[REVIEW] Polatam Pure Cream Firming Radiance Mask

Polatam Pure Cream Firming Radiance Mask Review

Polatam Pure Cream Firming Radiance Mask Review:

Polatam is a brand I’ve frequently seen around and heard about, but due to the price tag, have always been wondering about from afar. Claimed to be created by Park Tam Hee, an acclaimed Korean actress with a keen knowledge of beauty and skincare, the Polatam skincare range definitely caught my eye more due to its chic packaging more than anything.

Overall very clean and classy, with interesting notable ingredients thrown about, I was definitely excited when I was gifted a couple of masks from this range to try out. But the question remains: does the quality/experience reflect its price tag?

[REVIEW] 9wishes Perfect Ampule Serum Calm | relieving & anti-redness

9wishes Perfect Ampule Serum Calm Review

9wishes Perfect Ampule Serum Calm Review:

9wishes isn’t a brand I’m wholly familiar with, and from their brand, I’ve only really seen this particular line around – I bought mine in a physical Watsons during my Bangkok trip last year – and maybe a few other products like their Vanishing Balm which apparently works well as a tone-up cream. But after consulting a friend who’s tried the Oxygen type from this line and having encouraging results, I decided to snag myself one to try.

[REVIEW] Yadah Oh My Sun Slush SPF50+/PA+++

Yadah Oh My Sun Slush SPF50+PA+++ Review

Yadah Oh My Sun Slush SPF50+/PA+++ Review:

To be honest, I’ve always been quite intrigued with Yadah’s skincare line. It’s not the most raved about brand, I think, but it does pride itself on being “natural” and sensitive skin-friendly, so that certainly got my attention. However, since I try not to spend impulsively in general (although I do have strong urges… don’t we all?) I couldn’t really find a reason to purchase anything from the brand because I had other products to use up first. So when I received this in a gift exchange among friends last year, I was very excited.

[REVIEW] Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner Super Keep 02 Bitter Brown

Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner Super Keep 02 Bitter Brown Review

Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner Super Keep 02 Bitter Brown Review:

For the most part, I’m more of a mascara person, so I never was one for the whole strong jet black cat eye look as more often than not, it’d obscure the rest of my eye makeup and make my lashes look less prominent. However, I found a compromise for when I did want some eye makeup exaggeration: brown eyeliner.

Less intense, less prone to visually blocking out my naturally black lashes, and definitely more suitable for “soft looks” or standalone wear without coming off “too strong”. And well, since I trust Heroine Make with my mascara needs, I decided, why not give their eyeliner a go, too?

[REVIEW] New 2018 OMI Menturm Verdio UV Moisture Milk SPF50+/PA++++

OMI Menturm Verdio UV Moisture Milk SPF50 PA Review

OMI Menturm Japan Verdio UV Moisture Milk SPF50+/PA++++ was purchased by Cosmeperks.

When it comes to sunscreens, I admit that I’m quite partial to Japanese formulations. Due to their high SPF/PA ratings to block out harmful UV rays, cosmetic elegance, double function as makeup primers and availability in local stores, it’s no wonder that I always end up picking out one or two to try when I’m low on sun protection.

Hence, when I was approached by Cosmeperks to try out a recently launched sunscreen from Menturm, I was intrigued right off the bat and agreed almost instantaneously. Putting honesty at the forefront of all my reviews, did this sunscreen manage to flirt its way into my “forever repurchase” list?

[REVIEW] SkinRX Lab MadeCera Return Cream

SkinRX Lab MadeCera Return Cream Review

SkinRX Lab MadeCera Return Cream Review:

For those with poor moisture barrier and skin sensitivity issues, ingredients such as ceramide and madecassoside/centella asiatica would surely be familiar faces at this point. Boasting skin repairing and anti-inflammatory properties, these ingredients are almost always the talk of the town when someone complains of dehydrated and/or irritated skin.

Hence, when a couple of my friends were talking about this cream after their trips to Seoul (at the time, SkinRX Lab products were pretty scarce and less accessible online if I’m not mistaken), I definitely became curious and almost cried in gratefulness when one of them decided to gift me a tube of it earlier in the year for my birthday (I may be a bit over-dramatic). So, did this product end up being a savior for my fickle, problematic skin?

[REVIEW] Unicharm Silcot Uruuru Sponge Facial Cotton Pads

Unicharm Silcot Uruuru Sponge Facial Cotton Pads Review

Unicharm Silcot Uruuru Sponge Facial Cotton Pads Review:

It’s crazy how the deeper you fall into the skincare rabbit hole, the more you find out how different things can be. Case in point: cotton pads. But, cotton pads are all the same, right? Wrong!

The texture, its ability to soak up product, how easy it may or may not fall apart… the more I experiment with various cotton pads, the more I find how alarmingly different yet similar they can be.

But it wasn’t until I gave in and got my hands on the Silcot did I begin to realize how important these things could be in the grander scheme of a skincare routine.

Neogence N3 Mandelic Acid Refining Mask Review

Neogence N3 Mandelic Acid Refining Mask Review:

I’ve been intrigued by Neogence as a brand for awhile now, but as they’re not the most affordable skincare range, I became pretty good at ignoring them whenever I chanced upon them in local stores, haha. However, when I saw their masks on sale, I really couldn’t resist getting my hands on at least a few variants to satisfy the nagging curiosity. So, did the results measure up to my expectations?

Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Cleansing Oil Review

Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Cleansing Oil Review:

Curious about other cleansing oils, when a friend brought this up last year, I was surprised, considering Simple isn’t an Asian brand. But looking at the relatively clean and minimal ingredients list, it left me very intrigued. So when I caught it on sale at a local pharmacy/drugstore, I gave in almost immediately. Read on to see how a British cleansing oil fares in terms of makeup removal!
