[REVIEW] WAKEMAKE Pocket Styler 01 Modern Matte Eyeshadow Palette

WAKEMAKE Pocket Styler 01 Modern Matte Review

WAKEMAKE Pocket Styler 01 Modern Matte Eyeshadow Palette Review:

I have used Wakemake’s lip products before. In fact that’s what they are known for, and I highly recommend them if you’re into lippies! But their design in general is beautiful so it comes as no surprise that I felt attracted to their eyeshadow palettes.

When I first came to know these eyeshadows they only had “a matte one” and “a glitter one”, but now with two matte palettes I think everyone can find something they like! Honestly I went for this one because it’s the one “I knew” so it’s the one I wanted, but I’m considering getting number 3 on the next sale opportunity.

[REVIEW] Glossier Lidstar Eyeshadow Herb

Glossier Lidstar Eyeshadow Herb Review

Glossier Lidstar Eyeshadow Herb Review:

When I think of Glossier, I think natural, effortless, and enhance-yourself beauty. It’s definitely an extremely popular brand, with a select range of skincare and makeup. They don’t have too many options – for example, Lidstar is their only proper eyeshadow-type product, but the products that they do release are very well-thought out and well-loved.

I really enjoy using their Boy Brow eyebrow gel, and so was excited to try out Lidstar, which is a long-wearing eyeglow is supposed to be enhancing, long-lasting, and easy to wear. I have pretty oily eyelids, so I am always a little wary of any eyeshadow that is not in powder form. How does it hold up?

[REVIEW] Pro 8 Cheongdam Stay On Gel Eyeliner 01 Black

Pro 8 Cheongdam Stay On Gel Eyeliner 01 Black Review

Pro 8 Cheongdam Stay On Gel Eyeliner 01 Black Review:

Out of the various types of eyeliners, the gel type has always been my favorite. Pencils are great for a breezy, undone look, but they sometimes lack precision and always smudge way too easily on my oily eyelids. Liquid liners work well if you want a perfectly crisp winged look, but for me, they sometimes come off as too perfect, almost unnaturally so. A tiny pot of gel eyeliner is a happy medium for me, striking the perfect balance in the best of both worlds.

Pro 8 Cheongdam was not a brand that I had heard about, until I saw its Stay On Gel Eyeliner being used in one of Pony’s makeup tutorial videos. It glides on silky smooth with great pigment, and so I gave in to the temptation and bought it during my trip to Seoul. The brand is actually under Picasso — yes, Picasso as in the famed Picasso makeup brushes!

So, how does it hold up?

[REVIEW] Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner Super Keep 02 Bitter Brown

Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner Super Keep 02 Bitter Brown Review

Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner Super Keep 02 Bitter Brown Review:

For the most part, I’m more of a mascara person, so I never was one for the whole strong jet black cat eye look as more often than not, it’d obscure the rest of my eye makeup and make my lashes look less prominent. However, I found a compromise for when I did want some eye makeup exaggeration: brown eyeliner.

Less intense, less prone to visually blocking out my naturally black lashes, and definitely more suitable for “soft looks” or standalone wear without coming off “too strong”. And well, since I trust Heroine Make with my mascara needs, I decided, why not give their eyeliner a go, too?

[REVIEW] Etude House Color My Brows 04 Natural Brown

Etude House Color My Brows 04 Natural Brown Review

Etude House Color My Brows 04 Natural Brown Review:

Around two years ago I tried an eyebrow mascara and it was amazing. I popped it open, brushed my eyebrows, had no stray hairs and nothing else to do there as it also filled in the gaps between eyebrows and all. So, since my eyebrow shadow (it’s just eyeshadow I use to fill in my brows) is almost ending… it was time for me to get something else!

Now, I always have dark brown eyeshadow around, so I was looking to replace my lighter option that makes me look less… vintage. Less angry. Less like Snow White. I chose Natural Brown because the name indicates naturalness? I bought it online (instead of taking my fat butt to the store) so it was almost like I was doing it blindly. Let me tell you beforehand, on and on it went quite well!

[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Etude House Colorful Drawing Fantastic Color Eyes 02 Vermilion

Etude House Colorful Drawing Fantastic Color Eyes 02 Vermilion Review

Etude House Colorful Drawing Fantastic Color Eyes 02 Vermilion Review:

Although it’s still a new product I didn’t get it right after it came out. There’s two reasons for that. One is that usually Etude House eyeshadow palettes have a lower quality than their single shadows – and usually only one or two special colors. Another is that, of course, it was difficult to choose between the two palettes! Eventually I chose this one because the other one was too similar to… everything else I own.

[REVIEW] A’Pieu Eye Mousse 05 Daily Mocha

Apieu Eye Mousse 05 Daily Mocha Review

A’Pieu Eye Mousse 05 Daily Mocha Review:

I do love glitter/shimmery liquid eyeshadows but sometimes I think the glitters are too much for me. I’m not a smokey eye-look lover and I prefer neutral shades so I can wear it for my daily activity. Among the Korean liquid shadows sold in the market, I rarely found any matte liquid shadows so I’m pretty excited when I saw A’Pieu has one (and with very affordable price!)

A’Pieu is known for their high quality products with very low price so of course I have to purchase one. They have 5 shades and all shade is neutrals and can be worn everyday, start from a very pale beige shade to a deep mocha brown.

They claim it as a ‘creamy, fitting eyeshadow with texture as light as mousse and very long lasting’ so I hope what they claim is true. I’ve been wanting a good matte liquid eyeshadow because sometimes it takes too much time to blend powder shadow so if what they claim is true, I’d be a very happy consumer.

Etude House Lash Perm Curl Fix Mascara 01 Black Review

Etude House Lash Perm Curl Fix Mascara 01 Black Review:

I finished my previous mascara and although I have another one I use them so much that having two on the loop gives me different looks rather than pressure to finish them. So, finishing my previous one I went to an affordable and trustworthy store most of us know and love and decided to try their most popular mascara. It promises to curl and fix, but does it really?
