The Face Shop Natural Sun Eco Clear Sunscreen Stick SPF50+ PA+++ Review:

A couple of months ago, I tried Missha’s new stick sunscreen and I liked it, but it kind of left me wanting for more, so I purchased this one too. Oh, and it’s from the face shop X the Simpson’s collaboration. Hah, totally didn’t notice (definitely the only reason I got this was because I needed something from the collection no matter what)…

[REVIEW] The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution Review

The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution Review:

What happens when you combine science, environmentalism and effective marketing? Boom, The Ordinary, a name that immediately became household even to people that don’t really care about skincare. That happened not only because their prices are the cheapest on the market but because they make products that actually work. No, The Ordinary didn’t invent new technologies that do magic on your skin. If you quickly google it you will find that there’s other brands with similar products. That’s not the main point though. The point is that The Ordinary made as effective products- if not more effective, for a tiny fraction of the price. In my opinion they are making a revolution. They are proving that skincare can be for everyone. If one brand is really doing a lot to make people’s skin better, that is The Ordinary.

Now jumping to this peel, out of all the actives I’d say AHA and vitamin C are the most well-known. About a year ago, I went through an ”I need actives to function properly” faze. I’m not really proud about it, but as soon as I saw 30% AHA it must’ve taken me less than 2 minutes to buy this peel. The reason is that AHA and BHA (which by the way actually works better on my skin), are known to be effective deep exfoliants that help with fighting acne and for improve the skin’s look.

[REVIEW] Korres Bellflower Tangerine Pink Pepper Shower Gel

Korres Bellflower Tangerine Pink Pepper Shower Gel Review

Korres Bellflower Tangerine Pink Pepper Shower Gel Review:

I bought this shower gel to use with the body milk of the same line, mostly because my skin is dry but also because I developed backne and I really needed a good, natural cleanser for my back. I was mostly convinced because tangerine is known to be a good antioxidant and has vitamin C that is also well known to fight acne. On top of that, the bellflower type that’s used in this gel is supposed to be the rarest out of them all, as it only grows on mount Olympus. I go to Olympus quite often and I’ve never seen it so I guess they’re not lying.

[REVIEW] LABIOTTE Code Derm Capsule Cleansing Water | Gentle

LABIOTTE Code Derm Capsule Cleansing Water Gentle Review

LABIOTTE Code Derm Capsule Cleansing Water Gentle Review:

Labiotte is a trend-setting popular brand in Korea. It’s the same brand that made everyone try the chateaux wine lip tints. It’s also the same brand that had the fine idea of making bear shaped sponges for their cushion and sharp-edged bottles.

This time they are back, of course with more extravagant packaging. I personally hardly ever treat myself to Labiotte products because I feel that a lot of thought (and a percentage of their budget) goes into the appearance of their products so they spend less on the formula of their products.

[REVIEW] Korres Bellflower Tangerine Pink Pepper Body Milk

Korres Bellflower Tangerine Pink Pepper Body Milk Review

Korres Bellflower Tangerine Pink Pepper Body Milk Review:

First of all, let’s start with an introduction. Korres is a Greek company that focuses on natural ingredients (just like all Greek beauty brands), and recently became popular internationally, with many major magazines like vogue, recommending their products.

My first ever skincare products were all Korres and I am still using a lot of their products, since they’re very easy to find, effective and also incredibly gentle to the skin. I bought this particular body milk because ever since I was a kid, I’ve had very dry knees and elbows. It is supposed to be ultra-moisturizing after all and when I tried it in a Korres shop, my skin was instantly different.

[REVIEW] The Face Shop Air Cotton Makeup Base SPF30 PA++ 01 Mint

The Face Shop Air cotton Makeup Base SPF30 PA++ 01 Mint Review

The Face Shop Air cotton Makeup Base SPF30 PA++ 01 Mint:

Now, anyone with acne will relate. Concealing acne is HARD! But thankfully, it’s doable (if you graduated from Hogwarts). In my case, I’m a bit lucky since I don’t have many bumps but a lot of redness. A popular way to conceal redness is colour correcting with green pigmentation. I tried it a couple of times in the past but I have many spots across my face and using a tiny product isn’t helping, so I thought I should try a green pigmented primer. I found this one at an affordable price and with a lot of great reviews so I thought I shall give it a try.

[REVIEW] Skinfood Bitter Green Toner & Mask

Skinfood Bitter Green Toner & Mask Review

Skinfood Bitter Green Toner & Mask Review:

No matter how much you break down the Korean beauty regime, you can’t cross out toning your face. The air pollution problem isn’t as big in the area I live in comparison to China or other places but, my skin is VERY sensitive to dust and germs. I could just go to the city center for an hour and next thing I know, my face is breaking out the following day.

This toner from Skinfood main marketing point is skin protection from dust and hazardous materials and also, moisture. Do you see where I’m going? Skinfood is one of the most reliable brands in my opinion so I thought this could possibly help me prevent new breakouts.

[REVIEW] New 2017 MISSHA All-around Safe Block Fresh Sun Stick SPF50+ PA+++

MISSHA All-around Safe Block Fresh Sun Stick SPF50+ PA+++ Review

MISSHA All-around Safe Block Fresh Sun Stick SPF50+ PA+++ Review:

Have you ever wished applying and re-applying sunscreen would be (even) simpler? Our fingers are one if not the dirtiest place on our body. With most sunblocks, we have to use our fingers to apply the product on our face. That usually isn’t as big of a problem but what if you’ve been outside of your house for 3 hours already, you have used the bus, your phone, multiple door handles etc..?

The more things you touch, the more germs and dirt your hands have. That means, the more chances you have to get a new pimple surprise on your beautiful face. There are couple of solutions for that, but I don’t want to be anxious all the time about finding a place to wash my hands, use antiseptic AND redo my makeup. And then I found this sun stick. It covers my needs of (kind of) hygienic sun protection so I thought I’d give it a try.

[REVIEW] Steblanc Aqua Fresh Gel Cream

Steblanc Aqua Fresh Gel Cream Review

Steblanc Aqua Fresh Gel Cream Review:

I was in need of a moisturizing cream to use at the end of my routine and seal all the previously used products in. I went online, I searched, I found one with a great discount, I bought. I wish this method had a happy ending for everyone but sadly it usually ends as a waste of money (trust me I’ve wasted a lot of money on random products because they had a discount… maybe I should check that..).

Thankfully this time it had a happy ending. All I knew about this brand was that it is somehow related to Mizon and I love Mizon so I had nothing to lose. Buying this cream was like I bought a lucky bag that gave me my money back.
