[REVIEW] Innisfree My Hair Recipe Curl Up Hair Mist

Innisfree My Hair Recipe Curl Up Hair Mist Review:

I have a long straight hair for almost a whole of my life. However, one time, I decided to give my waist-long-virgin-hair a perm, which was a big deal because I heard managing permed hair is quite… time-consuming and requires effort. Anyway, I permed my hair and the hair stylist said I have to thoroughly twist my hair while drying to make the curl showed. But well, I’m lazy.

So, when I encountered Innisfree Curl Up Hair Mist specialized for permed hair, I directly grabbed one. It is said as a finishing hair mist with a protein recipe to hold firm curls and volume for permed and curly hair. How nice (grin).

[REVIEW] New 2017 Innisfree Derma Formula Micellar Cleansing Water Moist

[REVIEW] New 2017 Innisfree Derma Formula Micellar Cleansing Water Moist

Innisfree Derma Formula Micellar Cleansing Water Moist was purchased by Cosmeperks.

Innisfree has recently stepped up the game of cleansing waters by releasing two new ones – under this collection – each of those two for a different skin type. So, there is one for oily skin called “fresh” but when I tried it I didn’t feel it too different from their normal Green Tea cleansing water. Whereas when I tried this one I didn’t feel any sort of dryness, as if I removed my skin’s dirt and oil but somehow it was still moist. So of course I brought the “moist” one for dry skin.

The store actually advises the “fresh” version for dry and combination skin but we all have different priorities and the winter weather in Korea is extra dry – that’s how I justified my choice. Although the worry that all this moisture could cause a break out actually worried me, so I tested it for a long long time as I was concerned.

[REVIEW] Innisfree My Palette My Eyeshadow Shimmer & Glitter

[REVIEW] Innisfree My Palette My Eyeshadow Shimmer & Glitter

Innisfree My Palette My Eyeshadow Shimmer & Glitter Review:

I have a complete My Palette from Innisfree! Hurray! The lady at the store advised me what the brand considers the standard for cool skins (even though my skin undertone is arguable, probably a neutral) and they happened to have three of my favorite eyeshadow colors, and one I usually really dislike.

But, as I challenged myself to “just take what you’re suggested” and see how it looks on me, I took even that eyeshadow I disapproved of and brought these four babies home. I put them in my (very pretty) palette and started using them! Together the suggestion forms what they advise for Cool Winter skins.

[REVIEW] Innisfree Soybean Energy Neck Cream

[REVIEW] Innisfree Soybean Energy Neck Cream

Innisfree Soybean Energy Neck Cream Review:

We constantly strive to care for our face because this is what people notice at first sight. But we overlook its nearest neighbor, the neck. Other than the crow feet and wrinkles on the face, another tell-tale sign of one’s age is neck. The skin on the neck will also lose its elasticity over time and that is when vertical ridges (more pronounced when you speak) or horizontal neck lines make their appearances. And in today’s world of smart gadgets, where we often lower our heads gazing at our phones and tablets, wrinkled necks seem inescapable.

Skin on the face and neck differ, in that the latter has less hair follicles and oil glands. It is also less likely to be sensitive as compared to the face. Most of the time, people do not splurge on neck creams separately. They either overlook the application of skincare products on their neck, or they use the same face cream on it. I am one of these “most people”. I do not really give neck care much thoughts despite being aware that it does need attention too. So when I chanced upon the Innisfree Soybean Energy Neck Cream, which I feel is at a very affordable price for such a big jar, I decided to make a purchase to ease the guilt.

Innisfree My Hair Recipe Repairing Conditioner Review:

Other than my problematic skin, another thing that irks me is my hair. Healthy tresses are no less important than good skin. Unfortunately, by my own doing, my hair is rather damaged after many years of rebonding, perming and colouring.  It has not helped that I had not done much aftercare to my hair after every salon procedures in the past. You know this thing about being young and thinking you are invincible? Well, so now I face the woes of lack luster hair.

Sometime this year, Innisfree launched a new line of haircare called My Hair Recipe. There are a few series for this line – Moisturizing (for dry hair), Repairing (for damaged hair), Colour Care (for coloured hair) and Curl Up (for wavy hair). So I thought I will give it a try.

[REVIEW] NEW Innisfree My Blusher 20 & My Contouring 1

[REVIEW] NEW Innisfree My Blusher 20 & My Contouring 1

Innisfree My Blusher 20 & My Contouring 1 Review:

As I waked into the Innisfree store and came out with a full makeup set chosen by the employee and not by me, I tried the eye pencil first and the second thing I was most curious about was the blusher. I have only used cream blushers by Innisfree so this would be my first time with a powder one!

The contouring I wasn’t too excited, to be honest, because although I do enjoy highlighter I felt that contouring would be… awkward. But I tried that along with the blusher that was chosen for me, and I have thoughts I want to share!

[REVIEW] Innisfree Glow Tint Stick in shades 06 & 07

Innisfree Glow Tint Stick in shades 06 & 07 Review:

With all its Jeju nature and eco-friendly concept, Innisfree is easily one of my favourite brand. I tried Innisfree lip products previously and was impressed with the lip tint balm but not so much with the lipstick.

Anyway, when I visited Innisfree store, this Glow Tint Stick product was on 1+1 promotion, so I decided to give it a try. The line came with 13 different colours and I bought number 7 and 10. The price in Korean store is KRW 10,000 each.

[REVIEW] Innisfree Glow Tint Lip Balm in shade 5 Rose

[REVIEW] Innisfree Glow Tint Lip Balm in shade 5 Rose

Innisfree Glow Tint Lip Balm in shade 5 Rose Review:

My lips get easily dry in ANY weather despite of the super-humid summer in Korea. So lip balm is the carry-it-anywhere item of mine. I like to try various brands of cosmetic and since I am a fan of Innisfree with their Jeju natural concept, this one is no exception.

The Glow Tint Lip Balm directly caught my attention the day I visited Innisfree store. It is not only moisturizing balm but also give colour as tint, whereas tint usually makes my lips dry. So, this combination was challenging and I wanted to give it a try. The line has 5 option of colours but I chose the most intense one, #5 Rose (장미).
