Heart Made Bless of Gaia Flax & Herb Nourishing Skincare Oil Review

Heart Made Bless of Gaia Flax & Herb Nourishing Skincare Oil Review:

Recently I’ve been quite interested in facial oils and so I’ve been on the hunt to find some different oils that would help my dry skin out. When I finished the oil that I was using at night, I was looking for a replacement when I stumbled across a local website selling this Heart Made facial oil. It was made by a company I’d never heard of before so I was curious about it. Because it was a brand I had never heard of before I did try to find some reviews (and failed) and also looked into the company to decide whether to buy it or not.

According to Heart Made’s website, their products are vegan and they focus on using natural ingredients with plant extracts and oils. Their products also seem to have very few ingredients in them. When I read the description on their website about the oil it sounded as though it was good for rosacea (which I have mildly), and minimising skin irritation too. In the end I decided to just try it out, after all what was the worst that could happen?

[REVIEW] Trader Joe’s Rose Facial Oil

Trader Joes Rose Facial Oil Review

Trader Joe’s Rose Facial Oil Review:

Luxury facial oils are having a big moment in Western skin care, and a lot of those oils come with premium price points. It’s easy to be tempted by the lovely textures, delicious fragrances and beautifully-designed packaging. I was teetering on the edge of forking over lots of cash for one of these oils, but before I did, I ran to Trader Joe’s for chocolate and as I rounded the aisle my eye landed on this little bottle; I didn’t hesitate a single second before grabbing it up.

At the price I paid, I knew I could use it up for the ends of my hair or my cuticles if my face didn’t like it, but I’m glad to say that my face really, really likes it, and I get to enjoy a little almost-luxury-oil moment every evening when I do my skin care.

[REVIEW] Diego dalla Palma Gold Infusion Youth Potion Serum

Diego dalla Palma Gold Infusion Youth Potion Serum Review

Diego dalla Palma Gold Infusion Youth Potion Serum Review:

I won’t lie to you, the first thing that attracted me to this serum was the packaging. With all its gold and black, it drew my attention the second I stepped into the store. Did I mention the bottle looks like real 24k gold? Because it does!

Diego dalla Palma is a well-known Italian brand that focuses on “giving customers the best results without using harmful ingredients”. I won’t deny that I was afraid of buying a mix of facial oils because of my acne prone skin. But the saleswoman used my soft spot for eco-friendly products against me and I ended up buying it. In fact what made me buy this product was its (almost) completely chemical-free list of ingredients. And my occasional acne is not worse than usual, so yay!

[REVIEW] A’pieu Milky U Oil Serum

A'pieu Milky U Oil Serum Review

A’pieu Milky U Oil Serum was purchased by Cosmeperks.

When Nigama showed me this Milky U serum from A’pieu, I found its simplicity attractive, since I still have the ”teenager” skin. That means that my skin isn’t in need of many fancy ingredients that most products have (and yes, I know, I’ve been totally abusing the fancy ingredients). Lately I’ve noticed how all the products I buy usually contain ingredients that can be to harsh for the skin or are known for their effectiveness.

Of course that’s usually good but I really feel like I’m giving my skin way to much to handle. The truth is that my only problem is acne and the things that can cause it are countless. That’s why I decided to simplify my routine and let my skin breathe for a second.

[REVIEW] A’pieu Olive Facial Oil Moisture Care

Apieu Olive Facial Oil Moisture Care Review

A’pieu Olive Facial Oil Moisture Care Review:

I have been using facial oils recently. I find they are a nice way of, mainly, turning a normal cream into a night cream. Also, they allow me to use less moisturizing creams that I otherwise wouldn’t be able to use in the winter – and would eventually go to waste because silly me had already opened them. I also use facial oils as a quick fix when out of the house, and as a sole moisturizer in some cases. And if you’re worried that facial oils aren’t for you just because you have oily skin: that is not necessarily the case. In fact, some oils can be more beneficial than creams!

But we are here to talk about this specific oil. Which I bought firstly because it was inexpensive – and I really wanted to see how good an inexpensive oil can be. And secondly because it was olive oil and I’m Mediterranean so try making me resist that.

[REVIEW] Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Oil

Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Oil Review

Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Oil Review:

Facial oil is like a luxurious skincare for some people, including me. It is a highly concentrated product and in average, it comes in a little bit more expensive prices than usual moisturizer cream or serum. I guess that’s very reasonable because facial oils have higher benefits that you can’t get from your daily face cream. While a moisturizer cream is a mixture of water and oil, facial oils provide a higher concentrated oil to moisten our skin and repair skin’s barrier to keep it healthy. What’s more, you just need a very small amount of facial oil applied on your entire face, where you may need 3 or more times as much from your face cream.

For an oily-combi skin like mine, facial oil is not a must-have item in my skincare regime. My skin can produce more than enough oil by itself, so why do I have to buy a pricey facial oil? But, back to this early year, my skin became very very dehydrated and dry after suffered from awful break out (as an effect of trying western skincare from a certain brand). I was so desperate for a couple of months and finally decided to have one of facial oil to resolve my skin’s problem and bring my normal skin condition back. So yeah, this is my very first facial oil, The Green Tea Seed Oil from my favorite brand, Innisfree.
