[REVIEW] A’Pieu Madecassoside Ampoule

A'pieu Madecassoside Ampoule Review

A’Pieu Madecassoside Ampoule Review:

It starts with the name. It’s as simple as it is. We like cool and creative names but, let’s face it, it’s more practical to call a product by what it is! For example, you wouldn’t say “Benton Goodbye Redness Centella Mask Pack” all the time, you would just say “Benton Centella Mask” or something.

With this name there is no going wrong. I also like the design, which matches the collection completely. And the simple promise of skin protection. But does the A’Pieu Madecassoside Ampoule perform as well as it sells?

[REVIEW] COSRX AC Collection Calming Liquid Mild

COSRX AC Collection Calming Liquid Mild Review

COSRX AC Collection Calming Liquid Mild Review:

Recently COSRX released a new range of skincare products called the AC Collection for acne-prone skin and this seem pretty good to be true. As someone who has always been combating with acne-prone skin, this seem like a godsend. With a name like “Calming Liquid Mild”, this particular product stood out to me from the Cosrx AC Collection.

Not only that, since I was also looking to replace my previous toner that is COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner. I was searching for something that would be more moisturizing. Before purchasing, I usually do some online research to find out more about the ingredients and check if it is appropriate for my skin type. Did this product live up to my expectations? Here is my review on the Calming Liquid Mild toner.

[REVIEW] It’s Skin Tiger Cica Calming Serum

It's Skin Tiger Cica Calming Serum Review

It’s Skin Tiger Cica Calming Serum Review:

Rated quite highly on Hwahae (currently 4.43/5 stars) and not seeing it as readily available locally as the brand’s other lines at the time, I was excited to get my hands on the It’s Skin Tiger Cica Calming Serum when I traveled to Seoul early last year. And despite some initial hesitation, the sales assistant managed to convince me enough to warrant a buy (also helps that this specific line was on sale!); but, did it live up to my expectations?

[REVIEW] COSRX AC Collection Calming Foam Cleanser

COSRX AC Collection Calming Foam Cleanser Review

COSRX AC Collection Calming Foam Cleanser Review:

Cosrx is a cult favorite. Of course no exceptions, I’ve been converted into a fan of Cosrx for a while ever since I switched over to the brand. Their products has really helped to heal my breakout that I was suffering from due to stress and all. Not only that it’s quite affordable!

Recently, I ran out of cleanser and was looking to replace my Good Morning Low ph Gel cleanser. While searching, I saw that Cosrx released a new AC Collection targeting acne-prone skin.Since, I was in need of a new cleanser so I decided to get it.

Is this going to top the most-raved about Good Morning Low ph Gel cleanser as the next HG? I researched online but couldn’t find much reviews on it. But since it is a line that targets acne-prone skin it should be good right?

[REVIEW] Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Serum

Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Serum Review

Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Serum Review:

SOME BY MI was really a hit in 2018. Their 30 Days Miracle Line was very popular due to the amazing claim of repairing skin condition in 30 days. The 30 Days Miracle Line consists of bar soap, toner, serum, and cream. I didn’t give any serious attention to the brand until I almost ran out of my The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%. I was looking for an affordable serum, with safe ingredients, which can help with the appearance of my pores. My nose and cheek pores are wide open, with some visible blackheads T_T

I did my searching online and found that one way to reduce the pores’ appearance is by using AHA or BHA to clear whiteheads and blackheads. Thus, SOME BY MI AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Serum grabbed my attention since it contains AHA, BHA, PHA as chemical exfoliator and Tea Tree & Centella Asiatica Extract to help soothing the skin and taming acne.

[REVIEW] Nature Republic Snail Solution Skin Booster

Nature Republic Snail Solution Skin Booster Review

Nature Republic Snail Solution Skin Booster Review:

I must admit I am one of Nature Republic’s loyal customers because of EXO (apparently, they endorsed Nature Republic products) and while I was curiously scanning their store as to what products they offer, I stumbled across this gem. I am already familiar with the benefits of Snail Secrete and how it is widely used as a remedy for tons of common skin problems. And as one with a stubbornly oily and acne prone skin, I was very hopeful with this product.

[REVIEW] Heimish Low pH Hydrating Mask Sheet

Heimish Low pH Hydrating Mask Sheet Review

Heimish Low pH Hydrating Mask Sheet Review:

Doesn’t this product name make you curious? As a matter of fact, it does to me. Heimish Low pH Hydrating Mask Sheet emphasizes to have pH level of 5.5 (±0.5) that even the cover is full of number 5 and 5 linked, not the brand or product name like other sheet masks.

Moreover, I had no experience with Heimish products before. So I got attracted to (1) Heimish brand, and (2) how it claims to make skin healthy by giving the dream skin which pH level is 5 – 6.

[REVIEW] Neogen Dermalogy Real Cica Pad

Neogen Dermalogy Real Cica Pad Review

Neogen Dermalogy Real Cica Pad Review:

This review has been a long time coming since I first bought it when it first launched in Seoul earlier this year. Unfortunately, as this tub is quite bulky and I couldn’t bring it with me on some trips, it led to inconsistent use, so I allowed ample time for me to use it consistently before I decided to finally sit down and offer my thoughts on this raved about product. I’m not one to give in to much hype, but when I was caught up in the “cica craze”, this product seemed like a total must have product, what with its claims and nice ingredients list. But, did it live up to my expectations?

[REVIEW] Mamonde Day Relief BB Cream SPF 50+ PA+++ Light Beige

Mamonde Day Relief BB Cream SPF 50 PA Light Beige Review

Mamonde Day Relief BB Cream SPF 50+ PA+++ Light Beige Review:

Mamonde is actually a brand that I don’t know much about, of course I’ve heard their name a lot but I still didn’t know much about them. I always think of their products having lots of floral components and concepts. I’ve also seen their name or products advertised in dramas, but usually when I’m watching a drama I don’t pay much attention to the products advertised. Lately I’ve been quite curious about their products and was debating which one to try until I saw that they had released a new line of BB creams.

They actually came out with three new BB creams, but I chose this one because according to Mamonde it is best suited for dry skin. Mamonde actually released these several months ago, but I was unsure if I should try this one or one of the other types. The fact that it comes in one shade – light beige, made me unsure too.

But the fact that it should be pink toned made me curious. All of the previous bb creams I’ve tried that are meant to have a pink undertone have been various shades of orange and yellow on me at least. So, you could say I partly tried this to see what kind of undertone it had and to see if it was also yellow/orange on me too. I was hopeful that Mamonde would prove me wrong and that I might even find a decent bb cream out of this experiment.
