[REVIEW] SK-II Facial Treatment Clear Lotion

SK-II Facial Treatment Clear Lotion Review

SK-II Facial Treatment Clear Lotion Review:

SK-II Facial Treatment Clear Lotion is a purifying toning lotion that is to be used as your final step after cleansing to prep your skin for the next steps in your skin care routine. It lightly exfoliates as it helps to remove residual impurities and dead skin cells while still giving the hydration that your skin needs. This lotion contains a mix AHA (Lactic Acid), BHA (Salicylic Acid) and of course SK-II’s exclusive ingredient, which is the Pitera™ that is packed with vitamins, amino acids and minerals.

[REVIEW] Albion Skin Conditioner Essential

Albion Skin Conditioner Essential Review

Albion Skin Conditioner Essential Review:

I must admit, I’m not as well versed in Japanese skincare as I am in Korean. I follow a Taiwanese Youtuber who swears by Albion products, so when I was in Taipei I went to an Albion counter and did some damage. It’s by no means a cheap product, at around $100USD/$126CAD for the 330ml bottle, but I justify it in my mind that it’s still cheaper than SK-II.

I love the service at department stores in Asia, they treat you like royalty even if you’re buying a piece of lint from them. Combine the good service plus the things I’ve heard about it, I decided to buy 2 bottles and a box of the sheet masks. They were having an event where when you buy the big bottle (330ml), you get a tester kit. The tester kit is very generous, with a bottle of the lotion, two 27ml bottles of the skin conditioner, and a nozzle spray so you can use it on the go.

[REVIEW] Koji Dolly Wink Pencil Eyecolor Cream Lame

Koji Dolly Wink Pencil Eyecolor Cream Lame Review

Koji Dolly Wink Pencil Eyecolor Cream Lame Review:

Do you know Tsubasa Masuwaka? Or maybe are you a big fan of her, just like me? If you love J-Beauty trends, you may know her. In case you haven’t known yet, Tsubasa Masuwaka is a model, singer and most famous Gyaru icon from Japan. And she is a creator of the popular beauty brands Candy Doll and Dolly Wink as well. For me, she is like a magnet that pull me to try Japanese makeup. That’s why I didn’t have to think twice to buy her makeup line both from Candy Doll and Dolly Wink. But don’t judge me merely as a crazy-fanatic fan of her because, actually, most (or I guess all) of cosmetics that produced by Tsubasa have great qualities and never disappointed me. So, what’s the problem?

Well, as mentioned that I love Dolly Wink products, so when I saw Dolly Wink Pencil Eyecolor Cream Lame for the first time, it didn’t take a long time until I bought one. Simply, since I’m obsessed with big and cute eyes (because I don’t have that, LOL) and this product promised me the same things. In addition, honestly I have repurchased this eyeliner a few months ago after my first one was run out.  Yes, this is actually my second time bought this product. Now, let’s find out why I like Dolly Wink Pencil Eyecolor Cream Lame a lot.

[REVIEW] SK-II Facial Treatment Essence

SK-II Facial Treatment Essence Review

SK-II Facial Treatment Essence Review:

When talking about first treatment essence, the brand SK-II would definitely come to mind as it was one of the earlier skincare brands to carry FTE under its wings. SK-II is a luxury brand and there are a lot of glowing (pun intended) reviews about its Facial Treatment Essence (some even call it ‘Miracle Water’ or ‘Miracle Potion’), that claims to have more than 90% Pitera™. If you don’t already know, Pitera™ is SK-II’s signature natural bio-ingredient that is packed with vitamins, amino acids and minerals that will aid in transforming your skin to crystal clear, as well as boosting skin’s texture, radiance and firmness.

I first got this FTE from the SK-II Pitera™ Welcome Set, which also includes a mini size of SK-II Facial Treatment Clear Lotion and SK-II R.N.A Power Radical New Age Cream. It is a great value for money trial set for those who wants to get a taste of the SK-II world, but not quite yet ready to splurge on their full-sized products.

[REVIEW] Hada Labo Gokujyun Cleansing Oil

Hada Labo Gokujyun Cleansing Oil Review

Hada Labo Gokujyun Cleansing Oil Review:

Boasting a short ingredients list and a hefty amount of product at a relatively affordable price, I was quite intrigued with this cleansing oil. So when there was a sale, I immediately decided to pick it up as I generally have had no issues with olive oil-based first cleansers in the past. So, how did it fare?

[Review] Shiseido White Lucent Power Brightening Mask

Shiseido White Lucent Power Brightening Mask Sheet Review

Shiseido White Lucent Power Brightening Mask Review:

Sephora offered a special Shiseido reward in May for their Insider Program, which included various Shiseido sun and skincare samples to try. I use their SPF 50 sunscreen and was interested in trying their face masks. According to the brand, this mask is inspired by iontophoresis, which is a beauty treatment that saturates skin with a generous amount of brightening ingredients.

[Review] Bifesta Brightening Cleansing Lotion

Bifesta Brightening Cleansing Lotion Review

Bifesta Brightening Cleansing Lotion Review:

I had once tried a deluxe sample of this without  knowing it was this product. It is one of the most famous cleansing waters around (although it’s called a lotion it’s really not very lotion-like). Without knowing I had already tried this once, I got my hands on the Hello Kitty version of it!

I wasn’t originally a big Hello Kitty fan but when I went to a place called Hello Kitty Island (think of it as a Hello Kitty museum) I started valuing her for all that she has done for women. I mean, I already liked her friend Cinnamoroll, so it’s not that I disliked the cat! I just didn’t care much about the cat itself.

Regardless, this Hello Kitty version is exclusive to Korea (for some reason) but the product inside is the classic Bifesta “blue bottle” brightening cleansing lotion of the same name (also known as bright up cleansing lotion).

[Review] Tatcha Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil

Tatcha Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil Review

Tatcha Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil Review:

A Sephora clerk used this product on me when I asked her to create a daily K-Beauty regiment for me to follow that was 4-5 steps. This was the first step in the regiment, which was for cleansing my skin and removing makeup. It serves as the “double cleanse” step that one takes in a K-Beauty routine. This was one of my favorite items she used on me during the service and I purchased it because I loved the texture and scent.
