The Face Shop Dual Veil Concealer V201 Apricot Beige Review:
First time I knew about The Face Shop Dual Veil Coscealer after watching a video of Ssin-nim (popular Korean youtuber). She said that this product has great coverage and good texture. So, I asked Mr. Google to find more about this concealer and found many good reviews afterwards. I was tempted with the fact that this concealer has been the best among high-end brands on Get It Beauty too.
So, I bought mine and picked the shade V201 in Apricot Beige. By the way, I didn’t plan to get this product in Trolls edition because the original version has the same package and shade, the difference is only on the Trolls illustrations. Since the original version was out of stock, so I got mine in Trolls edition, like a cute bonus for me, LOL. Now, without too much bla bla bla, let’s jump to the review!
♥ The perfect duo of liquid and cream stick concealer for flawless skin

♥ Contains Perfect Seed which is a complex of natural origin ingredients (Cloudberry Seed Extract, Hawaiian Clay, Chamomile Flower Water). It makes skin smooth and bright by improving skin tone, texture and radiance.
( The Face Shop Concealer Dual Veil is the most popular concealer in Korea. It ranked No.1 in a beauty TV show Get It Beauty in their blind test section beating many other high end brands such as Clinique, Lara Mercier, Bobbi Brown and Benefit )

The Face Shop Dual Veil Concealer V201 Apricot Beige Review:
This concealer is super affordable since it contains two types of concealer, liquid and stick, in one package. It’s like you make a deal with buy 1 get 1 product. Besides, The Face Shop makes Dual Veil concealer in travel friendly packaging, it won’t spend too much space in your pouch. If you get this product in Trolls or Kakao Friends edition, you’ll get a bonus from their cute packaging.
The concealer is stored in a sturdy plastic tube with double sides. The tube itself is boxed safely in a cardboard with complete information about the product in English and Korean, though the letters is super tiny, LOL. For the limited Trolls edition, the shade V201 – Apricot Beige comes with our lovely DJ Suki, accidentally my favorite character from Trolls.
On the upper side, if you open the cap you will find the stick concealer. It is labeled as cover stick and has a shape like our usual lipstick. If you aren’t familiar with stick concealer, you may think it’s a little bit weird but actually the bullet is sturdy enough and easy to be applied.
Move to the second type concealer in the bottom side. You need to twist up the center of the tube to pull the wand and get the liquid concealer. For the liquid concealer, it has a doe-foot applicator with soft bristles. The thing I like is not too much product adhered on the bristles, so it helps me to control the amount of the product I want to apply.
I appreciate The Face Shop because they provide us with four different colors from the lightest to the darkest shade. Any skintone can choose the best shade for them. I own the shade V201 which is Apricot Beige. Actually I wanted to buy the shade Neutral Beige (N109) but it was sold out, so I paid for this shade.
Take a look at the swatches on my hand, Apricot Beige is natural beige with a slight of yellow color, but it could be blended very well and looks natural on my cool undertone skin. The stick concealer has a darker color than the liquid one. So, if you want to buy this concealer, it’s better to match your skintone with the stick concealer.
The two concealers have different functions. Cover stick concealer is perfect to cover blemishes or dark spots. It creates a great layer of coverage with its weightless texture. I really like the consistency of this cover stick concealer.
It is creamy, easy to be blended and glides smoothly on my skin. The coverage is medium to high and it’s buildable. Since the texture is lightweight so it won’t look too heavy even when you apply it over your foundation. This is one of the best stick concealer I’ve ever tried so far.
Meanwhile the liquid concealer is for larger area coverage, best for brightening our under eyes area. It also can be used for highlighter. The coverage is slightly lighter than the cover stick. It is sheer to medium coverage. Like the cover stick concealer, the liquid one has lightweight texture and blends very easily.
It doesn’t feel clumpy when applied nor creased after hours. If you have a serious problem with dark circle eyes, use the stick concealer first then layer with the liquid one. Don’t worry, as the lightweight texture it won’t feel heavy on your makeup.
Both of cover stick and liquid concealer have satin finish, almost matte but still moist. The cover stick maybe a little bit too matte and dry on dry patches, but as long as you moisten your face well, it’s not a problem anymore.
But overall, this product doesn’t make my skin look drier on the dry area or too oily on my T-zone. I’m being happier too since the staying power is pretty good. It lasts about 4-5 hours before the coverage fading away.
I love that this product could be blended very naturally on my skin. I like applying this concealer after foundation or BB cream and use my fingertip to blend it out. If you want a super natural makeup look, you could use this concealer alone without foundie. The result it gives is so natural but good enough to create a flawless look.
I totally fall in love with The Face Shop Dual Veil Concealer. And I guess anyone will like this product too. Both of the concealer do their jobs very well. They have lightweight and blendable texture with smooth and natural result. The coverage is great too, as great as its staying power.
Moreover, it comes in affordable price, a best deal to get two types of concealer in one price. What’s not to love! Well, the cons is probably about its strong floral scents (in case your nose is too sensitive). But overall, I do enjoy this product and claim it as my HG concealer right now. If you believe me, you should try it too!
