[REVIEW] Klavuu White Pearlsation Ideal Actress Backstage Cream

Klavuu White Pearlsation Ideal Actress Backstage Cream Review

Klavuu White Pearlsation Ideal Actress Backstage Cream Review:

Klavuu is such an underrated brand in the sea of Korean beauty brands. It’s the nation’s first beauty company that features pearls in all their products. The benefits of pearl include hydration and brightening, ultimately creating a radiant and glowy complexion.

Around Christmas time last year, I was searching for the perfect makeup base, and stumbled into the huge Klavuu store in Myeongdong. There, I found out about their White Pearlisation Ideal Actress Backstage Cream (what a mouthful!), which is actually the brand’s best-selling product.

So, does it hold its own?

[REVIEW] IOPE Perfect Shading Stick

IOPE Perfect Shading Stick Review

IOPE Perfect Shading Stick was purchased by Cosmeperks.

I got this contour stick at the same time I got the (amazing perfect, straight to my faves) same collection perfect cover cushion, but yes it took me 6 months to review this stick. Being my first contour stick it makes sense, no? I didn’t know how to use it, deal with it, fix the things that didn’t go that well… but all that is past, and the review of this Contouring stick is finally here!

[REVIEW] Moonshot The First Moon Drawing Gravity 4001 Highlighter

Moonshot The First Moon Drawing Gravity 4001 Highlighter Review

Moonshot The First Moon Drawing Gravity 4001 Highlighter Review:

I’ve been travelling quite a bit recently, so I’ve had to really narrow down and select products that are travel-friendly and convenient to use. Highlighters are actually a very versatile product as they can not only be used to give dimension to the high points of the face, but also as an eyeshadow or even as a lip topper to give some much needed glam and glow.

At Moonshot’s flagship store in Myeongdong, Seoul, these chubby sticks — the highlighter, to be specific — caught my eye. Highly pigmented, they had an extremely smooth texture that simply glided onto the back of my hand. The highlighter (shade 4001) had a slight holographic duochrome effect, which is actually quite rare for Korean products, and it ended up being one of the two Moonshot products that I purchased.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at how The First Moon Drawing: Gravity holds up!

[REVIEW] J.Cat Beauty You Glow Girl Baked Highlighter Bella Rose

J.Cat Beauty You Glow Girl Baked Highlighter Bella Rose Review

J.Cat Beauty You Glow Girl Baked Highlighter Bella Rose Review:

My favorite makeup product is powder highlighters. They make my skin looks so healthy and glowy. For me, more intense the highlighter is better. I do like natural highlighter as well but since I love matte makeup look, the brighter one can make my skin looks more alive and not flat.

Even though there are lots of good highlighters from the high-end brands, I prefer one from the drugstore because I feel they have similar quality and sometimes they even look better on my cheekbones. I love highlighters from Wet n Wild, The Saem, Colourpop, and Etude House so I purchased myself another highlighter from J.Cat Beauty, a drugstore brand known for their good quality and affordable prices.

Everyone around me told me to get this highlighter because of its good reviews and the price is really cheap for a highlighter with a huge amount of product. They have 8.5gr worth of product and I think I never seen a highlighter as huge as this one except from Jeffree Star but it’s a high-end product so I can’t compare them.

[REVIEW] Maybelline Facestudio Master Strobing Cream Highlighter Pink

Maybelline Facestudio Master Strobing Cream Highlighter Pink Review

Maybelline Facestudio Master Strobing Cream Highlighter Pink Review:

As a girl with a very oily and textured skin, I’m not a biggest fan of liquid highlighter. I found them too slippery for my liking and they are not as shiny as the powder highlighter. That’s why I’m not that excited when I saw the advertisement for Maybelline’s newest liquid highlighter. I remember they released this highlighter in a stick formula and I think it’s the first time they made a liquid highlighter since I never saw something like this from their collection before.

Since Maybelline sell their products all around the world, it’s not weird to see they have different packaging for each region. I believe the one I got is exclusively for sale in Asia region. The packaging is shorter and a little bit chubbier. The one they sell in the United States is more flat and thin. They have more volume (20 ml) compared to the Asian’s version which only have 18 ml and they are 3 shades available to choose from while the one I have is available in 2 shades only.

[REVIEW] NEW Innisfree My Blusher 20 & My Contouring 1

New Innisfree My Blusher 20 & My Contouring 1 Review

Innisfree My Blusher 20 & My Contouring 1 Review:

As I waked into the Innisfree store and came out with a full makeup set chosen by the employee and not by me, I tried the eye pencil first and the second thing I was most curious about was the blusher. I have only used cream blushers by Innisfree so this would be my first time with a powder one!

The contouring I wasn’t too excited, to be honest, because although I do enjoy highlighter I felt that contouring would be… awkward. But I tried that along with the blusher that was chosen for me, and I have thoughts I want to share!

[REVIEW] TonyMoly Luminous Goddess Aura Aurolighter aka Rainbow Highlighter

TonyMoly Luminous Goddess Aura Aurolighter aka Rainbow Highlighter Review

TonyMoly Luminous Goddess Aura Aurolighter aka Rainbow Highlighter Review:

I don’t think I need an explanation for this one. But I will give one anyway! We didn’t get many rainbow highlighters here in Korea when the trend came. From the mainstream brands we got this one, and one pastel version of it from Etude House. Well, I am one of those who loves unicorns and princess and glitter and fabulous stuff so, even though I don’t really wear highlighters, I had to grab one. Since the Etude House version was more pastel (or underwear color) I grabbed this one that had bright fabulousness dripping out of it.

[Review] The Face Shop x Trolls Pastel Cushion Blusher Shimmer Cupcake Highlighter (06)

The Face Shop x Trolls Pastel Cushion Blusher Shimmer Cupcake Highlighter (06) Review

The Face Shop x Trolls Pastel Cushion Blusher Shimmer Cupcake Highlighter (06) Review:

One of the many great perks you get from using Asian cosmetics, is collaborations between brands and movies, shows or comics that are hot at the moment!! This particular collaboration between The Face Shop and Disney’s Trolls movie, contains only makeup products(unlike the Simpsons one for example where it was  only skincare and mostly sun protection).

I’ve been looking for a light highlighter, that wouldn’t make my face look like a moving lightbulb but that would make my skin look more dewy and healthy-ish and previously, I had tried the face shop’s cushion blusher which is made with the same formula and liked it a lot so I thought, why not give this one a try?
