[Review] New The SAEM Eco Soul Essence Cushion All Cover SPF50+ PA++++

The SAEM Eco Soul Essence Cushion All Cover SPF50+ PA++++ Review:

I was looking for a cushion that would be hydrating to my skin and light but with good coverage, since summer is coming up. The price seemed kind of reasonable for its claims( 18 dollars) and it’s supposed to have skincare effects too, so why not; Also, lately I’ve been obsessed with the The SAEM (only because of SM entertainment though), so I thought I would give this a go.

Claims:

This product claims to convey dense moisture to the skin and gives “a moist and comfortable skin care effect“. It is supposed to give a glowing cover from skin troubles like acne, irritation or wrinkles. It is also supposed to be a high coverage foundation for all skin types.

The SAEM Eco Soul Essence Cushion All Cover Review

While opening the package, I was very excited. It’s simple but cute and appealing. The size is great, it’s not a small compact that will last you just 10 uses and it isn’t too big so that you won’t be able to carry it around with you in your makeup pouch.

It has a distinct smell, that lightly stays on your skin as you wear the foundation. It smells like those lemon wipes that they give you at restaurants to clean your hands.. Not in a good way.

The SAEM Eco Soul Essence Cushion All Cover Review

Everything was going great until I actually tried the product. This foundation is supposed to be moisturizing however, this made my face look like I just sprayed half a bottle of mist on it. I know it is supposed to have a moisturizing effect but this is way too much. Not just for my liking but for everyone.

It’s not appealing. If you like the sweaty-face look, then this is a cushion you’ll love. I tried using some setting powder on top and it got even worse. It instantly became cake-y; and that wouldn’t go away. I tried this product for 4 days straight at a humid climate with medium temperatures (18-27 degrees Celsius).

After approximately 40 minutes, I checked my face at a mirror and the foundation had completely disappeared (all 4 of the days). I’m still not sure if it became one with my skin or if it simply disappeared. As for the coverage, it is definitely not high coverage, more like low coverage and it’s not buildable. It hardly covered some red spots on my face and did not made my complexion even.

Also, it broke me out; and almost no product breaks out my skin so if you have sensitive skin, you definitely should avoid this.

I will definitely not repurchase this and I will probably not continue using it. This product can be useful for you only if your skin has tiny pores, is acne free and normal to dry. I would recommend using it in the winter.
