A’PIEU Fruit Vinegar Sheet Mask Pomegranate was purchased by Cosmeperks.
There are two new additions to the A’pieu sheet mask family. They are tasty looking and smell delicious, they are something I would buy if they came in a juice bottle! Their mask sheets are affordable and have never disappointed me, so this is a new adventure of course I am looking forward to. There are two options: lemon and pomegranate. The first is for softening and brightening, the second for softening and moisturizing – so of course in the dry winter I went for the moisturizing one. Let’s see how it goes!
“The one bottle of pomegranate vinegar the skin drinks”
Fills the dry and sagging skin with elastic moisture with pomegranate extract.
Vinegar and AHA eliminate the rough and dry dead skin cells smoothly.
The CLYO tencell sheet adheres tightly to the skin with superb essence absorption.
Important ingredients: glycolic acid (AHA)
Pomegranate extract 2,000ppm, vinegar 1,000ppm, AHA 100ppm
How to use:
1. After cleansing, apply toner and any other products you use to refine your skin’s texture.
2. Remove the mask from the pouch and spread it open, applying it to your face shape with care to match the eyes, nose, and mouth.
3. After 10 to 20 minutes remove the mask. Pat the remaining essence until it’s absorbed into the skin.
My Skin Type: Combination – Oily T, dry U. Recently suffering from dry weather and pollution irritation.
A’PIEU Fruit Vinegar Sheet Mask Pomegranate Review:
First of all, I love love love the design okay. The packaging is appealing and cute enough and fresh, and although it’s not my personal style, I think it’s ideal for something to give as presents. Imagine receiving a cute box with a bunch of cute masks and this one was there too – it would definitely make me happy!
The package opens easily and without a fuss.
Even though it didn’t splatter any essence anywhere when I opened the package, the mask is so soaked in essence that it keeps sliding down my fingers – it made it very difficult to take that first photo there.
When I put the mask on I felt a slight sting on a pimple I have, so I must warn you this mask may burn on open wounds or acne, do be careful. Or, if you tried this already, please comment and let me know.
The mask sheet itself adheres decently, but nothing too special since the essence is so liquid it kind of seems like the mask will start sliding down (even though, I tell you right away, nothing slid down my face, not even essence).
The essence, as you can see and as I already mentioned, really is liquid. And if I am going to be honest (which of course I am) there was almost no essence left in the pouch, I had to squeeze it a lot to get these drops for the photo. That is a little disappointing, I must say.
The essence absorbed quickly and wasn’t sticky at any point on the arm test. It smells of pomegranate juice, but not exaggeratedly sweet or fake like other masks from A’pieu.
After 15 minutes passed the mask started drying under my nose so I removed it not long after. Let’s analyze the results.
This mask is definitely hydrating and not moisturizing as they said it was. I didn’t understand what they meant by softening, but after using the mask I think they mean refining. It makes the skin texture finer and more even (you can see it relatively well in the middle photo).
The results don’t yell “I just did a mask” but they are still a little visible. I think this mask may be more effective if used twice or thrice a week for a long period of time, since one of its star ingredients is AHA (chemical peeling).
It’s an okay mask, but it does feel quite fresh and nice while applying. I recommend it for non-dry skins and for the non-dry season. Effect wise I would rate it 3.5/5 but “mask magic” wise I would definitely rate it a 4/5.
Again, note that the mask stung a little on a pimple so you might want to be careful.
Would I purchase it again? Definitely.
