The Face Shop InkGel Eyeliner Review

The Face Shop InkGel Eyeliner Review:

Hello everyone! Today I will be introducing my holy grail fail proof eyeliners, by The Face Shop. The eyeliners were recommended to me by a friend working at TFS, I tried it out because they claim to be waterproof. They’re only $10 Canadian, I got them on sale for 50% off!

The eyeliners are automatic that includes a mini sharpener on the end. There are 12 different shades, matte and shimmer. I absolutely adore the matte ones and they have performed really well on my waterline. The shades that I got are 01 New York Black (matte), 03 Seattle Brown (matte), 09 Peach Cinnamon (shimmer), 12 Peach Vanilla Syrup (shimmer).

[REVIEW] New 2018 VDL + PANTONE 18 Expert Color Primer For Eyes Serenity

VDL + PANTONE 18 Expert Color Primer For Eyes Serenity Review

VDL + PANTONE 18 Expert Color Primer For Eyes Serenity Review:

A while ago I asked around regarding the eye primers, people would recommend for an oily eyelid that’s sensitive to drying eye primers (which apparently are a lot of them). I got two results and since the other one was difficult to gain access to I ended up taking this one instead.

Now, I was going for their regular primers, BUT the Pantone editions have more product for a very good price (6.5g for 15 vs 13g for 22) so I took this one instead! VDL Expert Color Primer focuses on matte eyeshadows, my favorites which I always have a hard time wearing. And it has the advantage it looks like unicorn blood.

[REVIEW] Beauty Creations Tease Me Eyeshadow Palette

Beauty Creations Tease Me Eyeshadow Palette Review

Beauty Creations Tease Me Eyeshadow Palette Review:

Recently I see a lot of brands, either a luxury brands or drugstore to indie brands are releasing their own version of eyeshadow palettes. As a collector, I really want to try them all but my sight goes to a brand new palette from Beauty Creations because the color scheme is really pretty.

Beauty Creations is a affordable brand from the US and I don’t know exactly if they are an indie brand or a drugstore brand because I can’t find full information about them but we can get their products directly from their website. They are quite well known because their products are really eye-catching and budget-friendly. I saw some of big Youtubers talking about them as well.

[REVIEW] Etude House Be My Universe Pinky Galaxy Universe Multi Palette

Etude House Be My Universe Pinky Galaxy Universe Multi Palette Review

Etude House Be My Universe Pinky Galaxy Universe Multi Palette Review:

Truthfully, I’m not one to wear much make-up, other than bb cream and occasionally mascara. But for a while I’ve been wanting to wear more make-up and wanting to buy some eyeshadow, but usually I haven’t found the shades I wanted until Etude House came out with these multi palettes. Or… maybe it was the design that won me over?

I mean who could resist the shimmering planet designs of the palettes? Not me. I loved the design for the golden galaxy, the black case looked utterly gorgeous, but realistically I knew the colors wouldn’t match my skin, and I loved the pink, blue and purplish case of the other design too. Plus, the colors inside looked like they would match my skin better, or at least I hoped so.

[REVIEW] Colourpop X Kathleen Lights – Dream St. Shadow Palette

Colourpop X Kathleen Lights - Dream St. Shadow Palette Review

Colourpop X Kathleen Lights – Dream St. Shadow Palette Review:

I kept eyeing this Dream St. palette since I saw it on Colourpop Instagram, few days before it’s officially launched. I immediately fell in love with all shades of 12 eyeshadows in this palette. They are all pretty and, like its name, very dreamy. And I guess a lot of beauty enthusiasts around the world have a same thought. No wonder, this palette was sold out in few hours after launched. Luckily, Colourpop worked hard to restock this product in several days, thus I was very happy to get mine a day before Christmas last year. It’s like a Christmas gift, haha!

Dream St. makeup collection is the second collaboration from Colourpop with a lovely and talented beauty influencer, Kathleen Lights. I did not know much about her before but then started following her because I love her videos and the shades she chose for this makeup collection seemed to be very pretty. They launched not only an eyeshadow palette but also three shades of lip cream with matte, satin and glossy finish. Following my good experience with Colourpop X My Little Pony Shadow Palette, I hope this Colourpop Dream St. Shadow Palette give me awesome result as well. Let’s see!

[REVIEW] Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara Advance Film Black

Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara Advance Film Black Review

Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara Advance Film Black Review:

I believe the notion of equating big well-defined eyes to beauty is the same worldwide. And there are so many brands and types of eye makeup products in the market. I personally am a subscriber to mascara. Having “studied” them long enough, I sum up that they all essentially promise any or all of the three features – long, curl and volume.

Waterproof, smudgeproof or coloured mascaras are added functions. So how to differentiate one brand from another? Even within each brand, there are so many variations. Ughh…life is so complicated *lol* I have had tried many different brands of mascara over many years, but have not found one that retained my loyalty. When I chanced upon this Kiss Me mascara, it looks promising. So will this be the one?

[REVIEW] Jordana Made to Last Liquid Eyeshadow 03 Immortal Metal & 04 Uphold Gold

Jordana Made to Last Liquid Eyeshadow 03 Immortal Metal & 04 Uphold Gold Review

Jordana Made to Last Liquid Eyeshadow 03 Immortal Metal & 04 Uphold Gold Review:

I was browsing some makeup in the middle of the night when I saw these. I’ve heard about Jordana before (their liquid lipstick as a big hit) but I never tried their eye products before. When these items were on sale, there are not many liquid eyeshadows available in the market so I was interested to buy and try it.

Jordana is a drugstore brand and it’s fairly easy to find. They sell makeup products for affordable price and they do have good quality. Their brand is not as famous as Wet n Wild or Maybelline but I love everything I had tried from them before.

Etude House Prism in Eyes PK002 Romantic Starlight Review

Etude House Prism in Eyes PK002 Romantic Starlight Review:

Etude House is always ‘in-the-middle’ brand for me, means they don’t have that superb product but they aren’t terrible either. Last year they launched so many new products both in limited and regular edition. One of the newest and included in the permanent line is the eyeshadow collection called Prism in Eyes. Basically it’s an eyeshadow with a lot of glitters particle and extreme sparkles.

[REVIEW] Etude House Oh M’eye Line Eye Liner 01 Black

Etude House Oh M'eye Line Eye Liner Review

Etude House Oh M’eye Line Eye Liner Review:

Do you know the feeling of being scared a company will ever discontinue producing your holy grail? If you don’t – maybe you should try the Etude House Oh m’Eye Line Eyeliner.

This product has been a favorite of mine since I first tried it a couple years ago and I would like to spread the love – also in a selfish hope that the more people fall in love with it, the less likely it will ever be on Etude House’s radar to get cut in order to make room for new products.

I stumbled on this one rather unwillingly. I had just come back from my exchange year in Japan, where I discovered the Canmake eyeliner and found that it was performing better than any I had ever used before. Sadly when I had to return to my home country and ran out of it, there was no way to order it online. Thus my quest for an equally good liner started – and I stumbled upon Etude House eyeliner which ended up being even better than the one by Canmake.
