[REVIEW] PURITO Centella Green Level Recovery Cream

PURITO Centella Green Level Recovery Cream Review

PURITO Centella Green Level Recovery Cream Review:

PURITO might not be a newcomer in the Korean skincare industry, and its motto to be a safe product somehow enhances people’s curiosity toward them. Note well that the brand PURITO comes from ‘purify’ (to purify natural ingredients to create safe and clean products) and ‘to’ (to go back to basic in order to strengthen and repair collapsed skin barriers). The brand itself had been quite popular since 2018, but I didn’t feel any desires to try it due to some personal preferences.

However, I was quite intrigued to try PURITO products due to its popularity as well as my concern to use products which main ingredient is anything but water. My first experience with PURITO was its Snail Repair Advanced Serum which I bought only a month before I unexpectedly ran out of my daily moisturizer too.

There were two options I considered; PURITO Deep Sea Water Cream and PURITO Centella Green Level Recovery Cream. No particular reason why I choose PURITO Centella Green Level Recovery Cream, so I still contemplate to buy the other one after this product ran out. I sincerely hoped this one wouldn’t be a flash in the pan, or else I wouldn’t try any PURITO products again considering my experience with PURITO Snail Repair Advanced Serum.

[REVIEW] PURITO Snail Repair Advanced Serum

PURITO Snail Repair Advanced Serum Review

PURITO Snail Repair Advanced Serum Review:

PURITO brand has been quite a hype nowadays, isn’t it? It proclaims the products to be nature-friendly and safe, as well as the concepts. I’ve been contemplating to try some products of PURITO’s since both my moisturizer and morning serum were running out, but finally decided to buy PURITO serum first since my previous ELIZAVECCA CF-Nest 97% B-jo Serum diminished faster than I thought.

Besides PURITO Snail Repair Advanced Serum, I also considered PURITO Hyaluronic Acid Serum and PURITO Green Level Buffet Serum. This one finally prevailed because (1) its main ingredient is Snail Secretion Filtrate instead of water (like in PURITO Green Level Buffet Serum); and (2) its concern toward repairment which I really need while battling with pollution.

[REVIEW] Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner

Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner Review

Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner Review:

These days, Isntree has been booming in the Asian Beauty community with their simple no-frills skincare products. They first garnered popularity with their famous Hyaluronic acid toner which I also thoroughly enjoyed, resulting in me falling in love with the brand.

Isntree’s Green Tea Fresh Toner on the other hand, appealed to me due to it being a light watery toner which I find more ideal for daytime use for combo or oily-skinned folks, especially those living in countries with high humidity all year long.

[REVIEW] SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Asiatica Cream

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Asiatica Cream Review

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Asiatica Cream Review:

Beauty trends may revolve and changes every now and then, including the star ingredients in beauty products. There were times when almost all brands suddenly developed products with snail mucin, aloe vera, galactomyces, etc. Looking back in 2018, I think centella asiatica is the star ingredient! So many beauty brands invented new products with centella asiatica in their formulation and it became one of the selling points. No wonder, centella asiatica (also known as tiger grass or ‘pegagan’) has been famous for generations as medication that soothes skin damages, hydrates, and reduces uneven skin tones.

With all the hype marketing, of course I fell into Skin1004 Centella Asiatica Cream when it was launched! I couldn’t find many reviews on this moisturizer because Skin1004 is more famous for its Madagascar Cenetella Asiatica ampoule and whenever I Googled, reviews for the ampoule popped up. From the few reviews I found, they said Skin1004 Cream is lightweight and non-sticky, so as a normal-to-oily skin bearer, I chose to go with it. A week later, Skin1004 Centella Asiatica Cream arrived to my house.

[REVIEW] A’PIEU Madecassoside Cica Gel

A’PIEU Madecassoside Cica Gel Review

A’PIEU Madecassoside Cica Gel Review:

As I constantly struggle with hormonal cystic acne, I try not to use heavy creams that are oil based, especially in the summer time. Now that it’s getting warmer in Canada, I am starting to breakout more. I was eagerly looking for a gel cream to not only hydrate but heal my skin, and I came across the A’pieu Madecassoside Cica Gel.

A’pieu is really famous for their Madecassoside line. They have a massive skincare range from toners and ampoules to creams and cleansing foams. I am an avid user of the Madecassoside sun cream and I absolutely adore it, but I’ll save that for another review.

The gel comes in a tub and a tube that are both 50ml. I chose the tube version for sanitary purposes as I don’t like the idea of dipping my fingers in.

[REVIEW] BLACKROUGE Cica Green Sun Cream SPF50+ PA++++

BLACKROUGE Cica Green Sun Cream SPF50+ PA++++ Review

BLACKROUGE Cica Green Sun Cream SPF50+ PA++++ Review:

I was always on the hunt for a good physical sunscreen, until now. It’s difficult to find one that doesn’t give a white cast and applies smoothly. Sadly, there isn’t a lot of options especially in the Korean beauty industry.

The ones I have tried in the American beauty industry either has too much white cast, is very thick, and is too expensive. While I was scrolling and doing my research on sunscreen, I came across this product. It is known to have Centella Asiatica and is physical sunscreen. So, I thought it would be a good candidate to try!

[REVIEW] Goodal Green Tangerine Vita C Dark Spot Serum

Goodal Green Tangerine Vita C Dark Spot Serum Review

Goodal Green Tangerine Vita C Dark Spot Serum Review:

I needed a good Vitamin C serum that would help me with my hyperpigmentation. I usually use Dear Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop, but it seemed like it wasn’t doing much for me. I wanted to make sure that it was a serum type that was easy to use.

I didn’t want the hassle of worrying about the discoloration and having to put it into the refrigerator. When I saw this product online, I was aware of the hype. Many people talked endlessly about how great and effective this product was. Which brought me to the question, is it worth the hype?

Cosrx Balancium Comfort Ceramide Cream Review

Cosrx Balancium Comfort Ceramide Cream Review:

I needed a new product as a moisturizer, since the one I was using was too heavy and made my skin very oily towards the end of the day. Coincidentally, I came across Morgan Stewart’s video where she talked about this product. Since I always trust her recommendations, I decided to place this item into the cart (with bunch of other items).

[REVIEW] MIZON Water Volume EX First Essence Hydra Tox

MIZON Water Volume EX First Essence Hydra Tox Review

MIZON Water Volume EX First Essence Hydra Tox Review:

A quite long product name, isn’t it? Well, the long name clearly states this product’s focus on moisturizing while having watery texture. Personally, I didn’t pay any attention to this product’s full name before buying it. Since this MIZON Water Volume EX First Essence Hydra Tox was on sale while I was window-online-shopping and I ran out of my previous first essence, Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence, I decided to buy this without thinking twice. Typically a woman, really. Tee-hee. It was only after the first usage that I read this product’s claim, which indirectly targets the dry-skin bearers. Oops, did I just make a wrong choice?
