Tosowoong Enzyme Powder Wash Review:

A few months ago, every forum, every chat board or social network were buzzing about this Tosowoong Enzyme Powder Wash. After reading ingredients list, I said NO. “There’s no way in he…I would put SLS or denatured alcohol on my face. Heck NO! But after I had read some trusted reviews about really convenient pH of 5.5 of this cleanser, I decided to give it a try. After all, it’s the cost of less than 10$ so it wouldn’t move the Earth towards black hole if it didn’t work. So, here we go.

[Review] Innisfree Bija Trouble Cleansing Gel

[Review] Innisfree Bija Trouble Cleansing Gel

Innisfree Bija Trouble Cleansing Gel Review:

In my initial search online for low pH second cleansers, I found this particular product from Innisfree to be recommended quite a few times, especially for those with sensitive skin. With reviews of mentioning how gentle and non-irritating it was (despite containing salicylic acid!), I definitely had high hopes for it. Thus, after having it on my wishlist for awhile, I finally caved. So the question is: did it live up to my lofty expectations?

[Review] COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser

[Review] COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser

COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser Review:

I did not have a skin routine (believe me I never had a proper moisturizer and cleansed my face with soap and I am 22 years old ) until end of 2016 when I realized that I had horrible skin and it will continue to get worse if I don’t take care of myself. I was simply looking for a basic and affordable cleanser. I was quite sick of overpriced western beauty products in Australia. This was my entry into k-beauty which I am now a big fan of.

I have heard about COSRX brand from pretty much everyone including Charlotte Cho of Sokoglam and how affordable, simple and yet effective it was. Boom, it was quite affordable, like $11 AUD. Researching further into COSRX and their product line, I found that their prices were good as well as pretty much all of their products had good reviews. Also, I wanted to stick to one brand for developing my basic skincare routine.

Etude House SoonJung pH 6.5 Whip Cleanser Review:

I have been on a small mission of evaluating the products of the Etude House Soon Jung collection. Since they are focused on sensitive skin treatment, healing, prevention, and all sorts of stuff, I can’t just change the products and decide on spot whether they work or not! So, although these reviews are taking longer than a normal product would, they are letting me know with all accuracy what works from this collection or not.

[Review] Dewytree The Clean Lab AC DEW FOAM Cleanser

[Review] Dewytree The Clean Lab AC DEW FOAM Cleanser

Dewytree The Clean Lab AC DEW FOAM Cleanser Review:

What attracted me to this product was obviously the package. It’s baby pink, and for some reason that seems so attractive to me when it comes to skin care! Then, I read the claims they made and felt like I really wanted to try it. Being a cleanser especially for sensitive skins, it matches what I’ve been currently using as most of my skin care. And even matches the time of the year, as the pollution is getting serious and it’s taking a toll on my skin! Also, I personally like giving some love to smaller brands, so please do read this review and find out if this is worth it.

[Review] Etude House SOON JUNG pH5.5 Relief Toner

[Review] Etude House SOON JUNG pH5.5 Relief Toner

Etude House SOON JUNG pH5.5 Relief Toner was purchased by Cosmeperks for review purposes.

Etude House recently launched the SOON JUNG collection, allegedly from the best year ever (I might have been born in) 1988! It focuses on what is currently the biggest trend in Korean skin care – damage healing and care.

This collection came just in time for the fine dust pollution season, as for the past couple of weeks the pollution has been quite severe. And this collection’s purpose is exactly to help you restore your skin to its whole greatness while at the same time protecting it in the long term. So, of course we start at the beginning and use the Etude House SOON JUNG pH5.5 Relief Toner first!

Looking for a mild toner to use post-cleansing to ensure minimal residue (from makeup, sunscreen, etc) is left, I was recommended Acwell Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner by a friend.
