[REVIEW] New COSRX Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser | 2017 Version

COSRX Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser Review

COSRX Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser Review:

If you’re someone with oily and acne-prone skin, you would probably be well acquainted with Salicylic Acid. But for the sake of those who are new to it, it is a powerful peeling agent. It is a form of beta hydroxyl acid thus making it a perfect component for deep cleansing and exfoliation!

I have long used salicylic acid infused cleansers, naturally, COSRX Salicylic Acid Cleanser peak my curiosity but I skipped it because I’ve read that it is too drying. Recently, however, they have released a reformulated cleanser. It is now milder, apparently so mild that you can use it every day. I don’t know about you but every bits of grease in me is tingling with joy and excitement!

[REVIEW] Graymelin Pure 100% Beta-Glucan

Graymelin Pure 100% Beta-glucan Review

Graymelin Pure 100% Beta-glucan Review:

For all of you my fellow rosaceans, you know how the fight is tough and constant. We are in everlasting quest for some immuno-boosters and any kind of skin shields. Thus, when someone offers you pure beta-glucan for your skin, you will not pass on it, I am sure. So neither did I.

Graymelin is Korean indie skin care brand praised by many popular bloggers. Graymelin call themselves Skin’s Beauty Natural Cosmetics Brand and they tend to deliver. Apothecary chic as someone named them, or “the next big thing”. This product is around for at least couple of years, but always fresh and intriguing to write about.

[REVIEW] Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Oil

Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Oil Review

Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Oil Review:

Facial oil is like a luxurious skincare for some people, including me. It is a highly concentrated product and in average, it comes in a little bit more expensive prices than usual moisturizer cream or serum. I guess that’s very reasonable because facial oils have higher benefits that you can’t get from your daily face cream. While a moisturizer cream is a mixture of water and oil, facial oils provide a higher concentrated oil to moisten our skin and repair skin’s barrier to keep it healthy. What’s more, you just need a very small amount of facial oil applied on your entire face, where you may need 3 or more times as much from your face cream.

For an oily-combi skin like mine, facial oil is not a must-have item in my skincare regime. My skin can produce more than enough oil by itself, so why do I have to buy a pricey facial oil? But, back to this early year, my skin became very very dehydrated and dry after suffered from awful break out (as an effect of trying western skincare from a certain brand). I was so desperate for a couple of months and finally decided to have one of facial oil to resolve my skin’s problem and bring my normal skin condition back. So yeah, this is my very first facial oil, The Green Tea Seed Oil from my favorite brand, Innisfree.

[REVIEW] Benton Papaya-D Sun Cream SPF38 PA+++

Benton Papaya-D Sun Cream SPF38 PA+++ Review

Benton Papaya-D Sun Cream SPF38 PA+++ Review:

I debated whether to write a review about this product or not. Lots of you have already read the reviews for this cream, and many of you have tried it, since Benton is a relatively big name in the AB community. But since I had more information on this sun cream (because at this point Benton didn’t release only this sun cream but also another, stronger one) I thought I should still review it. Note that this is a review for the Papaya-D sun cream, D stands for Daily. So, honestly the low SPF and PA didn’t really surprise me, and I purchased the product anyway.

[REVIEW] Mediheal Collagen Impact Essential Mask

Mediheal Collagen Impact Essential Mask Review

Mediheal Collagen Impact Essential Mask Review:

I am acquainted with Mediheal as a brand but I have never tried anything from them before. I find them very similar to Leaders masks, packaging-wise but I don’t have the slightest idea how their products perform. While most of the reviews I’ve read about them are good, I just couldn’t find myself getting them because they don’t appeal as much to me. Finally, I was able to try some of their mask when I did mask-swap with my bestie. She’s yapping on how much she liked Mediheal Collagen Impact Essential mask so I got excited as well to try my first ever Mediheal mask!

[REVIEW] THE FACE SHOP Brow Lasting Ink Pen in shade 01 Light Brown

THE FACE SHOP Brow Lasting Ink Pen in shade 01 Light Brown Review

THE FACE SHOP Brow Lasting Ink Pen in shade 01 Light Brown Review:

I once went on an eyebrow product shopping spree, since I had realized I had one and didn’t really know how to draw my eyebrows! I decided to try many different products from a mascara to a pencil to a stamp and finally, a.. pen? With all these not-so-common products Korea has to offer- like an eyebrow peel off tint for example, I don’t know why this surprised me so much.

Now, I don’t know about you, but for me, eyebrows are definitely not an easy business. When I realized I could just use a marker to get the job done, I felt like there’s finally hope! I can make my right eyebrow look just like my left one in just one move! Needless to say, I didn’t bother checking the products claims, ingredients or.. basically anything except for a photo of it, before purchasing it. There was no shade light enough for my eyebrows but that didn’t matter. Knowing how easy to use an actual marker is, all I wanted was this product on my eyebrows! :3

[REVIEW] A’Pieu Madecassoside Cream

Apieu Madecassoside Cream Review

A’Pieu Madecassoside Cream Review:

With the presence of demand for madecassoside/centella asiatica-based products, it was hardly surprising to see so many skincare brands churning out some enticing items. And for someone who has skin on the more sensitive spectrum, I was definitely intrigued at the soothing claims. So, along with the toner/fluid from the same brand and line, I decided to add the cream to my ever expanding skincare collection.

[REVIEW] TonyMoly Panda’s Dream Eye Patch

TonyMoly Panda’s Dream Eye Patch Review

TonyMoly Panda’s Dream Eye Patch Review:

Working in front of computer for hours makes my eyes getting tired easier. At first, I didn’t care about that problem and thought that a good sleep is the best solution to refresh my tired eyes. So I just go straight with my daily activities without worry. Unlucky me, lately I got insomnia more than before (I guess it is an effect from watching K-Drama too much, LOL). Well, I think you could guess what happen then. Yes, I found that my under eyes look crazily dull and dark circle appeared around there.

I was too lazy to browse reviews on internet, so when I accidentally saw Tonymoly Panda’s Dream Eye Patch on online store, I bought it. I just thought that this eye patch is kinda cute because of the panda’s eye shape. Moreover, the ingredients of Bamboo extract and Niacinamide is quite high. I heard that those ingredients are good to brighten up and moisturize skin. Since this is my very first eye patch product, I was excited to try it on. And here is the result!

[REVIEW] Albion Skin Conditioner Essential

Albion Skin Conditioner Essential Review

Albion Skin Conditioner Essential Review:

I must admit, I’m not as well versed in Japanese skincare as I am in Korean. I follow a Taiwanese Youtuber who swears by Albion products, so when I was in Taipei I went to an Albion counter and did some damage. It’s by no means a cheap product, at around $100USD/$126CAD for the 330ml bottle, but I justify it in my mind that it’s still cheaper than SK-II.

I love the service at department stores in Asia, they treat you like royalty even if you’re buying a piece of lint from them. Combine the good service plus the things I’ve heard about it, I decided to buy 2 bottles and a box of the sheet masks. They were having an event where when you buy the big bottle (330ml), you get a tester kit. The tester kit is very generous, with a bottle of the lotion, two 27ml bottles of the skin conditioner, and a nozzle spray so you can use it on the go.
