When I was searching for a Vitamin C serum to address my post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation concerns, I was looking for an affordable product that delivered visible results. I also have skin that can be sensitive at times, and I knew I did not want a formulation that was too harsh or caused any stinging. When I was searching for mild Vitamin C serums, I came across Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Serum. Let’s see how it fared for my skin.
Guerisson 9 Complex Horse Oil Cream Review:
I got this last year during the extreme winter. It was cold and dry, and my skin was flaking even on the oily parts. Well, let me tell you, with a skin as sensitive as mine when it starts to flake you forget everything else and deal with that first – otherwise everything will burn when you apply it, you cannot wear makeup because it looks ghastly, and the other skin treatments you do will take way longer to have any effect.
And with an emergency like that I went crazy and decided to use an animal product! I know, it’s not much to most of you, but it is the first time I ever used any animal-based product. I had heard amazing things about Guerisson 9 Complex Horse Oil Cream, and decided to try it. Let’s see if it is really worth the heap.
I chanced upon the brand LEADERS sometime last year. I was walking in the beauty section when I passed through a basket full of colorful and cute packed masks. I was very hesitant to get Leaders Insolution Vita Bright Skin Renewal Mask because honestly, I’ve never heard of it before. I am very careful with what I use on my face because it is a bit sensitive and breaks out quite easily.
At the back of mind, however, these masks really looked adorbs and gave me the science-y feels with all the syringes so I grabbed a couple to try. Another thing that made me buy it is the fact that it isn’t cheap (the cheapest kind I saw is about $2). Pardon me but more often than not, I have this notion that if something is pricey, it must be effective or at least safe to use. It may not be true for most cases but my logic is just distorted like that. I love the results I got from my first buys so I always buy different variants from the same brand to test how they work for my skin.
SOO AE Freeset Donkey Milk Skin Gel Brightening Mask Review:
Milk is a great skincare ingredient for brightening, softening and evening out skin tone, but what about Donkey Milk? According to the Soo Ae website, Donkey Milk was used by the great Egyptian Queen Cleopatra and apparently bathed in it.
Her flawless skin is attributed to Donkey Milk, resulting in a luminous glow. SOO AE Freeset Donkey Milk Skin Gel Brightening Mask is soaked in donkey milk and vitamins to reveal more radiant and supple skin.
Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Green Tea Review:
I always use Innisfree masks when I get the chance, since they are cheap and usually quite good, at least for me. Today what happened was that I did a peeling on my face and my face started hurting like hell. I’m not going to get into details, but obviously I needed something to soothe down my skin after such pain. I thought of the things that usually work – aloe, cucumber, green tea. I chose the last one, since it is the one I haven’t used for quite some time.
Hada Labo Koi-Gokujyun UV White Gel Review:
Hada Labo is the first skincare line that I purchased when I started my Asian Beauty (AB) journey. At that time, I was looking for something that moisturizes and hydrates, and Hada Labo instantly pops up as they are well-known for their Super Hyaluronic Acid. I ended up buying their cleanser, their famous hydrating lotion, a moisturizer and also this UV White Gel.
Nature Republic AQUA Max Watery Toner & Emulsion Review:
As you can imagine just by reading my skin type, it is a very troublesome skin. I started having acne at age 9, then, while still having it, my skin became allergic, sensitive, mixed oily and dry, and all before I even had my period! As times passed and I started finding out what is good and bad on my skin and it became more controllable and now most people can’t even imagine any of those things by looking at my skin. Which is a good thing!
My first trick is to always, at any given time, have emergency lotion in the house. A lotion focused on hydrating, without making my skin oilier, something nice and calming, and with a nice smell. Something I can use on the worst skin days.
I have tried and been satisfied with two Korean products when it comes to that, and this one is the only I still use.
Now, let me tell you, Nature Republic is like Tony Moly – usually you love some stuff and hate others, but they are cheap so you can always give them a try.
I have heard bad reviews, or disappointed reviews regarding the cream on this Aqua max line(but also lots of good reviews). But never regarding the Nature Republic Aqua Max Watery Toner & Emulsion that we are seeing here today.
Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner Review:
I’ve been hooked up with Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner since the first time I saw Wishtrend’s youtube video. The introduction to this product looked so promising and I was in need of new toner at that time. The toner is targeted for those who want to add moisture to the skin that might be stripped away during the cleansing process.
I chose hydrating toner over exfoliating toner because at this moment, I want to treat my dehydrated skin condition and I think to use exfoliating toner every day may be too harsh for my skin. So, I need to suck in all the moisture as much as I can. Read more to find how this toner fared me.
OOZOO Face Injection Mask Review:
In the K-Beauty community, OOZOO is known for their high-quality moisturizing masks with cute and interesting packaging. The cool, gimmicky thing about this mask’s packaging is the plastic syringe filled with an essence to add to the mask. Read more to find if this mask is really worth or not.
