[REVIEW] Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream

Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream Review

Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream Review:

Okay, so this is not a new product. But it is a classic from the permanent and most famous collection of Laneige. And I can’t believe it took me 4 years to try this! I am disappointed in myself and so surprised with this cream, if you don’t have dry skin I would definitely suggest you at least pay attention to this cream if given a chance to try it.

[REVIEW] Missha Glow Skin Balm

Missha Glow Skin Balm Review

Missha Glow Skin Balm was purchased by Cosmeperks.

Not too long ago, Missha has launched a new collection called ‘Glow Skin’ and the collection consists of a foundation, a skin balm, a lip & cheek tint, and a tension pact. If I’m not mistaken, the collection’s purpose is for dry skin because fall and winter is coming and that’s when our skin become drier and drier (but sadly I live in a tropical country so we have no season here).

I really want to try the foundation but a lot of reviews were saying that it was too oily if you have oily skin so I didn’t get it and purchased the lip & cheek tint instead. But suddenly Nigama offered me to try the Glow Skin Balm and I’m so thankful! Since its main purpose is for dry skin, I can’t wait to see what it will looks like on my oily skin.

I’m not sure either if it’s a skin primer or a moisturizer, but when I searched about it online, most of the online shops described it as a skin primer. Missha made it only in one type (where other brands usually make it in 3 variants according to skin’s problem) and I think this primer is meant only for making your skin look luminous and feel hydrated.

[REVIEW] Pyunkang Yul Moisture Serum

Pyunkang Yul Moisture Serum Review

Pyunkang Yul Moisture Serum Review:

Pyunkang Yul is a skincare brand launched from the renowned Pyunkang Oriental Medicine Clinic in Korea, which primarily treats atopic skin disorders. Aiming to revolutionize how you approach skincare, the brand advises to not just consider your skin type, but to also consider your body and environment when choosing products.

Thus, the birth of a line of products targeting a healthy oil-moisture skin balance in conjunction with traditional Chinese medicine – a very interesting idea in the sea of trendy ingredients and advertising in the oversaturated K-Beauty market.

So, although I am a bit late to the PKY party (to the point that they’ve now launched a new ACNE line), I wanted to give a well-thought out review after a decent duration of time. With naturally heaty facial skin and doomed to a humid climate day in and day out, did the Moisture Serum work out well for me?

[REVIEW] Holika Holika Good Cera Super Ceramide Emulsion

Holika Holika Good Cera Super Ceramide Emulsion Review

Holika Holika Good Cera Super Ceramide Emulsion Review:

Ceramides are something that always interest me, so I tend to be interested in products that mention or contain ceramides. I had never tried anything from Holika Holika either, but when I saw that they had this ceramide emulsion I became curious and had many questions. In the past I totally ignored emulsions because I never found one that worked well for me, that was until I tried the Dermatory Hypoallergenic Emollient. After having such a great experience with that emulsion, I was curious to see if another ceramide emulsion would work as well for me as the Dermatory one had.

Holika Holika had another version of this ceramide emulsion in the past, and then they reformulated it. But the previous version seemed to have great reviews and I noticed that this emulsion had three types of ceramides which made me instantly want to try it. I’ve been using this emulsion since May, and the other day I noticed that I had almost finished it, so it felt like the right time to do a review of it.

[REVIEW] JAYJUN Real Water Brightening Black Cream

JAYJUN Real Water Brightening Black Cream Review

JAYJUN Real Water Brightening Black Cream Review:

I came upon this cream while browsing on Yestyle, and decided to give it a try since it was on sale. I’ve had a good history with Jayjun’s sheet masks so I was curious as to whether their skincare line was just as good.

[REVIEW] Guerisson 9 Complex Moisture Balancing Cream

Guerisson 9 Complex Moisture Balancing Cream Review

Guerisson 9 Complex Moisture Balancing Cream Review:

Horse oil was one of the ingredients that I never wished to ever use on my skin. However, after using a routine with multiple steps that never seemed to help my skin, I got to the point where I decided to just try horse oil and see if it would help my skin. It felt like I could never find a moisturizer that was heavy enough for my skin, or a routine that actually did something.

So almost a year ago, I decided to reset my routine and so I cut everything out of it except my sunscreen and the Guerisson 9 Complex cream. It was risky, considering I never had tried the cream before and I was replacing a ten-step routine with two items. I expected my skin to look even worse that before, but what surprised me was that my skin looked no worse (and no better) but considering I was only use two items it was still surprising to me.

After that I slowly introduced a few new products, and what I found was that the Guerisson 9 Complex cream was the best cream I had ever used (despite me not wanting to use horse oil… heh). It was actually heavy enough for my skin and perfect, and my skin looked the best it had looked in years. Anyway, so that was the original 9 complex cream. When I was using my second jar of it I looked at the Guerisson website and found out that they had reformulated and the cream and added a new cream to the line-up. I was honestly a bit upset, but also curious to find out about the new cream.

The new Guerisson 9 Complex cream is the one in this review – the Moisture Balancing cream. The other two creams (the original one and the ginseng one) had the formula’s changed slightly although I’m not sure what has been changed. I never intended to try the moisture balancing cream, but as I said I was curious about it, so I looked up to see what was different from the regular one. Well it turned out that instead of just horse oil this one contains five types of ceramides! If that doesn’t sound like heaven for dry and dehydrated skin, I don’t know what would. Plus, I found out this one was designed for dehydrated skin, so honestly it sounded so perfect that I just had to try it out.

[REVIEW] Innisfree Blueberry Rebalancing Cream (New Packaging)

Innisfree Blueberry Rebalancing Cream Review

Innisfree Blueberry Rebalancing Cream Review:

This cream, just like the same line’s cleansing foam, is exactly the same as the previous version, and only the package was updated. As you can see by the package, I have the previous version, but below I’ll post an image of the new version with comparisons for you.

Anyway, this cream, as the name says, aims to rebalance the skin. I really loved the Blueberry cleanser and I have high expectations for this cream too!

[REVIEW] Gaondodam Pure All In One Moisturizer

Gaondodam Pure All In One Moisturizer Review

Gaondodam Pure All In One Moisturizer Review:

I got this product last year and it has a surprising amount of product (for a facial cream) and so it took me forever to finish. However, I am writing this review after finishing the whole pot, so you know right away that I liked it “at least enough”. But this brand isn’t that well known nor that appreciated, so even if it’s for general knowledge I think it deserves a review!

[REVIEW] Etude House Red Energy Tension Up Intense Eye Balm

Etude House Red Energy Tension Up Intense Eye Balm Review

Etude House Red Energy Tension Up Intense Eye Balm Review:

The eye area is so delicate and for a long time I went without an eye cream, and maybe because of that my undereye area is so dry. I keep looking for new eye creams because they always seem to irritate my eyes or aren’t moisturizing enough. I had noticed this Etude House one a while ago, but it took me a while to decide to try it out. Even though I’m not a fan of red, something about “red energy” just appealed to me, so I decided to give it a go.

I was hopeful that for once I might have found a great eye cream, after all this one contains niacinamide (good for brightening skin), lots of fruit extracts and shea butter. I hoped that it would have enough occlusive ingredients to stop the skin around my eyes from drying out. This eye cream is meant to be good for wrinkles too, and my undereye area has a few fine lines because I’m guilty of rubbing my eyes (or I used to a lot). Shall we see if this eye cream worked better than the previous ones I’ve tried?
