[REVIEW] 16BRAND 16 Cheek Shot 01 Milk Tea Shot

16BRAND 16 Cheek Shot 01 Milk Tea Shot Review

16BRAND 16 Cheek Shot 01 Milk Tea Shot Review:

16 Brand (or previously known as Cho Sung Ah 22) is a Korean beauty brand with a unique and stylish concept. Before they are widely known, some of their products were sold at Sephora and quite popular in the States back in mid 2015. When I try to search for the products, I think Sephora didn’t sell it anymore and now the brand is more popular internationally as 16 Brand. True to their concept, almost all of their products have quite unique packaging but for their newer release, I think they changed it a bit so the concept is more feminine and cute.

If you are a beauty enthusiast, you must’ve heard about their famous duo eyeshadows. It is really popular but since it’s not my cup of tea, I decided to pick other products to try and one of them is the blusher. If I’m not mistaken they only have one powder blusher (the other being multi-products) and not gonna lie, the shade range really attracts me.

All of the shades are in ‘light’ category so it will suit for people with fair to light skin the most. If you have deep skin tone, maybe you’ll find the shades too pale for you. They have 4 shades and based on the swatch only, the shades have similar tone with a slight difference in the undertone. I think the blush is not as popular as the eyeshadows so it’s hard to find some reviews about it. Usually a non-hyped products work really well on me so I’m excited to try the blusher.

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips Talk Coffee To Go BE119 Dry Orange Bianco

Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips Talk Coffee To Go BE119 Dry Orange Bianco Review

Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips Talk Coffee To Go BE119 Dry Orange Bianco Review:

Dear My Blooming Lips Talk is a really famous lipstick from Etude House thanks to their promotion and partnership with a well-known beauty influencer Lily Maymac who had worked together with 3 Concept Eyes in the past as well. Her ‘chosen’ shade, BE109 was really popular at that time and I remember how hard it was in getting that shade. It took me more than a month to wait for the shade to be restocked.

And this year, finally Etude made new shades for the Dear My Blooming Lips Talk and the best part is the shades for fall, that consist of browns and oranges tone which are my most favorite color for lip product! They launched 4 new shades and all of them has orange tone so if you’re not a fan of orange-ish lip color, these won’t be the best lipstick for you.

Usually I’d prefer a liquid lip to a traditional tube lipstick but the shades range are too beautiful to pass. I’m a huge fan of fall/autumn shades so I had a hard time in choosing only one shade. At the end I chose the best-selling shade which is BE119 Dry Orange Bianco.

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Etude House Happy with Piglet Color in Liquid Lips Air Mousse

Etude House Happy with Piglet Color in Liquid Lips Air Mousse #RD301 A sound sleep with Pooh & #PK002 Bounce! Pounce! Tiger Review

Etude House Happy with Piglet Color in Liquid Lips Air Mousse #RD301 A sound sleep with Pooh & #PK002 Bounce! Pounce! Tiger was purchased by Cosmperks.

This product was just released here on January first and of course it started selling out right away. I ordered online and was lucky enough to get a 1+1 coupon so it eased my color decision – I basically wanted all of them, right? I ended up choosing exactly the two colors that are not Piglet! But regardless, they are all from the same collection so I believe Piglet still feels my love.
This is the year of the pig, which is why they chose Piglet and not (the more popular) Pooh as the star of this collection.

[REVIEW] Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner Pencil Pillow Talk

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner Pencil Pillow Talk Review

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner Pencil Pillow Talk Review:

I have always been kind of skeptical of lip liner – what is it really supposed to do? Why do you need it if you are just going to put lipstick over it? Do you just outline your lips or do you actually fill them in? Recently, I had a chat with a makeup artist, who highly encouraged the use of lip liners as a base for lipstick to make it stay in place and last all day.

She recommended that I get lip liners in three essential colors – one n*de shade, one classic red, and one dark burgundy – to really match the whole spectrum of common lip colors out there. Since I am a more of a MLBB girl, I decided to go for the classic n*de first to test out whether lip liners are actually that useful, and then go from there. What better n*de lip liner to get than the classic Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk?

[REVIEW] WAKEMAKE Pocket Styler 01 Modern Matte Eyeshadow Palette

WAKEMAKE Pocket Styler 01 Modern Matte Review

WAKEMAKE Pocket Styler 01 Modern Matte Eyeshadow Palette Review:

I have used Wakemake’s lip products before. In fact that’s what they are known for, and I highly recommend them if you’re into lippies! But their design in general is beautiful so it comes as no surprise that I felt attracted to their eyeshadow palettes.

When I first came to know these eyeshadows they only had “a matte one” and “a glitter one”, but now with two matte palettes I think everyone can find something they like! Honestly I went for this one because it’s the one “I knew” so it’s the one I wanted, but I’m considering getting number 3 on the next sale opportunity.

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Peripera Inklasting Cover Foundation 01 Ivory SPF 30 PA+++

Peripera Inklasting Cover Foundation 01 Ivory Review

Peripera Inklasting Cover Foundation 01 Ivory Review:

If you ever read my review on Peripera’s Ink Blurring Skin Tint, then you know that I’m a big fan of that product. Until now, the Skin Tint is still in the list of my favorite foundations so I was really excited when I saw Peripera launched another foundation for their Ink family, this time called as ‘Ink Cover Foundation’.

If I read it right, the Ink Cover has more coverage than their previous two foundations (Skin Tint and Ink Foundation) thus the name along with improved quality. I bought it immediately when one of my trusted online shop open a pre-order for this foundation. But I was really impressed on how Peripera keeps releasing product after product.

As always, it’s only available in 3 shades. I don’t think they will ever make another shades (like Etude or Clio) but I hope one day they will make a tons of other shades since they are really popular and have so many international customers worldwide.

[REVIEW] Glossier Lidstar Eyeshadow Herb

Glossier Lidstar Eyeshadow Herb Review

Glossier Lidstar Eyeshadow Herb Review:

When I think of Glossier, I think natural, effortless, and enhance-yourself beauty. It’s definitely an extremely popular brand, with a select range of skincare and makeup. They don’t have too many options – for example, Lidstar is their only proper eyeshadow-type product, but the products that they do release are very well-thought out and well-loved.

I really enjoy using their Boy Brow eyebrow gel, and so was excited to try out Lidstar, which is a long-wearing eyeglow is supposed to be enhancing, long-lasting, and easy to wear. I have pretty oily eyelids, so I am always a little wary of any eyeshadow that is not in powder form. How does it hold up?

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Romand Zero Velvet Tint 04 Burnt Heart

Romand Zero Velvet Tint 04 Burnt Heart Review

Romand Zero Velvet Tint 04 Burnt Heart was purchased by Cosmperks.

If you follow Korean beauty bloggers on Instagram, then you must’ve heard about this brand Rom&nd (read as Rom-and). When I searched about the brand, it was revealed that Romand is a Korean beauty brand made by a celebrity makeup artist and YouTuber Saeron Min (widely known as Gaeko). Lately they really did well in promoting their brand by endorsing some well-known beauty bloggers. When I checked their website, they didn’t have too many products, they only have several lip products, some eye palettes, and a blusher.

One of the most promoted product is the Zero Velvet Tint which Nigama offered me to try. They claim it as a velvet tint but after I tried it, I don’t think it belongs to tint category, it’s more like a lip cream instead of a tint. If you are familiar with western style lip cream, you will find a lot of similarities with this product.

The Zero Velvet Tint is available in 6 shades and most of them are more on the darker side. It has various undertones such as red, orange, and rosy from the swatch picture but since everyone has different skin undertone, I am curious on how the shade will look on me.

[REVIEW] Celderma Make Up Quick Priming Mask

Celderma Make Up Quick Priming Mask Review

Celderma Make Up Quick Priming Mask Review:

I will come right out and say it: I’m not sure I buy this whole priming mask thing. But I am very intrigued by it being a quick mask that is done in up to five minutes, and that is an enough selling point for me! Of course I will be judging it also regarding the priming abilities and it better surprise me because if it has priming in the name I expect it to do as much of a good job as my priming sun cream. At least.
