[REVIEW] New Innisfree Jeju Orchid Fluid

Innisfree Jeju Orchid Fluid Review

Innisfree Jeju Orchid Fluid Review:

I was super excited when this product was announced (and later again when it came out) since fluids usually mean “reduced skin care”. Usually (and in this case) a fluid replaces everything between the cleanser and the cream. Which sounds like a super amazing idea!

I know Innisfree already had fluids before, but not from my second favorite line – and not from their most popular line. I must tell you right away, this fluid isn’t as popular as I thought it would be, and definitely not as popular as Innisfree was aiming it to be. But is it good, bad, or just suffering from bad marketing?

[REVIEW] Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara Advance Film Black

Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara Advance Film Black Review

Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara Advance Film Black Review:

I believe the notion of equating big well-defined eyes to beauty is the same worldwide. And there are so many brands and types of eye makeup products in the market. I personally am a subscriber to mascara. Having “studied” them long enough, I sum up that they all essentially promise any or all of the three features – long, curl and volume.

Waterproof, smudgeproof or coloured mascaras are added functions. So how to differentiate one brand from another? Even within each brand, there are so many variations. Ughh…life is so complicated *lol* I have had tried many different brands of mascara over many years, but have not found one that retained my loyalty. When I chanced upon this Kiss Me mascara, it looks promising. So will this be the one?

[REVIEW] Innisfree Daily UV Protection Cream No Sebum SPF35 PA+++

Innisfree Daily UV Protection Cream No Sebum SPF35 PA+++ Review

Innisfree Daily UV Protection Cream No Sebum SPF35 PA+++ Review:

Sunscreen is the most vital part of a skincare routine, isn’t it? Not only it is one of the most effective methods of anti-aging, it also prevents the appearance of sun spots and hyperpigmentation. Innisfree is a popular brand that I personally like a lot. I have previously tried several of their products before and not only they are inexpensive, they’re also effective.

They released a while ago a new line of sunscreens, hoping they would be as good as the previous ones I’ve tried from the brand, I bought the No Sebum version. No Sebum, you say? We’ll see that.

[REVIEW] The Face Shop Lip Top Coat

The Face Shop Lip Top Coat Review

The Face Shop Lip Top Coat Review:

After reading the review (with very sad news) of the April Skin lip fixer, I at least knew I had one less product to try. So I turned to a brand I knew decently well and got their lip top coat. Honestly, right from the start I thought it was extremely expensive for the amount of product – but also the tube didn’t even come full so I doubt it had the 5g they promised – but nonetheless I decided to use it and review it.

People with dry lips know that lipsticks with no transfer are worse for our lips than others, and it adds to the sad reality that you’re stuck with moist lipsticks that usually transfer everywhere.

So in the end, how does this perform?

[REVIEW] Dr.G Aquasis Water Vital Sleeping Mask

Dr.G Aquasis Water Vital Sleeping Mask Review

Dr.G Aquasis Water Vital Sleeping Mask Review:

I .was on the hunt for another sleeping mask ever since I finished using my Laneige Water Sleeping Mask. As this brand was having sale, I decided to give it a try and see what it has to offer. This was my first time hearing of this brand and after looking up online, I found that Dr. G originated from South Korea and was developed by Dr. Ahn Gun-Young, the founder of Gowoonsesang, which is the number one dermatology centre in South Korea.

[REVIEW] Etude House Dear Darling Water Gel Tint PK003 Sweet Potato Red

Etude House Dear Darling Water Gel Tint PK003 Sweet Potato Red Review

Etude House Dear Darling Water Gel Tint PK003 Sweet Potato Red Review:

Since I have good experiences with lip tints from Etude House, I bought myself another lip tint from them and this time it’s a new version of Dear Darling Water Gel Tint. From what I remember, they have this tint in old version (I think it’s around 2009 – 2012) but I never tried those before.

This new version has better packaging and more shades available, about 15 shades from reds, oranges, to berries colors. Etude House has so many lip tints to choose from but I chose this one because based from the promotion picture, this tint is very pigmented, not drying, and easy to apply. I have a chapped lips so a non-drying lip tint will be a blessing for me.

[REVIEW] By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water

By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water Review

By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water Review:

When talking about exfoliating toners, Pixi Glow Tonic would first come to mind, as it is one of the earlier ones to emerge and quickly became a cult favourite. Then came The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution, at a fraction of Pixi Glow Tonic price and with a bigger volume. What these two have in common is that both contain glycolic acid, which has the smallest acid molecule and can be irritating to sensitive skin folks.

By Wishtrend then has came up their own gentle exfoliating toner targeted for sensitive skin, which is the By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water. Mandelic acid has the largest molecule structure therefore it is the least to cause irritation because it penetrates the skin more slowly than glycolic acid. It also has anti-bacterial properties, which can help with inflammatory acnes.

I have tried both Pixi Glow Tonic and The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution. I really enjoy the one from The Ordinary, but not so much with Pixi Glow Tonic. I like having an exfoliating toner in my routine, so when I saw By Wishtrend launched this product I thought of trying it to see how it compares to the previous two that I have used.

[REVIEW] Neulii Snail Bee Anti-Wrinkle Serum

Neulii Snail Bee Anti-Wrinkle Serum Review

Neulii Snail Bee Anti-Wrinkle Serum Review:

Neulii is a Korean skin care brand launched by the online shop RoseRoseShop, and when they first launched the brand they were kind enough to send out free samples to people. However, that wasn’t the reason I became interested in this serum, but rather the fact that it had so few ingredients and the fact that RoseRoseShop were so transparent about the percentages of actives and ingredients in their products. I liked the fact that they produced a simple serum with few ingredients and their openness about the products details.

When I saw they had a snail bee serum I was curious to try one and see if it would work for me, since so many people seem to have great success with snail products. It also contains propolis which is an ingredient that I also like in skin care, I’ve long been a fan of Cosrx Honey overnight sleeping mask which also has propolis in it. The simple clean design of the product appealed to me, and the low price so of course I couldn’t resist buying it.

[REVIEW] La Roche-Posay Toleriane Soothing Protective Skincare

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Soothing Protective Skincare Review

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Soothing Protective Skincare Review:

La Roche-Posay is a famous drugstore brand from France. Their products are claimed by dermatologists and are tested on sensitive skins. And that’s the reason why I gave this one a try.

There was one time that I got a horrible breakout because of cosmetic allergy (poor me) and I decided to go to a dermatologist. She gave me an antibiotic liquid and warned that it would dry my skin. And you know, my skin was really really sensitive at that time, so she recommended me to use the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Soothing Protective Skincare to gently moisturize my skin. The name of this products may seem really weird to be honest however it does describe itself pretty exactly. We will get to that!
