[REVIEW+SWATCHES] New 2019 3CE Cloud Lip Tint Peach Tease

3CE Cloud Lip Tint Peach Tease was purchased by Cosmeperks.

Cloud lip tint is the latest release from 3 Concept Eyes, not long after they released the Smoothing lip tint. 3CE is one of many brands who keeps releasing new products so it’s not unexpected to see they came with a brand new item regularly. I am a fan of 3CE so it’s always exciting to see the new releases and I’m very grateful to Nigama who once again trust me and offer me this lip tint to try!

They claim this lip tint has a satin finish with ‘fluffy cloud-like’ formula, thus the name but maybe because I’ve tried so many tints with similar description to this one, I assume it’s a lip tint with soft texture and velvet finish. I watched their advertisement on YouTube too and from what I’d seen, my assumption was spot on. If you saw the video, then you must’ve seen that the lip tint is indeed a velvet lip tint.

Since it’s a very new release, it’s a little bit hard to find online stores who sell it. I think in another month or two, other online stores will start to sell it and you will get easier access to get the lip tint to try. For now, if you find a store who sells it and want to buy it, make sure that the product is original because 3CE is known as a brand who got copied the most (and there are tons of shops sell fake 3CE product).

3CE Cloud Lip Tint Peach Tease Review:

I think the most noticeable thing from this new release is how 3CE finally make a lip tint in a totally new style of packaging. As you can see from the pictures, this time they make it in a rectangular shape with a beautiful gold lid which makes the tint looks more luxurious even though it’s made from plastic. The bottle has a rubber matte feeling to it, exactly like the Smoothing lip tint but this time they also make the outer box with a rubber matte material.

The lid also feels more secure than usual because beside of putting the usual black label (to make sure the tint has never been opened before), it also has a ‘click’ sound when you close it to make sure that you have close it properly and the tint won’t leak out if you put it upside down. I love this new feature but actually the gold lid is very easy to get dirty with fingerprints because of its material.

The applicator is a doe-foot with tear drop shape. It has a small size but it picks up a good amount of product for my tiny lips. It spreads the tint evenly and the small, pointy tip helps to achieve a precise application, especially on my cupids bow area.

When I visited their website, they claimed that the tear drop applicator is specially designed for this Cloud lip tint to ‘help cultivate a sophisticated and seamless pout’. I’m not sure what they mean with seamless pout but I agree that the applicator works fine with this lip tint.

This new release has 12 shades available to choose and in my opinion, some of the shades look very similar to each other. Most of the shades have orange to brownish tone in it with only several shades have pink and red tone. I’m guessing they release this lip tint for the autumn collection because they shades do scream autumn vibe so much.

These type of shades are really my style so I don’t know which shade should I get but at the end, I pick the shade ‘Peach Tease’ because it looks like it won’t be too pale or too dark on my skin tone.

3CE Cloud Lip Tint Peach Tease Review

3CE claims Peach Tease as a muted orange shade that serves as a fresh base for coral makeup look. In real life the shade is a true orange with warm undertone but on my skin tone, it doesn’t look like a muted orange at all. On the contrary, it looks like it has orange-red base in it.

This shade is not a perfect MLBB shade for me but if I wear it thinly, it gives me a beautiful soft coral color. If you have medium skin tone, I think this shade will look amazing as your daily shade.

As I said before, this tint has a soft texture with velvet finish. I try to compare it with the other two famous lip tint from 3CE, the Smoothing lip tint and the Velvet tint because both have similar finish. After I play with them for some time and make a comparison, at the end I can conclude that the Cloud tint has the most ‘whipped’ texture out of the three but all of them have similar velvet finish.

This tint has a very good pigmentation, one swipe is enough to cover my whole lips (bless my tiny lips) and it’s easy to blend. But because of the pigmentation, you may want to use this tint in a small amount as possible if you want to make a gradient lip because if you use too much, it will be hard to make that gradient effect. I would recommend using a thin lip brush to get a soft, perfectly blended gradient lips.

It feels comfortable on my lips, as if I didn’t wear anything at all and it doesn’t make my lips dry either. It even feels way better than the Smoothing lip tint. I can say that it has the same level of comfort with the Velvet Tint, which is one of my favorite lip tint to this date.

As for its longevity, I’m pretty impressed by it! I applied it on the afternoon, right before I grab some food. I was eating some oily noodles at that time and when I looked at the mirror to check my lips, the color was still there and just faded a little bit. It’s actually a rare thing to see a tint that can hold against oily food like this so of course it’s pretty impressive.

After 6 hours, I checked my lips once again and I can see it leaves a hint of orange stain on the inner part of my lips and the color is still intact on the outer part of my lips. I think it’s still amazing how the tint is still there on my lips even after 6 hours of wearing and eating oily food (I didn’t touch up at all!). It lasts longer than the Smoothing lip tint so it’s obvious which one I like better, isn’t it?

I love this tint and I love the shades range just because warm tone lips are my favorite. If you prefer cool tone lips, there are shades for you but maybe you won’t find it ‘cool’ enough for your liking. Aside from the shade, the qualities are superb and I highly recommend it for you to try!

The price is the same with other tints from 3CE so if you are a fan of 3CE, then you won’t be surprised by the price. It’s not a very affordable product but it’s not too expensive either so I think a lot of people can try this tint.

Don’t forget to always check the originality of the product! The hologram sticker is the way to see if your product is original or fake. The fake one doesn’t have the holo effect and make sure you always ask the seller first to check. If you can, ask the seller politely to show the real picture of the product, if they can’t show it then big chance they sell a fake product. It happened to my friend twice so I hope it can be a useful information for you 🙂
