go through a day without combing my hair? I have tried a lot of shampoo, conditioners and hair packs –from Western brands to popular Tsubaki Damage Care Set not to mention Sulfate-free products unfortunately, for me, nothing seemed to have improved my hair condition so I’m always on the lookout for hair products that would work wonders on my hair. It was only a matter of time that I considered trying a local product –Human Nature Natural Moisturizing Shampoo Mandarin Fresh.

Human Nature Natural Moisturizing Shampoo Mandarin Fresh Review:

Human Nature Natural Moisturizing Shampoo Mandarin Fresh is housed in a flip-top plastic bottle which feels cheap honestly but I wouldn’t complain considering its price. As I open the bottle, my nose is greeted by a strong mandarin scent (bit gingery to me as well). The scent is refreshing and energizing, I actually love it.

It’s definitely a scent that I would keep around for a shower gel; as for a hair product, that, I am not sure of. Truth be told, I was a bit hesitant to get this product when I sniffed it at the store. It smelt really strong (but good) I was worried it would turn sour or something on my hair at the end of the day; I mean, I live in a country which experiences summer all year round so I am very much meticulous when it comes to scents.

Human Nature Natural Moisturizing Shampoo Mandarin Fresh Review

This shampoo is on the runny side which is contrary to what I am used to, shampoos are usually thick right? As I lather the product on my tresses, it felt different as well!  Human Heart Nature Natural Moisturizing Shampoo doesn’t foam as much as my old shampoos –I was actually a bit worried that it won’t be able to cleanse my hair well.

Human Nature Natural Moisturizing Shampoo Mandarin Fresh Review

Since this shampoo doesn’t foam, it took lesser time to rinse my hair. I honestly couldn’t tell any difference with my hair except that it smells really good. Then it started to dry and then I noticed that my hair seemed more tame than usual. It felt nice and soft too!

I now appreciate that it doesn’t lather as much as it was able to cleanse my hair without actually drying it. I also love how it made my hair look and feel healthy and naturally bouncy! It made the texture of my hair almost similar to whenever I blow-dried my hair. Although this shampoo seems pretty much hair-friendly, I still opt to shampoo my hair every other day or only when I feel that it needs real cleansing.

Overall, I love Human Nature Natural Moisturizing Shampoo and I would have to say that this is by far the best shampoo that I have used. My hair seems to enjoy all that natural ingredients so much I have actually repurchased this already! I would also like to disclose that I have tried the Lush Vanilla variant in this shampoo line first but I like this variant better because of the fresh scent. I highly recommend this shampoo to everyone especially people with chemically treated, dry and damaged hair.
