[Review] Aritaum Fresh Power Essence Pouch Collagen Sleeping Pack

Aritaum Fresh Power Essence Pouch Collagen Sleeping Pack Review:

I was very excited when I first saw this product. It’s a small sleeping mask, and it looks like it has enough amount for more than one time! Especially for people who don’t use a sleeping pack regularly this seems like a nice option. Not to mention, we get to try different flavors for such a cheap price. So, for my first one I chose collagen. The weather change has been taking a toll on my skin and collagen seems like the right thing to bring back its vitality.

Although I don’t usually use collagen based products, sometimes they intrigue me, as is the case of this one! If I like this then it’s the most amazing thing to take on travels, and if I don’t… well, it’s small and inexpensive, so might as well try it!

I’ll admit the first thing I thought when I saw this, was that it looked like a juice pack. This type of opening lets you close it back safely, and use it again later. Since the product doesn’t have a “date after opening” as usually masks and packs do, I guess you can use it as you would use a normal sleeping pack and keep it well protected.

The product squeezed out in an adorable pearl shape, and this seems like a sufficient amount for the swatch. For most products, from my experience, the amount of product I need for my face is two times the amount of the swatch, so this would mean I can use this mask around 4 times (it seems like that).

The absorption steps. You can see in the first one it’s a quite liquid cream, as if it melted when it touches your skin. On that one, it’s quite similar to the above mentioned Laneige sleeping pack.

It also feels very watery as I spread it on my skin, and after it absorbed properly it didn’t feel sticky at all! If I’m going to be completely honest, I do like the Laneige one but even after absorption it feels a little sticky on my skin, so I feel a little limited on my sleeping movements. With this one, it feels very comfortable.

After I used it for the whole 4 times (and there’s a little left but I’m not sure it’ll be enough for a 5th time), my skin does feel better! As you would expect of a sleeping pack. It feels more elastic, and (again) comparing this sleeping pack to the Laneige one, this one doesn’t make my skin as oily as the Laneige one!

However, due to each sleeping pack’s individual characteristics, the Laneige one seems to visibly moisturize the skin more, as this one actually makes my skin feel good, elastic, and not as oily but without visible results.

You can see in this photo that my skin didn’t get too greasy throughout the night. Usually sleeping packs are good for my dry patches, but make my T zone shine like it’s New Year’s eve, and this one surprisingly didn’t do that, while keeping my skin’s good feeling. I took this literally after waking up, you can even see my sleepy-swollen skin still!

I was honestly surprised with this, since for the first two times I didn’t feel the effect and the results aren’t visible like the other sleeping packs I’ve tried. After completing the treatment, even if I can’t see the drastic results, it delivers on the claims it makes.

So, whereas I will not buy this one to use at home (I’m environmentally conscious and small packs bother me because of that), I will definitely take this on travels or sleepovers! I still have to find my skin’s ideal sleeping pack, but this one is so far the closest.

If you don’t know if sleeping packs are for you, this is also a good way to try them!
