3CE Velvet Lip Tint Daffodil was purchased by Cosmeperks.
The popularity of matte lip color seems to be endless and I think 3CE really understand that fact. We may remember their Red Recipe and Mood Recipe Matte Lip Color successfully hit beauty market last year. And few months ago 3CE just added a new stuff in their collection, of course, still in matte style. It’s 3CE Velvet Lip Tint! There are 10 MLBB shades and all of them are so pretty (guess what? When I had to choose one shade, I stuck and thought, could I just have them all? Haha). And as guessed, this lip tint became a new hyped up product since it was released.
3CE Velvet Lip Tint is claimed to have a creamy and airy texture, aside from its rich MLBB shades. And since it is a lip tint, it also offers a petal-like tinge. Hmm, sounds promising. The first shade I chose was #Going Right, it looks so pretty on the website. But that shade was sold out, so I moved to #Pink Break which was also sold out. Oh, okay -.- Then I went to #Childlike and this shade was sold out too (wow, a lot of people were going crazy with this product, ha!) Then the seller told me that another best seller shade was still available, it’s #Daffodil. Since I love all shades of this lip tint, so yeah, I immediately grabbed this baby before it’s gone.
Seriously, you should go to 3CE’s website to check all the pretty shades. 3CE really knows how to get everyone’s heart with their beautiful models (my favorite is Park Sora, so in love with this doll!). You may end up like me, desiring to collect all the shades after looking at their models wearing this lip tint. But wait, it is better to read my complete review before buying this product, right? So, keep scrolling down!

3CE Velvet Lip Tint Daffodil Review:
Do you agree that 3CE products mostly come in professional design like this one? They always make their products in an eye-catching package, including this Velvet Lip Tint. Each shade has same design but in different color that represents the shade inside.
And the shade #Daffodil comes in chili-brown package. The outer box and the bottle have a matching color and they are designed very simple. Seems like they do not want to add unimportant pattern on their product, just enough with 3CE’s cute logo in the middle. So simple but adorable.
I didn’t get the English description on the box (thus we need to go to their website to get a full description of the product and enjoy their pretty pictures). By the way, are you aware that there are also fake 3CE products out there?
Lately, I found the fake products of Red and Mood Recipe Lip Color Mini Kit like everywhere and they are sold very cheap. Please make sure that you always buy from trusted seller to get the original products. And do not forget to check on google how to spot the fake and real one.
The original 3CE Velvet Lip Tint has a 3CE’s hologram sticker on the back side (see the right corner) of the outer box. The logo and letters are printed very clearly and neatly. Meanwhile there is another seal on the tube of the lip tint as well. This seal is placed neatly and adheres strongly on the tube.
I’m not sure if there is a fake product of this lip tint, maybe not yet for now. But since this product is quite popular, we must be really careful in the future.
For its 4 gram content, the tube or the bottle is pretty big but not that bulky because of its sleek design. It is still perfect to put in our pouch. The tube is also sturdy and a bit heavy. It totally looks like a deluxe product.
The advantage of long tube is you also get a long wand for the applicator. And it is really comfortable to use. Moreover, it comes in doe-foot type with a slant on its slim brush (my favorite applicator for lip tint). The bristles are soft and gathers only a small amount of the product so we can easily control the product we want to apply on lips. The brush works nicely to create both gradient and full lips application.
When I read the product description on the website, I thought “will it be like Peripera Ink Airy Velvet?” Some descriptions seem to be similar with Ink Airy Velvet like petal-like color and creamy-airy texture. But however, they are pretty different in real.
3CE Velvet Lip Tint has a weightless and creamy texture like a lip mousse. The texture is slightly thicker than Peripera Ink Airy Velvet (in case you have tried this popular product as well). But 3CE Velvet Lip Tint has better coverage and more matte when blended out (as gradient look).
3CE Velvet Lip Tint glides on smoothly and easily. And it also has a delicious vanilla scent. One swipe is enough to cover up my natural lip color and it is okay if you want to add another layer to get a bold look. You just have to be very careful to blend it evenly especially on the inner part of your lips because if you don’t, it may get a bit clumpy when you apply too much product.
Though I said 3CE Velvet Lip Tint is more matte than Peripera’s one but the matte result is actually not matte-matte (dead matte). It is typically Korean matte lip color, which is semi-matte or I will say velvety-matte. This is a kind of matte result that I really like because it is matte but still moist and supple. It won’t make your lips look too wrinkly nor accentuate your fine lines.
#Daffodil is one of the best seller shades in my country (I guess the top rank must be #Going Right because it’s sold out everywhere, ouch!). On the website #Daffodil is described as a modern and cosmopolitan marsala wine color.
And the real color is not too different from their official swatch. Yasss! I am very happy that the actual color is as pretty as the color on the website. Some little differences are caused by the lighting, I guess. Simply, #Daffodil is an orange-brown color with hint of marsala. It is a pretty and unique color you must try!
The shade #Daffodil is perfect to be used for gradient lips as well as the full one. It is also wearable for daily because as this product claimed, this is an adorable MLBB shade with a great color payoff. I think this shade will look best on fair to medium skin tone. I do not regret choosing this shade because it is totally pretty.
This Velvet Lip Tint works like a lip tint (of course, ha!). The staying power is great, it can stay more than 5 hours with its actual, vivid color on my lips. After fading away, it will give a leftover orange-brown stain that can last from day to night. The longevity is very great on my lips and it doesn’t leave flaky result too. And luckily, it can be removed easily with my lip makeup remover, so I do not have to give too much effort to erase the stain.
Ah, when I reviewed 3CE Lip Pigment, I told you that the product has oil content thus it can be blended easily. Interesting, I also found (from the website) that this Velvet Lip Tint contains oil-packed formula as well. No wonder it glides and blends so easily on lips. And it doesn’t make my lips dry too, but I still need to prepare my lips well (scrubbing or wearing a lip balm) before applying this lip tint.
I really love my 3CE Velvet Lip Tint in #Daffodil and do want to try the shade #Going Right on my next purchase, but guess what? I just landed on 3CE’s official Instagram and found that they will launch new colors for this Velvet Lip Tint! Gosh, it will be a big hit to my wallet, hhaha! I wonder how beautiful their new colors will be.
Overall, even though this product is not that affordable but due to its unique and pretty shades collection and also its great formula that works nicely as a velvety-matte lip tint, this product deserves to be in your lip tint collection. I suggest you to visit the website of 3CE to see all the shades, I believe even though just one shade, you will want to own this product.
