[REVIEW] Pyunkang Yul Moisture Serum

Pyunkang Yul Moisture Serum Review

Pyunkang Yul Moisture Serum Review:

Pyunkang Yul is a skincare brand launched from the renowned Pyunkang Oriental Medicine Clinic in Korea, which primarily treats atopic skin disorders. Aiming to revolutionize how you approach skincare, the brand advises to not just consider your skin type, but to also consider your body and environment when choosing products.

Thus, the birth of a line of products targeting a healthy oil-moisture skin balance in conjunction with traditional Chinese medicine – a very interesting idea in the sea of trendy ingredients and advertising in the oversaturated K-Beauty market.

So, although I am a bit late to the PKY party (to the point that they’ve now launched a new ACNE line), I wanted to give a well-thought out review after a decent duration of time. With naturally heaty facial skin and doomed to a humid climate day in and day out, did the Moisture Serum work out well for me?

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Innisfree My Foundation Glow 3.1 C13

Innisfree My Foundation Glow 3.1 C13 Review

Innisfree My Foundation Glow 3.1 C13 Review:

My Foundation is a latest foundation from Innisfree. With such a simple name, I think it makes me more curious and want to try especially because of the unique shade numeration. If you notice, each foundation has different numbers (e.g : 3.1, 2.5, 1.3, etc) and from what I read from Innisfree website, it is a custom foundation so a lot of skin types can try this foundation.

With this shades range, personally I think this is a huge innovation especially from a Korean brand (which is famous for their limited shade range). I’m happy to see this foundation on my local Innisfree store so I got to swatch the shade first before purchasing it.

From what the personal assistant told me, the first number shows the foundation finish. 1 means Matte, 2 means Semi-matte, and 3 means Glow. The second number shows the coverage level, 1 being the lightest and 5 being the fullest.

[REVIEW] Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer

Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer Review

Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer Review:

In truth, I bought this product due to its hype online from well-known Youtubers to blog reviews. It seemed to be featured everywhere, and at the time, I didn’t exactly have a holy grail for my primer.

So, when I was in London, I made the decision to purchase the Too Faced Hangover Primer, a primer designed to make you look like you’ve been well-hydrated and have gotten sufficient sleep — two things that I’m always lacking!

Lirikos Marine Energy Night Pearl Lip Mask Review

Lirikos Marine Energy Night Pearl Lip Mask Review:

I bought this product around one week after I finished my Innisfree Canola Honey Lip Sleeping Pack. I loved it but when I looked for it, Innisfree didn’t sell it anymore in their official stores!

So I confirmed myself in buying literally the prettiest lip mask I have ever seen. It’s so pretty it’s just glitter away of being perfect. Does it perform as well as it is beautiful?

[REVIEW] TONYMOLY Perfect Lips Shocking Lip 04 Orange Shocking

TONYMOLY Perfect Lips Shocking Lip 04 Orange Shocking Review

TONYMOLY Perfect Lips Shocking Lip 04 Orange Shocking Review:

Some years ago (I don’t know the exact year) TonyMoly has a lip tint called the ‘Perfect Lips Shocking Lip’ but it wasn’t hyped and there are other lip tints from them that were much more popular. They finally decided to re-formulated and re-releasing the tint with brand new image and adding 2 additional shades.

On the older release, they only has 4 shades but in this new one they add 2 more shades. When I check the older one, the shades aren’t that different, even they have the same names so I guess TonyMoly only change the formula and not the shade. Among those 6 shades, there’s no neutral or natural shade. All of them are bold and bright color which is perfect for the summer.

With the new formula, they claim that it is a 24 hour long wearing lip tint and even on their website, they show a video where a girl playing in the water yet her lips is still intact. On reviews from Korean bloggers that I read almost all of them are satisfied with the tint as well so I bought it to try myself if it’s really true to its claim or not.

[REVIEW] Etude House Monster Oil In Cleansing Water

Etude House Monster Oil In Cleansing Water Review

Etude House Monster Oil In Cleansing Water Review:

Many people prefer micellar cleansers over oil cleansers, but honestly in my case I mostly preferred oil cleansers. Although that said I always liked to have a micellar water on hand for those lazy days or for when I was going away and needed something easy to use. The problem was that I mostly found the Western cleansing waters too drying for me and just generally unpleasant to use, which was why one bottle tended to last a long time because I rarely used it.

When Etude House came out with their new range of Monster micellar waters I was curious to see if I would like a Korean one more than the ones I got here. I actually received a sample from an order, and I felt the Etude House one was much nicer than the ones I get here so I decided to try a big bottle. But instead of ordering the normal one I decided to try the newest one with oil, I felt that the oil might make it work better at removing sunscreen.

One of my issues with micellar water is that I’m never sure if it fully removes sunscreen, so I hoped with the inclusion of oil that it might actually do that better. You could say that I decided to buy this on the spur of a moment, so I actually didn’t know much about it, I just hoped it would be as good as Etude House’s regular monster micellar water.

Peripera Pink Moment Ink The Velvet 18 Update Natural Pink Review

Peripera Pink Moment Ink The Velvet 18 Update Natural Pink Review:

I am here and superb excited to give you a review of the most beautiful lip product in town!

Well, if you read every single post on Cosmeperks, I believe you already knew this collection, Pink Moment from Peripera 2018 Fall Collection. Our lovely author, Debby, already reviewed the Ink Gelato #8 Blacktea With Milk and Ink The Velvet #17 Hip Beige Pink last month. And now, I also have Peripera Ink The Velvet for this review but, of course, in different shade. Mine is #18 Update Natural Pink.

I tried Peripera Ink The Velvet before, the SS 2017 colors and the Pearly Night edition. Those products were launched last year. And now, since it’s 2018, I was curious if Peripera did any improvement for their Ink Velvet product or they just dressed up this lip product in a beautiful packaging only. Let’s see!

[REVIEW] Purito Defence Barrier pH Cleanser

Purito Defence Barrier pH Cleanser Review

Purito Defence Barrier pH Cleanser Review:

Purito is a Korean brand that’s been making waves recently, mostly online in the Instagram beauty community, at least from what I’ve seen. Touting itself as brand with “safe and honest ingredients that everyone – friends, family, and even babies – can have faith in”, I have to say that they’ve set some pretty high standards for themselves.

So while I can see that the ingredients used in their products seem promising, you can never know how a product would work for you unless you try it for yourselves. Which is why when I received this as a gift from a friend for my birthday, I was delighted and intrigued. But does this cleanser live up to Purito’s claim of being mild and sensitive-skin friendly?

[REVIEW+ALL SWATCHES] Etude House SHINE Chic Lip Lacquer PK001 Magenta Z & PK002 Muse On

Etude House Shine Chic Lip Lacquer PK001 Magenta Z & PK002 Muse On Review

Etude House SHINE Chic Lip Lacquer PK001 Magenta Z & PK002 Muse On was purchased by Cosmeperks.

Last time Etude House released the Matte Chic Lip Lacquers which were a tremendous success. Are they the best quality matte lipstick – no, but they definitely are affordable and the most long lasting ones I have ever tried. This time, Etude House released ones that promise to give you shine yet long lasting lip looks without smudge. Personally given my dehydrated (and often dry) lips, these ones appeal to me more than the last ones. So, without further ado, I present thee two colors!
