A’Pieu Juicy Pang Mousse Tint BE01 Fig Review:
After having a great success with the Juicy Pang Tint, A’Pieu is back with another product in the collection, the Juicy Pang Mousse Tint. I’m a huge fan of the Juicy Pang Tint so I’m really excited when I saw advertisements for the Mousse Tint online. Basically it’s a velvet version of the older release so I’m guessing it would be more long lasting and doesn’t feel slippery on the lips.
If you never tried the original Juicy Pang Tint then you really need to try it! I think it’s one of the best lip tints I’ve ever tried and in Korea it’s also really popular and hyped by beauty influencers. Maybe because it’s unexpectedly popular (and not everyone loves the oily finish) A’Pieu decided to make it in a mousse version. Even though I love the original version, to be honest I’m not a biggest fan of glossy lips so when I saw they already have it on sale, I asked my friend who stay in Korea to get it for me immediately.
Recently A’Pieu got so popular internationally and now you can find their products easily on every online store that sell Korean makeup. Along with the affordable price (and good quality), I think it’s definitely one of the reasons why this lip tint was almost sold out when they first launched it.

A’Pieu Juicy Pang Mousse Tint BE01 Fig Review:
There’s an obvious differences between the original Juicy Pang Tint with this Mousse version. First, they make the packaging in totally different style. The older one has a smooth, sleek with different color for each shades while the new one is a transparent frosted matte bottle and you can see the shade inside. I prefer the older one because it’s prettier and the new one looks dull.
Both of them have a doe foot applicator but the Mousse Tint version has smaller and shorter applicator. At first I thought it would affect my application especially since I have small lips but unexpectedly I love it! With the small applicator I can reach the corner part of my lips easily and on the front part it has a bit of slanted shape so it can hug my lips well and distributes the tint smoothly.
The old Juicy Pang Tint also has a similar applicator shape but it’s too long especially for applying a mousse texture lip tint. I also think the long applicator is better for applying more ‘wet’ product than a velvet/matte one.
For the Mousse version, A’Pieu made it in 8 shades but I find most of the shades look very similar to each other. They also has reds and pinks undertone so if you are not a fan of red/pink/rosy lip color then you won’t like this lip tint. Among those 8 shades, I pick up the most neutral one which is shade BE01.
BE01 is the supposed-to-be the lightest and most neutral shade in the collection. From the picture though the shade looks like a warm rosy shade and I wonder how A’Pieu named the shade as Beige (BE means Beige in Korean shade numbering) because I see no hint of beige or brown undertone at all.
On me, the shade looks pretty much the same with the one they show on the official swatch picture. Actually it’s not my favorite shade but thanks to its rosy tone in it, the shade is perfect as my MLBB shade. I think it would suit every skin tone as it will be a beautiful universal shade.
As its name, the texture is really moussy and a bit slippery. It has good pigmentation and I only need one swipe to cover my bottom lips. When I apply it on my lips, it feels smooth and I can blend it to make a gradient lips with no effort. I just need to smack my lips together and you will get a beautiful gradient lips.
The thing I love the most from this lip tint is how it blurs fine lines on my lips. It gives a soft, smooth and plump lips. It won’t get patchy even after hours of wearing, won’t emphasis my flaky lips and the most important thing is how it lasts all day even after I eat! At first I thought because the texture is a bit slippery it will fade right after I eat but turn out it has a very good lasting power.
It doesn’t leave a tint behind but the actual color sticks to my lips so it’s not easily fade but weird thing is it’s easy to remove with only micellar water, no need to use a lip tint remover or a cleansing oil. I’m not sure how A’Pieu did it but I’m pleasantly surprised to see how this tint performs on my lips.
The only negative thing from this tint is how the shades are too similar and limited. I hope they will make other shades in the future. For sure I will purchase another one if they add more neutral, orange, or brown shades. For now, even though I love this lip tint so much, I don’t think I will get another shade.
Limited shades aside, I highly recommend this lip tint! No matter if you have dry lips, small lips, or even dark lips you will love it. It won’t emphasis your dry parts and thanks to its great pigmentation, it can cover your lips fully even if you have pigmented or dark lips. I think it’s one of the best purchase I did in 2019!
