[REVIEW] Secret Key Lemon Sparkling Peeling Pad

Secret Key Lemon Sparkling Peeling Pad Review

Secret Key Lemon Sparkling Peeling Pad Review:

Yay, it’s a Secret Key product again for me! I’ve always find their products are attractive, mainly because its down-to-earth price doesn’t mean a ‘just so-so’ quality. I was looking for a new physical exfoliator product back then, since my previous one almost wore off, and I found the method of using peeling pads was quite interesting.

There were a lot of options, though, from Neogen to COSRX, but I finally bought this one : Secret Key Lemon Sparkling Peeling Pad. It was due to the price, honestly *chuckling* and the fact that Secret Key Lemon Sparkling Peeling Gel from the same line was perfect for me.

[REVIEW] Purito Centella Green Level Eye Cream

Purito Centella Green Level Eye Cream Review

Purito Centella Green Level Eye Cream Review:

I first heard of Purito on an online forum, and at first the cute name sparked my interest but I didn’t think too much more about the brand. It was only when I was on the hunt for a new eye cream that I came across Purito again. It’s my habit to look up a bunch of products and then look at the ingredients and to see if there are any reviews about them too. I noticed that all the reviews I found raved about this eye cream and most people seemed to find it worked really well for them.

Naturally I wanted to try it as well, but it was only when I realized it had peptides and 49% centella asiatica that I finally decided to order it. It seemed to work well for other people at moisturizing their undereye area and I hoped it would work well for me too. Often, I find my sunscreen dries out the undereye area and causes fine lines (they only appear with some sunscreens) so I really want to find an eye cream that can combat this problem. Of course, it’s not something that can be resolved so quickly, but now that I’ve almost finished the tube I should be able to see some kind of result, right?

[REVIEW] Celderma Make Up Quick Priming Mask

Celderma Make Up Quick Priming Mask Review

Celderma Make Up Quick Priming Mask Review:

I will come right out and say it: I’m not sure I buy this whole priming mask thing. But I am very intrigued by it being a quick mask that is done in up to five minutes, and that is an enough selling point for me! Of course I will be judging it also regarding the priming abilities and it better surprise me because if it has priming in the name I expect it to do as much of a good job as my priming sun cream. At least.

[REVIEW] PINK BY PURE BEAUTY So Smooth Pudding Cream

PINK BY PURE BEAUTY so smooth Pudding Cream Review

PINK BY PURE BEAUTY so smooth Pudding Cream Review:

Well, an unfamiliar product name and brand, isn’t it? I don’t know if you ever heard about this product, but I never knew ‘PINK BY PURE BEAUTY so smooth Pudding Cream’ was sold by my usual Korean products’ sellers. Despite its label of ‘Made in Korea’, I found it widely promoted in Watsons Malaysia.

It comes with a big family of PINK BY PURE BEAUTY; pink pore toner, pore perfection peeling pads, pink pore foam cleanser, pink skin so glow essence, and many more. They caught my attention due to their soft pink-and-black packaging and various range of products, so I decided to give ‘PINK BY PURE BEAUTY so smooth Pudding Cream’ a try after spreading the tester on the back of my hand.

[REVIEW] Innisfree Moist UV Protection Cream Winter Barrier SPF50+ PA++++

Innisfree Moist UV Protection Cream Winter Barrier SPF50+ PA++++ Review

Innisfree Moist UV Protection Cream Winter Barrier SPF50+ PA++++  was purchased by Cosmeperks.

I was very excited to first hear of a sun cream specific for winter, and even more so when I saw it had a super high SPF. Everyone, and that includes “skin care gods” like Koreans, thinks they are safe in the winter, that the sun will not get them. Here in Korea it’s especially difficult to recognize the difference between a cloudy day or a polluted day – unless you are sensitive, asthmatic, or have an app that gives you air notifications.

So whereas I accept that in cloudy days people may be deceived into thinking the sun “is okay”, here we have more polluted days than cloudy ones. And in the dry winter how can I use the anti-sebum sun creams I use in the summer?

So with a sun cream for this especially difficult season, of course it spiked my interest. Weirdly enough it isn’t as popular here as I thought it would be!

[REVIEW] Cosrx Light Fit Real Water Toner to Cream

Cosrx Light Fit Real Water Toner to Cream Review

Cosrx Light Fit Real Water Toner to Cream was purchased by Cosmeperks.

Lately Cosrx seems to be on fire and releasing a lot of new products! Which honestly is quite exciting, because well I’ve always been a fan of their products. So, when Nigama asked me if I wanted to try this new product of theirs, I was instantly curious. Why was I instantly curious, you might wonder, well because of the name! Is it a toner or a cream? A mix of the two? Something like an emulsion? Well, these kinds of questions were going through my head, and honestly, I do like to try new products, especially those that I am curious about.

First of all, I wanted to find out what kind of product it was. The name is confusing to me, and well I wasn’t sure if I was getting a toner, emulsion or a cream. Apparently, this can be used as either a toner or a cream, depending on your skin type. To me that sounds bizarre, I mean how can a product really be either a cream or a toner? But I guess what Cosrx means is that if you have dry or dehydrated skin, you can use this product as a toner. But those with combination or oily skin can use it as a cream. Honestly though, I still must admit I am sceptical about how a product can be either a toner or a cream.

[REVIEW] The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2 B5 Review

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Review:

Who has never heard The Ordinary brand before? Well, I’m sure everybody ever heard at least once. The Ordinary is such a hype; there’re many reasons for it, though. Maybe because of its economical price, or its specific claim for only particular problem of your skin, or because of its after-usage effect. That’s why I decided to give it a try.

[REVIEW] Etude House Therapy Air White Flowers Sheet Mask

Etude House Therapy Air White Flowers Sheet Mask Review

Etude House Therapy Air White Flowers Sheet Mask Review:

When I first heard that Etude House had discontinued their old Etude House masks, I was quite disappointed because there were so many sheet masks I liked a lot (ginseng and rice). Because I was quite disappointed, I didn’t try the new air therapy masks for some time. When I did try them I must admit that I did like the way they felt and the effects of them. But because I still had many old masks, I wasn’t tempted to buy any until I saw they had new varieties – I’ll admit it was the cherry blossom that first interested me.

The new sheet masks came in a set of three varieties – cherry blossom, white flowers and madecassoside. The madecassoside mask has already been reviewed by Ana B. At first, I wasn’t at all interested in the white flowers mask, until I saw that it contains extracts from five different flowers and also contains niacinamide and liquorice extracts. Both are good for skin brightening. You could say that this mask was the one that I didn’t really notice or care about, until I actually looked closer at it. After all a sheet mask designed to brighten and moisturize sound really good to me.
