[REVIEW] Colourpop X My Little Pony Shadow Palette

Colourpop X My Little Pony Shadow Palette was purchased by Cosmeperks.

When talking about eyeshadow palette, I prefer western brands than Asian brands. Personally I think that western brands usually have more pigmented eyeshadows. They also make a lot of shades, from natural colors to the popping bright ones, from matte to sparkling finish. So, when I got the chance to try this shadow palette out, I immediately said YES!

On last October Colourpop brought us a vintage My Little Pony collection. One of the product in the line is Colourpop X My Little Pony Shadow Palette that comes in an adorable packaging (the one that can not be denied by every girl’s eyes). Who can refuse this cutest palette? Are you sure want to keep your money and turn around?

If you are still hesitant to buy the Colourpop X My Little Pony Shadow Palette, I will help you to decide in this review. So, let’s meet the cutest palette!

[REVIEW] The Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Toner

[REVIEW] The Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Toner

The Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Toner Review:

Even though I hadn’t read many good reviews about the Saem, I was still curious to try some of their products and so when I needed a new toner I decided to try this one out. My reasons for picking this toner aren’t that great – I wanted to try it because of “harakeke” which is a unique flax from New Zealand. It was the first time I’d seen a product with this particular plant, that and the green bottle looked so fresh, simple and well just appealing to me.

I’ll admit it’s not the best reason to try something out, but I suppose thinking the product looks good or has unique ingredients often attracts people to them, right? Or maybe it’s just me who falls for things like that?

ACWELL Traditional Grain Syrup Mugwort Mask Review:

Having had a pleasant experience with the Acwell Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner in the past, when I saw a deal on this range of sheet masks from ACWELL, I immediately looked up the ingredients before eagerly deciding to purchase them through a friend.

[REVIEW] LaFORLAB Red Spot Repair Cream

[REVIEW] LaFORLAB Red Spot Repair Cream

LaFORLAB Red Spot Repair Cream Review:

I tried this product once for free and then I liked the product so much that I went on and bought it myself. At the time I used it a bit on-and-off since I wanted to try several stuff. Then when I bought it I tried it until I finished the whole pack, and I think I might want it again? What sorcery is this?? I have to say right of the hook that it’s not a cheap product for its size, but I also have to say it’s everything I expected of the Skinfood Fresh Apple cream, and more!

It’s a brand that specializes in sensitive skin, and this is part of a collection that specializes in acne skin. This collection has natural botanical extracts and focuses on red spots – the bar was set really high.

[REVIEW] Etude House Pure Jelly Multi Balm aka Genie Multi Balm

[REVIEW] Etude House Pure Jelly Multi Balm aka Genie Multi Balm

Etude House Pure Jelly Multi Balm was purchased by Cosmeperks.

About two months ago one of our lovely brand released two multifunction products to resolve any skin problem. New from Etude House, Pure Jelly Multi Balm and Pure Drop Multi Oil. These products supposed to be one solution products that can be used from crown to toe to give skin instant moisturizing effect and keep it healthy without feeling sticky. They could be mixed with other products or used alone as well. Sounds very interesting, doesn’t it? One product in your hand to resolve all skin problems, like a genie. “Tell Genie Multi Balm about your skin problems.” Haha!

At first, I was interested with Pure Drop Multi Oil. It should be good to be a topper for my lipstick or lip tint. But after watching a review from Korean Youtuber, I thought Pure Jelly Multi Balm is more recommended and easier to use. I also found that the Multi Balm could be used to fix our eye makeup. So, I turned around and chose the Multi Balm (sorry, Multi Oil!)

Well, now let’s jump to the review and find how genie Multi Balm grant my wish!

[REVIEW] The Ordinary Vitamin C 23% Suspension + 2% HA Spheres

[REVIEW] The Ordinary Vitamin C 23% Suspension + 2% HA Spheres

The Ordinary Vitamin C 23% Suspension + 2% HA Spheres Review:

When talking about anti-aging skincare ingredients, vitamin C is definitely one of the most popular and effective ingredients that we can incorporate in our routine. It is packed with antioxidant, helps with skin ageing, aids in lightening pigmentations as well as overall brightening of the skin complexion.

My first ever vitamin C product was the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop. The reason I chose this product is because I wanted a gentle vitamin C formula to introduce to my skin. After 6 months of using it, I felt like I was ready to move on to a stronger and more potent formula to tackle some pigmentation. And after reading lots of reviews, I decided to choose The Ordinary Vitamin C 23% Suspension for its stable formula and the unbeatable price point.

But a lot of people complained aboout the product’s texture and strong stinging sensation they get from this. Some even reacted badly towards this! So lets see if my experience and opinion as others are the same or not.

[REVIEW] Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for Oily Acne-prone Skin

[REVIEW] Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for Oily Acne-prone Skin

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for Oily Acne-prone Skin Review:

When something is causing a hype, we readily jump into the bandwagon and that’s how it’s been for who knows how long. Basically, we take the words of other people on something. If the majority claims that a product is HG-worthy, then it must be. If everybody’s yapping about something, you instantly wanna try it too! Sadly for skincare, it’s never predictable. What may be astounding to others may not make sense to you. Sometimes you want to agree with the crowd but you just can’t because you don’t get the hype at all.

If there’s one thing though, that I entirely embrace and truly thank for, aside from wearing sunscreen, is the advice of double cleansing. I am never without double cleansing since I realize how good it is for the skin! Needless to say, I always have something for double cleansing and recently, I got Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water because I’ve been seeing it on other people’s feed.

[REVIEW] New 2017 Skinfood Royal Honey Propolis Enrich Sleeping Pack

[REVIEW] New 2017 Skinfood Royal Honey Propolis Enrich Sleeping Pack

Skinfood Royal Honey Propolis Enrich Sleeping Mask was purchased by Cosmeperks.

At the exact time when the weather started becoming colder and drier, and my skin started aging, I got lucky enough that Skinfood released this new product for their honey propolis collection! My skin particularly likes honey based products, and winter in Korea is terribly dry. It was just a bunch of happy coincidences when it came to the release of this product. So whereas Skinfood products are usually a hit or miss with my skin, I have now been using it for 1 month without rest and hope my review answers any question you might have!

[REVIEW] TIAM My Signature C Source

[REVIEW] TIAM My Signature C Source

Tiam My Signature C Source Review:

I have, for nearly 2 years now, been incorporating a vitamin C serum in both my daily and nightly skincare routine. However, the serum(s) that I used only contained a 5% maximum concentration of vitamin C and it was quite expensive for a small amount. I did more research in the blogosphere and finally decided to give this much talked about serum a shot. This baby here contains a 20% concentration of vitamin C and was much cheaper! You don’t have to tell me twice. On the day it arrived, I started using it and have been very happy with the results.

This product used to be known as the O.S.T. C20 serum and Tiam (the company that produces the serum) is part of the Cosrx family. Now, I have a lot of faith in the entire Cosrx products line and so unsurprisingly, this blind faith extended to Tiam as well. I was not disappointed. This faint citrus scented serum has become my favourite part of my skincare routine, not only because I love the smell of oranges but mainly because it has actually helped lighten some of the scarring I had from blemishes around my chin area (the result of being a woman and suffering through hormonal blemishes during that time of the month).
