Banila co The Black 17 Sleeping Pack Review:
Apart from sheet masks, I collect a lot of sleeping packs and overnight masks since they provide intense nourishment and moisture, and of course, the idea of a sleeping pack working wonders for your skin while you sleep is such an endearing one. Waking up to more radiant skin is always a treat. However, I have never tried a black sleeping pack so I had my eyes on the Banila co The Black 17 Sleeping Pack, solely because I love gel-type sleeping packs and overnight masks as they do not leave my skin sticky or tacky.
The Banila co. The Black 17 Sleeping Pack boasts a whopping 17 “Super Black Food Ingredients” such as cacao, black bean, acai berry, blackberry, black sesame to soothe and nourish dull and stressed out skin.

Banila co The Black 17 Sleeping Pack Review:
I was really excited with the Banila co The Black 17 Sleeping Pack since I love any gel type sleeping pack. Also, I have never tried any skincare product with beans, cacao, berries and mushrooms in one tub so I was eager to see their effects on my skin.
From the tub, it seems black, shiny with blue beads but upon application, it was clear with a tinge of transparent, periwinkle. Inside the tub, the gel really looks like you are staring into something cosmic. My skin was not tainted with black or blue colors when I applied it.
The gel texture is cooling and refreshing however, it felt really sticky and tacky afterwards even 30 minutes after I massaged it into my face. I like the scent though, it was light and a bit floral, very delicate and nothing too strong.
When I woke up, my skin is still sticky and very tacky, maybe I should just wash it off to see the effects?
After washing off the sleeping pack, my skin felt moisturized but that’s about it. There was no radiant glow or a healthy glow just a nicely plump, hydrated face. I think drier types will benefit from this sleeping pack.
I was disappointed with the lackluster performance of this sleeping pack since I hoped that these 17 “Super Black Food Ingredients” can transform my skin overnight. Apparently, it just boosted hydration and I did not see any brightening effects.
I think I will repurpose this for my other body parts like elbows and knees or even maybe as a foot mask. Despite no allergies and irritations from this sleeping pack, I do not see why I should use this again as other than an occasional wash off mask, but I also have many wash off masks in my stash at the moment.
