[Review] Son and Park Beauty Water

Son and Park Beauty Water Review

Son and Park Beauty Water Review:

I am already an avid follower of the double cleansing method, but as I came across the possibility of beauty waters and a third cleanse I became intrigued by this next step. I knew that double cleansing with an oil based and a water-based cleanser greatly improved my skin texture and was excellent for removing a full face of makeup and impurities. However, the third cleanse with the Son and Park Beauty Water was meant for removing any remaining traces of make-up or debris. As I researched the Beauty Water more, I discovered that it was truly a multi-tasking product, which is always a bonus for me. Not only can it be used as a third cleanse toner at the end of the day, but it can also be used in the morning to prep the skin for makeup application, or anytime in the middle of the day to refresh the skin! Let’s see how this lovely multi-tasking toner fared for my skin.

[Review] MISSHA Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Borabit Ampoule

MISSHA Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Borabit Ampoule Review

MISSHA Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Borabit Ampoule Review:

Many of you know that a very important part of the Korean skincare regimen is the serum or the ampoule, because that is the active part of the skincare regimen that provides targeted results for specific skin concerns. This step is my personal favorite part of my skincare regimen because I can customize my serum for my immediate concern. As usual, anti-aging and prevention of fine lines/wrinkles is always at the top of my list. I like to switch things up in my routine, because using the same product can be a little boring for me. That’s when I came across the MISSHA Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Borabit Ampoule. Although the name is long and sounds complicated, the results are simple! The MISSHA Time Revolution Ampoule claims to reduce the signs of aging and increase the skin’s elasticity. The key ingredient for this claim is a fermented yeast known as Bifida Ferment Lysate. I decided to try out this product because I had not yet tried any skincare product with this fermented yeast ingredient, and I was curious to see how it would suit my skin. The yeast is key for anti-aging because not only does it address wrinkles and decreased skin elasticity, it also protects and repairs the skin overnight. MISSHA is a well known brand with cult favorite products, so I had faith in this ampoule. Let’s see how this ampoule lived up to its name.

[Review] Enature Birch Juice Hydro Sleeping Pack

Enature Birch Juice Hydro Sleeping Pack Review

Enature Birch Juice Hydro Sleeping Pack Review:

My skin tends to get very dehydrated and dry, even flaky during the harsh winter months. This winter was especially harsh on my skin because I traveled quite a bit for job interviews, so I went to cities with exceptionally colder weather than I am used to! I started to look for a sleeping pack that would lock in moisture so that I would also see results in the morning. With the typical sleeping packs I have used in the past, they are heavy and make me feel like I am getting a lot of moisture; however when I wake up in the morning my skin still feels dry.

I was fortunate enough to discover the brand Enature, which focuses on safe and natural ingredients while still providing cutting edge Korean beauty results. The sleeping packs that I have been using so far have all been water based. However, the primary ingredient of Enature Birch Juice Hydro Sleeping Pack is birch sap instead of water. The first and main ingredient listed is Betula Platyphylla Japonica Juice, which is the birch juice that is more hydrating than water. I have never used any skincare ingredient with birch juice before, so let’s see how it suited my skin.

Manefit Green Tea Pore Care Sheet Mask Review:

Let me start off by saying that I am a sheet mask fanatic and hoarder, and I definitely loving trying out any new sheet mask. I particularly like the cooling feeling of hydrogel type sheet masks, which is why I picked up this MANEFIT Green Tea pore care sheet mask. What I liked about this mask in particular is that it contains real particles of natural green tea infused inside the mask.

[Review] Erborian Glow Creme Illuminating Face Cream

Erborian Glow Creme Review

Erborian Glow Creme Illuminating Face Cream Review:

As someone with combination skin tending towards oily in the t zone, I am always weary of luminizing products because some of them can make you look extremely oily instead of radiant and glowy. Finding that perfect balance between radiance and oiliness is difficult, but when I started using the Erborian Glow Creme I was pleasantly surprised.

[Review] Goodal Phyto Wash Yerba Mate Bubble Peeling

Goodal Phyto Wash Yerba Mate Bubble Peeling Review

I originally received this as a one-time use sample, and just after one use I was hooked so I purchased Goodal Phyto Wash Yerba Mate Bubble Peeling on a whim. My skin immediately felt baby soft and smooth, and I always like investing in a product that shows me instant results. I was intrigued by yerba mate as an ingredient and by the formulation, which transforms from a clear serum to a foamy peel. Goodal as a brand also interested me because the focus is on natural beauty and natural ingredients in an effective skincare form.

Etude House Moistfull Collagen Emulsion Review

Etude House Moistfull Collagen Emulsion Review:

For the past year, I have gotten into the whole Korean beauty regimen because I wanted to start taking care of my skin before it was too late to reverse any damage. I’m a firm believer in PREVENTION of anti-aging, and the Korean skincare regimen certainly embodies that goal. At first it seemed daunting, especially having the 10 step routine and not knowing which products to use for each step. But after reading various blog posts, I understood the routine clearly. I can never resist skincare that can be snagged for a good steal!

I stumbled across Etude House Moistfull Collagen Emulsion one day on a website, I was intrigued. This product is a cult favorite, has rave reviews, and for $15 it is at a very affordable price point. I have also heard wonderful things about Etude House as a brand, so I knew I wanted to try them out. Etude House is known for cute packaging and high quality products, and the Etude House Moistfull Collagen Emulsion certainly lives up to that standard.
