[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Holika Holika Nudrop Dewy Stick 01 Bare Coral

Holika Holika Nudrop Dewy Stick 01 Bare Coral Review

Holika Holika Nudrop Dewy Stick 01 Bare Coral Review:

The NuDrop Dewy Stick is one of the new products belong to the NuDrop Collection from Holika Holika. Based on what they describe, it’s a moisturizing lipstick that will give you comfort and supple effect. I rarely use a moisturizing lipstick since it fades too fast for my liking but because their claims are too good to be true, I decided to try it to see if the claims are true or not. I have tried the Nudrop cream blusher form the same collection and to be honest I’m not too fond of that product. It fades too fast so I’m hoping the lipstick will last longer on me.

Holika Holika made the lipstick in only 4 shades but all of the shades are in natural color with warm undertones. I’m a big fan of natural lip color thus i had a hard time in choosing only one shade. If you are a fan of bold or dark lip color, then this collection may not be for you. Actually 4 shades is not enough but since the purpose is for ‘no makeup’ makeup look, I think it’s understandable (though I’d be happy if they include more shades).

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Holika Holika Nudrop Lumi Cheek 01 Caramel Luster

Holika Holika Nudrop Lumi Cheek 01 Caramel Luster Review

Holika Holika Nudrop Lumi Cheek 01 Caramel Luster Review:

Holika Holika is finally back again with their latest collection! After their ’Sparkly’ collection (which I’m not too fond of), Holika Holika launched a new collection, ’NuDrop’ with dewy and natural makeup for its theme. If I’m not mistaken it’s for the Summer collection and it consists of lipsticks, cream blushers, nail polishes, eyeshadow palettes, and some brushes. The collection intrigues me so much since I’m a fan of dewy makeup look so I purchased the blusher and the lipstick.

The blusher I got is a cream blush with hint of glitters. Actually I’m not a huge fan of cream blusher but most of the time if I want to have a natural makeup look, a cream blusher is way better than a powder one because it can give you a luminous and natural flush look. I think maybe Holika Holika put a wet, creamy blusher in the collection instead of a cushion/liquid because it’s easier to control and looks more natural on the skin.

I’m surprised to see this release from Holika because usually they put more effort into making the packaging instead of the quality itself (I’m sorry Holika!) but lately, they started to make more simple yet mature packaging along with high-quality products. I hope this new blusher will work wonder on my oily combination skin so let’s see.

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Holika Holika Jellime Highlighter 02 Feel So Champagne

Holika Holika Jellime Highlighter 02 Feel So Champagne Review

Holika Holika Jellime Highlighter 02 Feel So Champagne Review:

If you following beauty trend, then you must’ve heard about the famous jelly highlighter from Farsali, a very well-known beauty brand from America but it’s too expensive I won’t even buy it myself. Not long after, so many brands start to make their own version of the Jelly Highlighter but with a lot more affordable price. Because of curiosity, I decided to get the one from Holika Holika, a brand I already familiar with.

Holika Holika named their product Jellime Highlighter because it’s a highlighter in a slime texture. It’s bouncy and a little bit sticky and if you ever touch a slime, the texture is pretty much the same. I can say the texture is close to the ‘original’ one from Farsali but I don’t know about the quality since all the reviews I found are in Korean (and I don’t understand anything at all).

Jellime Highlighter is available in 3 shades and I think for a highlighter, the shades range is pretty good. There are pink, silver, and champagne colors and since highlighter shades are more universal, you can find any shade that will suit your skin tone. If I’m not mistaken, Holika Holika releasing this highlighter as a part of their ’Sparkly’ collection which consists of this highlighter along with sparkling liquid liners.

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Holika Holika Velvet Blanket Tint 01 Cream Rosy

Holika Holika Velvet Blanket Tint 01 Cream Rosy Review

Holika Holika Velvet Blanket Tint 01 Cream Rosy was purchased by Cosmeperks.

Korean brands started to release more lip creams, following the liquid lip trend all over the world. They tend to advertise it as ‘Velvet Tint’ or ‘Creamy Tint’ while the actual product is not a tint at all. If you follow Korean beauty trend, then you must’ve seen ton of road-shop brands releasing their own version of liquid lipsticks.

One of them is Holika Holika. They released Velvet Blanket Tint not too long ago and I’m so excited when Nigama offered me to try the product because it’s been in my wish list since the first time I saw it. It’s not a first time for Holika Holika to make a liquid lipstick but actually this time they seem to promote the product really well, I’ve seen a lot of reviews from Korean beauty bloggers all over the internet and YouTube.

They have 6 shades available to choose from and I have to say all the shades are so pretty. The shades are in the neutral side and I think it’s smart for Holika Holika to make these type of shades since these are ‘safe’ shades so everyone will curious and want to try all of the shades including me (I’m a sucker for these shades, it’s hard to choose only 1!).

[REVIEW] Holika Holika Good Cera Super Ceramide Emulsion

Holika Holika Good Cera Super Ceramide Emulsion Review

Holika Holika Good Cera Super Ceramide Emulsion Review:

Ceramides are something that always interest me, so I tend to be interested in products that mention or contain ceramides. I had never tried anything from Holika Holika either, but when I saw that they had this ceramide emulsion I became curious and had many questions. In the past I totally ignored emulsions because I never found one that worked well for me, that was until I tried the Dermatory Hypoallergenic Emollient. After having such a great experience with that emulsion, I was curious to see if another ceramide emulsion would work as well for me as the Dermatory one had.

Holika Holika had another version of this ceramide emulsion in the past, and then they reformulated it. But the previous version seemed to have great reviews and I noticed that this emulsion had three types of ceramides which made me instantly want to try it. I’ve been using this emulsion since May, and the other day I noticed that I had almost finished it, so it felt like the right time to do a review of it.

[REVIEW] Holika Holika Honey Sleeping Pack Canola

Holika Holika Honey Sleeping Pack Canola Review

Holika Holika Honey Sleeping Pack Canola Review:

For some unbeknownst to me reasons, last summer my skin decided to change its type. It went from fairly normal, maybe even a little on the oilier side, to the Sahara desert in a span of just a few weeks. To say that I panicked would be a huge understatement here. I suddenly needed to change my whole skincare routine!

I spent hundreds of dollars on western beauty products, however nothing worked. Quite the opposite, actually. My skin became even worse! I was desperate to find a solution and that‘s, my dears, is the story of how I got into Korean makeup and skincare. One of the first brands I got myself familiar with was Holika Holika. It‘s on the affordable side of the scale and was a great point to start from.

The Honey Canola Sleeping Pack was actually the first skincare product I bought from this brand. It wasn’t expensive compared to other products of the same category (I‘m pretty sure it was somewhere around 12USD), had great claims and was supposed to work like magic overnight. Considering my skin‘s condition at the time… I had nothing to lose.

[REVIEW] Holika Holika Sweet Peko Bun Puff

Holika Holika Sweet Peko Bun Puff Review

Holika Holika Sweet Peko Bun Puff Review:

The Sweet Peko collection is a collaboration between a famous Korean beauty brand Holika Holika with a female character called Peko from FUJIYA CO. LTD. From what I read before, Peko is a famous mascot and she was founded in Japan and FUJIYA themselves was known for their gourmet businesses.

When Holika Holika launched the Sweet Peko collection, I knew I had to get the bun puff because the packaging was so cute. I’m not quite sure why a Korean brand like Holika Holika can collaborate with a Japanese brand but I have to say that their products for the collab are very cute and have one of the best packaging I’ve ever seen from a Korean beauty.

I dislike any of beauty sponges aside from Beauty Blender, Real Techniques, and EcoTools because other sponges I’ve tried from drugstore were so hard and rough it felt so uncomfortable. They also tend to absorb more product and made the application look patchy but because of the cute the packaging, it’s the only reason I gave the Sweet Peko bun puff a chance.

[REVIEW] Holika Holika Peko Melty Jelly Lip Balm 02 Peach Berry

Holika Holika Peko Melty Jelly Lip Balm 02 Peach Berry Review

Holika Holika Peko Melty Jelly Lip Balm 02 Peach Berry Review:

About a week ago I shared about Holika Holika Peko Pure Essence Jelly Mask Sheet Strawberry and now I am back with another product from this sweet milky Peko collection. This is Holika Holika X Peko Melty Jelly Lip Balm. As guessed, I bought this lip balm because it’s CUTE, haha. It’s true, but other than that, I do need a new lip balm as I just finished my Innisfree My Lip Balm (it’s like a big achievement to me finishing 15 gram of a lip balm less than 3 months. It proves how great the product is and how I love it so much).

Holika Holika Peko Melty Jelly Lip Balm is not only cute but also provides dual color lip balm in one package (I assumed it would give both the moisture and attractive look on lips). It comes only in 2 shades. The Cherry Berry and Peach Berry. Both are pretty and tempting. But since I am still in orangeish mood lately, so I picked up the Peach Berry one.

[REVIEW] Holika Holika Peko Pure Essence Jelly Mask Sheet Strawberry Sweet Peko Edition

Holika Holika Peko Pure Essence Jelly Mask Sheet Strawberry Sweet Peko Edition Review

Holika Holika Peko Pure Essence Jelly Mask Sheet Strawberry Sweet Peko Edition Review:

I think I’ve just met the cutest collaboration from Holika Holika! Last month, the Korean beauty brand, Holika Holika, launched a collaboration with the cute and cheerful Japanese character, Peko Chan – a lip-licking girl with pigtails (a popular mascot from Fujiya Co). It’s Holika Holika X Peko collection!

As guessed, I was extremely excited when saw Holika Holika’s feed on Instagram about this cute collection. They launched Sweet Milky Peko edition for their Hard Cover Cushion, Water Drop Tint Bomb, Eyeshadow Palette, No Sebum Pact, Melty Jelly Lipbalm, Blusher, and many more. They even have cute Milky Peko beauty tools like Bun Puff, Cushion Puff, Nail Fit Sticker and more. Everything is cute overload in this special collaboration. And, of course, they easily got my attention as I am a sucker for cute things.

The first product I tried from this collection was the jelly mask sheet. Aside from its cute packaging, I actually wanted to know about how this jelly mask sheet works. I think it’s my first time trying out a mask sheet with jelly essence type. So, let’s meet and play with the cute Peko, our forever-6-year-old friend!
