[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Missha Ice Drop Tint My Some Coral

Missha Ice Drop Tint My Some Coral Review

Missha Ice Drop Tint My Some Coral Review:

Summer’s almost over but Missha still place their latest release, the Ice Drop Tint on their official website main page. I don’t need another lip tint but with the cute design, promising claims, and colorful shades selection, I can’t resist and finally purchased one of the 5 shades.

Ice Drop Tint is described as a tint with smooth texture and hydrating yet long lasting at the same time. If it’s true to its claim, then I’ll be so happy since it’s a bit hard to find a hydrating and long lasting tint since most of the hydrating one tends to wear off faster than the matte one.

If you love colorful, summer-y vibe lip color, I’m sure you will like this tint’s shade range. They only has 5 but all of those are so bold and bright, the type of colors you would want to wear on summer. It may be too bright for some people but among those 5 shades, there are two shades that I think is still wearable for daily uses (even if it’s not summer).

[REVIEW] COSRX Blackhead Power Liquid

COSRX Blackhead Power Liquid Review

COSRX Blackhead Power Liquid Review:

Having really oily skin and big pores, and also being in a humid climate like Singapore, has caused my skin to be peppered with blackheads and tiny clogged pores. To solve this problem, I have searched high and low for a suitable product that would provide oil control and not dry out my skin at the same time. I came across the COSRX blackhead power liquid, which is a chemical exfoliator.

JAYJUN Real Water Brightening Black Cream Review:

I came upon this cream while browsing on Yestyle, and decided to give it a try since it was on sale. I’ve had a good history with Jayjun’s sheet masks so I was curious as to whether their skincare line was just as good.

[REVIEW] Celderma Crystal Skin Mask

Celderma Crystal Skin Mask Review

Celderma Crystal Skin Mask Review:

Do you know who is the queen advertising these masks? Song Jihyo from Running Man! I’m a huge fan (of her as an actress, I’m just aware she’s more famous for Running Man), and I thought her skin was so much better when Banila Co made her a project and had her have no makeup but proper skin care. From then on I thought if Song Jihyo swears by a product it may actually be effective.

Anyway, that’s what drove me to try Celderma, which is the brand she endorses now. This specific mask promotes Glass Skin, and let’s face it, that’s one thing Jihyo had far ahead of her time! I want to try glass skin too.

[REVIEW] Guerisson 9 Complex Moisture Balancing Cream

Guerisson 9 Complex Moisture Balancing Cream Review

Guerisson 9 Complex Moisture Balancing Cream Review:

Horse oil was one of the ingredients that I never wished to ever use on my skin. However, after using a routine with multiple steps that never seemed to help my skin, I got to the point where I decided to just try horse oil and see if it would help my skin. It felt like I could never find a moisturizer that was heavy enough for my skin, or a routine that actually did something.

So almost a year ago, I decided to reset my routine and so I cut everything out of it except my sunscreen and the Guerisson 9 Complex cream. It was risky, considering I never had tried the cream before and I was replacing a ten-step routine with two items. I expected my skin to look even worse that before, but what surprised me was that my skin looked no worse (and no better) but considering I was only use two items it was still surprising to me.

After that I slowly introduced a few new products, and what I found was that the Guerisson 9 Complex cream was the best cream I had ever used (despite me not wanting to use horse oil… heh). It was actually heavy enough for my skin and perfect, and my skin looked the best it had looked in years. Anyway, so that was the original 9 complex cream. When I was using my second jar of it I looked at the Guerisson website and found out that they had reformulated and the cream and added a new cream to the line-up. I was honestly a bit upset, but also curious to find out about the new cream.

The new Guerisson 9 Complex cream is the one in this review – the Moisture Balancing cream. The other two creams (the original one and the ginseng one) had the formula’s changed slightly although I’m not sure what has been changed. I never intended to try the moisture balancing cream, but as I said I was curious about it, so I looked up to see what was different from the regular one. Well it turned out that instead of just horse oil this one contains five types of ceramides! If that doesn’t sound like heaven for dry and dehydrated skin, I don’t know what would. Plus, I found out this one was designed for dehydrated skin, so honestly it sounded so perfect that I just had to try it out.

[REVIEW] Innisfree Blueberry Rebalancing Cream (New Packaging)

Innisfree Blueberry Rebalancing Cream Review

Innisfree Blueberry Rebalancing Cream Review:

This cream, just like the same line’s cleansing foam, is exactly the same as the previous version, and only the package was updated. As you can see by the package, I have the previous version, but below I’ll post an image of the new version with comparisons for you.

Anyway, this cream, as the name says, aims to rebalance the skin. I really loved the Blueberry cleanser and I have high expectations for this cream too!

[REVIEW] Clio Nudism Moist Fit Powder Pact 02 Lingerie

Clio Nudism Moist Fit Powder Pact 02 Lingerie Review

Clio Nudism Moist Fit Powder Pact 02 Lingerie Review:

As a girl with a very oily T-zone, to set that area with a powder is a must. My cheeks area has dry patches so mainly I use powder only on the T-zone, chin, a little bit on the outer part of my cheek (just to set the foundation so blush, bronzer, and highlighter can be applied more smoothly), and under eyes area to set my concealer.

I had tried so many powders, from compact powder to loose powder but so far I found that my skin hates loose powder. It’s too drying and emphasis my textures while for compact powder, they are too cakey and I found only one powder that looks good on my skin but unfortunately it’s too expensive and I can’t keep purchasing it.

When I was searching for a good Korean powder (since it’s more affordable and easy to get), I saw Clio has a ‘Moist Powder’ as part of their Nudism collection. I knew Nudism cushion is really popular but I never saw anyone talking about this powder but based on their website, the powder seems to have a moist effect and won’t make skin looks dry. They claim this powder will suit every skin type, even dry skin because it contains essence that gives moisture while it mattifies the skin at the same time. I was really excited to find a powder with a skincare benefit!

They only have 3 shades and from the picture, I’m pretty sure the shades are good for fair to light-medium skin tones. Not rare for a Korean brand but usually Clio has wider shade range so it’s a bit unexpected for them to have 3 shades only.

[REVIEW] The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA

The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA Review

The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA Review:

Admittedly, I always tend to stray away from most hyped up things in fear of being disappointed and/or underwhelmed. Hence, the main reason why I’m only now offering up a review for one of The Ordinary’s various skincare products; this in particular being a destashed item from my friend as she found it to not work for her (allergic reactions, irritation, etc). Thinking that it’d be worth a try considering my penchant for anything targeting pigmentation issues (arbutin is a well-known skin brightening agent!), I decided to put it to the test. Would the YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary) rule ring true?

[REVIEW] Innisfree Seaweed Soothing Mask Sheet Moist Soothing Sargassaceae

Innisfree Seaweed Soothing Mask Sheet Moist Soothing Sargassaceae Review

Innisfree Seaweed Soothing Mask Sheet Moist Soothing Sargassaceae Review:

Lately I have been using a lot of masks made out of seaweed, since it’s a fashion currently in Korea. I must say beforehand this mask has nothing to do with the Mamonde Seaweed Dustcut mask! I mean, maybe a little, after all it’s seaweed, but there are other masks this is more similar to. Seaweed should be good for the summer, and Jeju is the place in Korea with the most (and the best) natural resources – so Innisfree being a Jeju brand it’s no use they used Jeju seaweed. Although you may be surprised with the other ingredients in the mask, and their origins.
