[REVIEW] The Face Shop Disney Mickey Mono Pop Eyes

The Face Shop Disney Mickey Mono Pop Eyes Review

The Face Shop Disney Mickey Mono Pop Eyes Review:

The whole Disney X The Face Shop collaboration has been in my wish list for more than a year now mostly because of the super cute packaging but also the great reviews these products are receiving. Even though I like the whole collection, I believe this palette is one of the more interesting things in it since in a single palette you get eyeshadows, lip colors and also, a blush! I was mostly attracted to this because I usually do my makeup on the go and hate when I have to carry a lot of things.

[REVIEW] Mamonde Skin Fit Hibiscus Mask | Deep Moisturizing

Mamonde Skin Fit Hibiscus Mask Deep Moisturizing Review

Mamonde Skin Fit Hibiscus Mask | Deep Moisturizing Review:

At first I was just letting this mask lay around my masks box because I thought “Mamonde Hibiscus moisturizing mask? I already tried that” – except that when I decided to do a random mask and I looked more closely, this wasn’t the mask that I had already tried (and reviewed here on CosmePerks), this was a mask that was completely new to me! So I jumped in and decided it was a chance to let you know about this one too.

[REVIEW] Innisfree Perfect 9 Repair Skin

Innisfree Perfect 9 Repair Skin Review

Innisfree Perfect 9 Repair Skin Review:

Skin, toner, softener….I take them to mean essentially the same thing. “Skin” is commonly used in Korea, “Toner” in the western hemisphere and “Softener” a term coined in Japan.

I am a big fan of toners because it preps my skin by getting it all soft and ready for the serums (the important stuff!) in my skincare regimen. In this drying winter weather especially, my face starts losing moisture rapidly after I finish my cleansing. Problem is I like to faff around once I come out of the bathroom e.g. respond to Whatsapp messages, surf Facebook, check out that cute puppy post on Instagram. So a toner is essential in order to inject the much needed moisture into my skin again before applying my serum.

Innisfree Perfect 9 Repair Skin is from their anti-aging range and aims to target the symptoms of aging. It claims to contain 9 active ingredients which combats the 9 signs of aging. One thing which irks me is they only list 7 so-called signs of aging….I have counted these signs listed in the second claim below and I am definitely not getting 9!

[REVIEW] Innisfree Vivid Creamy Tint 12 Warm Vin Chaud

Innisfree Vivid Creamy Tint 12 Warm Vin Chaud Review

Innisfree Vivid Creamy Tint 12 Warm Vin Chaud Review:

This is the last product from my adventure of “Get in the store and take whatever they give me”. I must say before anything else that this name bothers me SO  MUCH ugh “Warm Vin Chaud” aka “Warm Hot Wine” like please people. It’s like when people say “The Hangang River” when they mean the Han River, so they are basically saying “The Han River River”.

Other than that, I am really excited for this product because the pigmentation is supposed to be great and because I only tried one other really dark lipstick before… on Halloween. But according to the store lady this looks good on me, so here I am!

[REVIEW] TONYMOLY Pureness 100 Shea Butter Mask Sheet Moisturizing

TONYMOLY Pureness 100 Shea Butter Mask Sheet Review

TonyMoly Pureness 100 Shea Butter Mask Sheet Review:

I ordered Etude House mask sheet last week but the seller sent me this mask without any confirmation. When I complained about that, the seller apologized and said that the mask I ordered was sold out. Bzzzz… Since I did not want to be busy for returning the mask, so I finally used it after searching many information about this mask sheet, especially its main ingredient, Shea Butter.

I rarely use shea butter for my skincare (I guess this is my first time). But thanks to this mask I finally know that shea butter actually has such a large of healing fraction. Shea butter can treat many skin problems such as blemishes, wrinkles, sunburns, skin allergies to insect bites (wohoo, sounds so interesting). Shea butter is also popular for its moisturizing benefit to skin. I hope this mask will give me a great result as well.

[REVIEW] Innisfree My Hair Recipe Refreshing Shampoo | Oily Scalp

Innisfree My Hair Recipe Refreshing Shampoo Review

Innisfree My Hair Recipe Refreshing Shampoo Review:

In my recent visit to the hair salon, my stylist did a scalp analysis for me and revealed that my scalp is oily with clogged follicles. She attributed my thinning hair to this, although I am not so certain this is indeed the cause. In any case, it got me looking more keenly at shampoos for oily scalp that helps with sebum issues.

I have had good experience with Innisfree hair products previously and am rather attracted to its new My Hair Recipe range, which claimed to use natural ingredients (from Jeju). So I decided to try out its Refreshing Shampoo meant for oily scalp.

[REVIEW] Korres Natural Clay Deep Cleansing Mask

Korres Natural Clay Deep Cleansing Mask Review

Korres Natural Clay Deep Cleansing Mask Review:

Probably the smallest non-single usage mask I’ve ever seen and used, this is just one of the many, many flavors Korres came up with. It basically was their own attempt to jump on the charcoal mask trend but in their own way. This one is meant for deep cleansing which at first doesn’t sound as attractive or special as firming or brightening sounds like but let me say one thing.

Everything depends on cleansing correctly. Sure, double cleansing does a great job but once in a while it’s important to clear your skin from all the unwanted, persistent stuff. By doing that, you’re supposed to reduce sebum production which in excess, can cause acne and all of its children to appear. If you can prevent that, you can also get a smoother skin texture. On top of that, it’s all natural, it’s just cleansing.

[REVIEW] Etude House Soon Jung Sleeping Pack – Panthensoside 5

Etude House Soon Jung Sleeping Pack - Panthensoside 5 Review

Etude House Soon Jung Sleeping Pack – Panthensoside 5 was purchased by Cosmeperks.

This is the most recent product from the Soon Jung collection by Etude House. Yes, some of you may think “oh but this isn’t new, it’s like two months old” – correct! I got it not long after it came out, and have been using it every every day.

I honestly didn’t know what to count on considering that part of the collection was amazing, one product was just okay, and another one actually wasn’t the nicest on my skin. Regardless, the part that was amazing was so amazing that I still had high hopes and expectations for this baby!
